Disadvantages: NO. There was no experience with gasoline scythes. Compared to the electric bent 2000 watt IKRA trimmer, the vibration is much less, therefore there is no negative. And the observation of his son that he was mowing a low-power ECHO, which was also started with difficulty (maybe killed), erased even the smallest flaws from his memory).

Comment: Poured mixture 92 with PATRIOT semi-synthetics oil 1:32 as instructed. The first 5 minutes spits (smudges on the casing and smokes), then clean exhaust. On the can of oil it is "boldly" written that 1: 100 is allowed !!! I dont risk it though. It works exactly 70-80% of the speed during the run-in. 1st tank on light grass high consumption (did not detect, but it seemed very fast, min 25). The second tank has already worked twice as long in the same conditions. There is enough power for everything. The noise is very moderate, I didn't even think about headphones. I recommend glasses when mowing - it flies in all directions. The coil does not beat, the line (rewound and sold with silicone) is not welded. Line feed on impact works adequately. Advantages: For me personally, who only dealt with Soviet 2-stroke, this is just a miracle: I unpacked, assembled according to the instructions (quite understandable), refueled and started from the first jerk! Everything about everything took no more than 15 minutes! Magic! Moreover, the engine starts from the 1st time both cold and hot (do not forget to just follow the instructions - we set the position of the air damper correctly). He slightly stretched all the threaded connections, lubricated the gearbox (as I understand it, it went in factory lubricant, since its excess quickly went back). By the way, the gearbox is a native Japanese! Used grease "Shtil", an 80-gram tube, special for brushcutter gearboxes. Engine oil - "Calm" (red). Diluted according to the instructions for 1 liter of fuel 20 ml of oil.The fuel mixture was made adjusted for the quality of gasoline: 1 liter of AI-92 and 25 ml of oil. After using the standard fishing line, I purchased a Patriot fishing line: 15 m long, 2.4 mm Zvezda - 5 cutting edges. Power - 2.5 HP - just right: all the past season mowed with fishing line and grass, and old dead burdock, and raspberries. In general, a beast, not a machine! The Patriot also did not disappoint while working in tandem with a saw blade for a brushcutter - with a bang he sawed a plum shoot under the root with a bang - the maximum diameter of the trunks was about 40 mm.

Disadvantages: For a man with arms and a head, there are simply no flaws. Some complain about vibration at idle, especially when the scythe is lying. Yes, it shocks a little, but creeps a little, so immediately think about a place for the braid plant. Vibration is not felt on the knapsack when suspended. If you correctly balance the braid using knapsack adjusters and handle position adjusters, then its weight is practically not noticeable.

Comment: In general, I am satisfied with my purchase! I recommend to others! And, as they say, God will help, but just do not forget about personal protective equipment - take care of your eyes.

Comment: Since the good old Husqvarna 128R began to refuse to work, and the new one already "bites" with such prices, I decided to buy another petrol cutter. I bought this trimmer at the beginning of June. After the second refueling, the handle began to dangle during mowing and stopped the unit. It turned out that one of the mounting bolts had been unscrewed (and of course it got lost in the grass), both bolts had been screwed on without grovers. I called the service center - it turns out to be a problem to buy such a bolt (it is not clear why they do not have bolts on sale separately). I had to figure out how to get out of the situation (the bolt is inserted into the inside and tightened with a hexagon, a wrench or a head does not crawl), took a longer bolt and tightened it with a nut (see photo), changed the elastic band in the mount, but the handle is still unreliable - when turns with great effort. In the mixing tank, during the preparation of the mixture, the gasket stretched and then broke completely (not oil-resistant rubber). Now, when mixing, the mixture flows out from under the lid (until I found a suitable gasket in size). When working with the disc, one more drawback was revealed. The casing protrudes very strongly to the left side and on uneven terrain constantly clings to the ground or grass when moving to the left (with the Husqvarna 128R there are no such problems) - I had to remove it and mow without the casing, but this is no longer safe (a stone caught in the grass flew right into hand). I liked the trimmer, but for these small jambs I put 4.

Advantages: cheap and cheerful!

Disadvantages: the fuel cap is leaking! If you turn over the trimmer, gasoline spills out.

Comment: Cuts and mows everything.

Advantages: Powerful! When choosing, do not look at the amount of hp, but look at the engine displacement, the more the better (preferably from 30 cc and more).

Comment: Before putting it into operation for the first time, be sure to add grease to the gearbox (this is very easy to do, unscrew the screw and squeeze the grease inside with a syringe until it climbs back, tighten the screw back) and stretch all the screws. I dilute petrol 95 1:50 with Husqvarna HP oil, do not save on oil. With this power, I consider the device to be economical. I have exactly one tank for a plot of 7.5 acres. I also bought an additional Husqvarna head 5784461-01 T25 M10 works great. By the way, it is convenient to have two charged heads, if one runs out you don’t waste time to load the line, but put the second one. And yet, let it rest after 20 minutes of continuous work, this is good for the engine, do not overheat it. Update: The 2017 season worked smoothly, mowed every 2-3 weeks. To clear the area from shrubs and small hemp remaining from trees no more than 8-10 cm in diameter, I used a knife that came with the kit, cut the hemp to a level with the ground. Just for these purposes, the engine volume is needed, 45 cubes coped with the task.

Advantages: Power. Affordability. Complete set (knife + reel with fishing line, harness on two shoulders, tared container for mixing fuel). Appearance.

Disadvantages: - The line in the reel is constantly getting stuck (a shikos-nakos was wound). - The screws on the handle are unscrewed from vibration as if not tightened (one was eventually lost). You constantly need to pass all the fasteners with keys (this is even spelled out in the instructions!), And the bolts are of two sizes, i.e. carry two keys (hexagons) with you and try on where to turn which. - The coil is difficult to clean from long grass. You have to stop, unhook the trimmer from the suspension and unwind the grass.

Comment: According to the instructions, you need to slope 5-6 full tanks at low load, i.e. just a smooth lawn apparently. And not even with a knife. And even with stops to cool down the engine .. I had to cut the weeds on the overgrown area fast .. I had to divide the process into two days and suffer with long grass constantly winding on a reel. Due to the crookedly wound fishing line in the reel, strong vibrations appear, which leads to the loosening of the bolts (in my case, on the shield and handles). The instructions poorly describe the process of starting a HOT scythe: just turn on the ignition and, without dampers and gas, pull the starter handle - it should start easily. In the beginning I did it according to the instructions and filled in the candle .. pulled, pulled .. thought the hand would fall off ((

Advantages: Price-quality, powerful enough, easy to use, normal coil. The disc cuts the bush well.

Disadvantages: The casing is watery, after one season it became soft in the area of ​​attachment to the bar. The petrol plug gets into the thread badly. The fastening of the "horn" handle can be unscrewed by sowing one bolt. We need to tighten up.
