I accidentally came across an AL-KO FRS 4125 trimmer. The characteristics fully fit my requirements. I ordered in one of the online stores at the lowest price. They brought it in 4 days later and on July 26th there was the first trial mowing in the country. Before starting work, he unscrewed the candle and examined the cylinder. The traces of the hone are very clear, so I poured 2 cubes of 2-stroke engine oil into the cylinder and turned the crankshaft several times. This is not in any of the instructions, but since running in is strictly required for this motor, it will not be worse from such a procedure before the first start. Oil mixed with gasoline strictly according to the instructions 1:25, i.e. 40 ml for 1 liter of gasoline. 2-stroke engine oil. Started up the second time. Does not smoke (Husqvarna oil) at all. It runs very quietly at idle and medium. The voice wakes up closer to maximum, but still does not deafen. There is vibration, so I use special anti-vibration gloves. The motor (while new) does not respond well to the gas button. As I already wrote, running in should be required. The run-in was carried out at a temperature of +30 on the street: 2 minutes idling and 13-15 minutes at 2/3 of the maximum speed on thin thin grass with a fishing line, then rest for 20-30 minutes. I made 4 such approaches, just the tank was completely depleted. Then he again mixed a mixture of gasoline and oil according to the passport and mowed for about 30 minutes without interruption in the entire operating range of the engine, but regularly every 2-3 minutes he let it work a little on h.x. Throttle response has improved dramatically, as has engine output. After the season of use, no problems!

Not only does he cut all the grass, he grinds it into flour !!! Stones scatter to the sides! A beast, not a scythe!)) By my stupidity, I did not carefully assemble the reel when I changed the line, the result: the reel flew in different directions on the go))) Later, I bought a new one (although there is a knife in the kit), and the rampage continued)) ) With such a convenient, powerful and accessible scythe, I'm ready to mow at least a section of the chairman))))

Advantages: Normal scythe. Powerful. One-piece shaft with cardan. The price of 5700 is quite adequate.

Disadvantages: No important ones.

Comment: The engines on them are the most good, the same as the champion 334. Those who like to pour oil more than the norm (does not keep idling), and run in at idle speed (overheating and seizures as a result) will not be satisfied with any oblique. I chose it for a solid shaft, because it vibrates less.

Advantages: Reliable has worked honestly for 4 years without a single serious breakdown. I poured various oils, gasoline. Operation in a hard mode. Mowed a plot of 30 acres of tall grass several times a month. Starts up well. He removed the protective cover over the spool and extended the line 20 cm from each end. Brutally mows !!!

Disadvantages: After 4 years of wildly intense work, the suction on the carburetor began to fail. You press, it does not come back. Stalls under load (give power, shuts up) I washed the carburetor, put a new one - nothing helps.As a result, they installed the old one - it worked. I worked for a month and stopped starting completely. And washed the candle - to no purpose. The workshop said that the piston is already being covered. The maximum is enough for the season. Most likely the compression is not the same. They say that not a single braid has been working for more than 4 years. Spare parts are not durable. Well, I also changed the bobbin, and at the end the accelerator began to jam, and at idle the bobbin scrolls. But this is all nonsense!

Comment: But in general I am satisfied. I will buy the same again. Or Stihl fs55 (only 2500 is more expensive)

Advantages: bought last year in Lipetsk on the advice of the seller, praised her very much. He even started and compared it with Husqvarna, showing how insignificant she is. We are mowing for the second year, a plot of 30 acres, the grass is waist-deep, I can’t get enough of it :) It is very powerful, comfortable, does not vibrate anything. The handle is just superb. Before that, there was a Partner (at that time it was called differently, now a Partner) - much weaker, not convenient and less powerful, although it worked for 12 years. I recommend this one!
