Last year we bought a Foresto collar from Baer for our cat. Long-lasting collar, works for 8 months, i.e. the whole warm season. The active substances are imidacloprid (acts on fleas and their larvae) and flumethrin (acts on ticks). For the whole summer, the cat did not scratch and we did not see any other insects on the animal. The collar is packed in a metal box, in addition there are three reflectors. But we didn’t wear it. So as not to interfere with the cat. The collar is odorless. An additional plus. Next season we plan to buy Foresto again.

A veterinarian at a local clinic recommended this collar, we tried to use it - and there were no problems. Now only Foresto. The cat is comfortable, but even with his short coat, the reflective elements are lost in it, so there is no way to watch him in the dark. Otherwise, everything is very good.

Advantages:
The only collar for animals on the market that is truly effective against all insects, including ticks. We tried various options for collars, drops - after a week the cats still came with ticks. The first times we bought these collars on European sites with delivery to Russia. Then they appeared here. I recommend to everyone - there is enough reliable fastener for the whole summer, cats did not have any reaction, children - allergy sufferers who like to communicate with cats - too, but there are no insects.
