Advantages:

Guys who have online games slow down, I draw your attention to the fact that this card is not for you - buying it will not save you from problems, but for the money saved, take a better tariff;) Well, who knows what it is and "with what it eat "- be careful. There are a lot of fakes. Buy cards only from trusted resellers and with yottamark. I stuck a card from the category and forgot. Completely hassle-free with perfectly licked drivers, incl. and for * nix-systems (there was one problem, but already solved).

Disadvantages:
There are a lot of fakes. Even big resellers sell fakes of this card. I unknowingly bought 2 of these, after a while, it turned out that the cards were not Intel, but a simple Chinese noname, outwardly very similar to Intel. The price, of course, is the same as that of a real Intel.
Comment:
It is quite simple to distinguish a fake from a real card: the presence of yottamark and the intel inscription on the board itself.

Advantages:
I plugged it into the NAS on nas4free, the problems with the network stopped, everything just picked up and works. Setevukha is excellent.
Disadvantages:
I had to look for the original intel, there are decent fakes on sale.
Comment:
I use it in my home NAS. The network built into the motherboard periodically hung under load. This card does not care about the load. It is only necessary when buying to spend time choosing a store where they sell the original. The differences between the original and the fake are described in detail in other reviews and in the discussion. From one store they brought a fake exactly as described, from another (more expensive) they brought the original (with a yottamark and other things). Everything is ok, but I had to wait an extra few days because of this. Be careful and check the card before giving the money.

Advantages:
Win7, Ubuntu 10, Centos 6.3, ESXI 5.1 - determined without installing third-party drivers. Low profile bar included. 36 months warranty.
Disadvantages:
It is popular with resourceful Chinese who sell fake copies on sites like alibaba, after which cards bought by no less resourceful buyers for $ 5 are sold to gullible customers for $ 35. You can find out how to distinguish a fake in the discussion.
Comment:
iperf in 10 threads - 944mbit (20cm patchcord 24awg cat5). None of the three purchased cards fail. The processor load is minimal, for comparison, another (built-in) intel 82579LM network card on a laptop (thinkpad x230) during a gigabit ten-thread iperf test weighed i5-3210m by 25%, and this one loaded the i7-3820 by only 4%, i.e. ... approximately threefold difference with the built-in solution of the same manufacturer.

I read that many fakes are on sale, I have an original with a Yotamark hologram, with a delta transformer, a metal insert in the rj45 connector, etc.
Comment:
The built-in realtek network card periodically could not get the dns server address from the provider and did not establish a connection, the shamanism with manually registering servers did not help. It was too lazy to re-solder the network chip on the motherboard. Installation of an Intel setevukha solved the problem.

I already put the second fake in the storage system (the first for expanding the number of ports, the second to replace the failed riltek integrated into the mother) and forgot. Even quality fakes!

Quality, Low latency, Works "out of the box" in Windows 7 X64 / Windows 8.1 X64
Disadvantages:
The package bundle is just awful, there is no CD with drivers, only a low profile bar. There are a lot of fakes. Just the sea.
