Advantages: - PCI-E - Gigabit - Price

Disadvantages: - no low-profile bar included

Comment: The only cheap network card for PCI-E, other analogs are many times more expensive. I installed ZOTAC IONITX-T-E on the motherboard, with OpenSuse 12.1 - everything worked right away, I didn't even have to turn off the network boot. In length, the board is a couple of millimeters shorter than the PCI-E x4 slot.

Advantages: Gigabit card, works well on Windows and Ubuntu. Uses PCIe-1x slot. Has many functions.

Disadvantages: At first it was loaded for a long time, tk. By default, network boot is enabled for 50 seconds. To disable this function, you will have to enter the BIOS of the network girl by holding Shift + F10 at boot. However, it does not accept all keyboards, it worked only on the fourth keyboard, the classic Logitech PS / 2.

Comment: Inexpensive, high-quality, recommended if there are no available PCI slots, but only PCI express, and you need a separate network card. Works well on Linux. Some troubles only with the selection of a suitable keyboard for entering the BIOS of a network girl and disabling network boot.

Advantages: 1Gbit to PCIE for that kind of money

Disadvantages: I had to flash the BIOS on the mother and re-compress the Connector from shielded to simple
