You just pour a certain amount of water into it (different for different products, the instructions contain a table and a reminder on the machine itself). You can measure the water with a blender cup. Filled it, closed it, turned it on and left! I came when I need to, the steamer turns off by itself when the water boils away. She shook the prepared food into a blender and then into a plate. All! No need to wash the kitchen counter. Just one container. About 20 minutes to cook. You can cook fruits, vegetables and meats in the Kitfort steam bdender. All that is needed. The mechanism is simple, difficult to break. Intuitive, easy to operate and clean. It is a great time saver, which is very valuable for a mother with a small child. Advantages: - makes mashed potatoes from a consistency with grains to completely homogeneous - design, opening button - easy to clean, it is possible to remove the knife (which, for example, I do not have in a stationary blender, which makes washing difficult) - despite the warning in the instructions about heating the device during cooking time, it will be difficult to burn yourself, and the handle of the bowl is barely warm at all

Disadvantages: - volume (no more than 200 g of puree can be prepared at a time, due to the limitation of the amount of water for cooking, the only exceptions are peaches and plums)

Comment: The blender was bought for preparing complementary foods for a small child, so I consider the combination of a double boiler and a blender in one apparatus to be ideal - it helps to save time, effort and not to stain a mountain of dishes. A huge plus is that it is possible to control the consistency itself - completely homogeneous or with pieces for an older child who is learning to chew. If you add water while chopping, the puree will become smooth more quickly, but the cooking time takes less than a minute. I added water to the meat, and vegetables and fruits turned out to be homogeneous without it. If you prepare mashed potatoes with a margin, and not at one time, it is inconvenient that you can only make 200 grams at a time. But, since this requires a minimum of labor costs, you do not need to keep track of the time, check the readiness of the products (the steamer will simply stop cooking after a sufficient amount of time), but if you just load and chop it, then it's not so scary. In general, the blender is very convenient, and not only for young mothers, it is suitable for cooking mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables and fruits, well, it is just useful as a chopper. Considering the price range for this product from other companies (which is 1.5 - 2 times higher), the purchase is simply excellent!
