Comment: I have been using these ears for almost 20 years. I bought the first ones on the old "Gorbushka", made in USA, I used them very tightly. It was impossible to get the ambushura before, the way out of the situation was: I bought the cheapest Chinese headphones with suitable foam rubber in a stall - foam rubber for Koss, China in a bucket. About 5 years ago, they all the same died - one of the speakers began to wheeze. I didn't find a worthy replacement for this money - I bought new ones. The wire on the plug has never broken, because I have know how since school: you take an ordinary fountain pen with a spring on the rod, wind the spring in the place where the plug goes into the wire, after which the wire stops bending to a break and lives for a long time and happily ... I do this to all my friends on all headphones (this is the weakest point in any ears).

Advantages: 1) Great sound. Clean, warm, nothing rattles or distorted. 2) Convenience of wearing. They sit perfectly, do not fly off, do not cause discomfort. 3) The pressure regulator on the ears :) I don't use it, but it's still an interesting thing. 4) Flimsy in appearance, but reliable in practice design. The steel headband is just wonderful. It provides a good fit and does not add much weight. 5) Add up great. 6) The set includes a case. Pleasantly. 7) More than adequate price. 8) They look uh ... Unusual, vintage. It's not dumb to walk down the street in such. 9) Works great with any device (PC, iPad 2, iPhone 4S, iPod Shuffle, Nokia 5228, Nokia C5)

Disadvantages: 1) Wire. I feel as a well-known place that after a year of use I will have to change. If anyone knows where to get a normal cable, drop me a line;) (A year has passed, the cable is holding) 2) All this foam rubber. Convenient, but I can't imagine what to do when it gets worn out. There is an idea to fit the speakers, but about the temporal pads I find it difficult. 3) For those who like to wear it around the neck: you can try, but it's uncomfortable. 4) Bringing to a combat state and folding into a case takes about 30-60 seconds. - depends on the skill. For me, it doesn't matter at all. 5) If you don't know how to put on and take off, they tear your hair. This requires a special approach. For me the issue is resolved :)

Comment: I hate plugs. Nightmare type of headphones. Therefore, I chose from invoices, but small ones. The sound was simply amazing. I can say that these headphones are the best I've heard for this price so far. I wear it practically without taking it off. And I use it with all my devices. After these ears, the sound in others seems flat, dirty, and the bass - funny. For the way they play Nirvana, Metallica, Nickelback, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, he is ready to hug the engineers and ask them for a spare foam: 3

Advantages: I support everyone who put five stars, these headphones are worthy of six or seven stars in fact! Regarding the sound - just imagine that your head is like an empty vase and through the ear holes it is completely FILLED with divine sound. I thought 60 ohms would be quiet, so even on an integrated PC sound system, the headphones sound louder than all 16 ohms earbuds I have. One and a half times louder on average.

Disadvantages: There is one drawback - they cause addiction =) If they break down, I will suffer.

Comment: It seemed to me that all the music had a kind of pleasant "volume", a sense of space. This despite the fact that I did not touch any equalizers, I just unpacked, connected, turned down the sound (loud and that's good), it stuck. This is the first time I am writing a review here, I could not help it, my ears deserve it.

Advantages: We can already say a "legendary" model. The entire sound range is well (so far new) and detailed. Almost the only model in this price range and headphone size with such good bass. Many years have passed, and a competitor has not appeared in this. Light, not felt on the head. The level of pressing force is regulated by a switch on the plastic holder. The temples extend to fit any head size. Very convenient to fold into a "ball" with a hook on the temple.

Disadvantages: A batch with bad plastic slipped through - the plastic holders in them broke, I had to glue (this, by the way, was the anniversary series "20 years of the Koss company";) - a good braided cord was finally made in it, but the plastic was terrible). In addition, the weak point is the plug and sometimes the cord itself, with frequent use and bending, the contact is broken, but this I suspect is the weak point of almost any "street" headphones. Well, the hook for folding the headphones can sometimes catch your hair (for some, this is also a drawback).

Comment: I have been using this model since 1997, changing it once a year (from frequent, like mine, daily use, the membrane sags and the middle and high ones sag quite noticeably - the headphones are enough for about a year, then it makes sense to change). As a result, a couple of dozen Porta Pros have already passed through my hands (not to be confused with the Sporta Pro - a completely different model with a much worse sound): and with the volume control on the cord (complete horror, as if resistance was added to this control, the sound is almost inaudible - immediately changed), and the anniversary series described above, and the standard ones ... Their design is simple, they can be disassembled without a screwdriver (well, except that the plug is sealed) and for people with hands it takes five minutes to fix the above-mentioned minor flaws. By the way, the last time the plug was covered, I bought plugs with a headset - I soldered them to the braids and now I have a Porta Pro with a headset ...; -p In any case, the sound crosses out these shortcomings. Highly recommend. Recently, I once again made an attempt to look for a replacement for them ... There are still no competitors (I do not like to wear large models with large studio ear pads on the street, so I did not consider this category). In general, there is nothing more to say - this is Porta Pro

Advantages: + Very lightweight, perfectly fit on the head and do not remind of themselves, the metal headrest presses the speakers well to the head, does not fly off even during training in the gym + Foldable. When not needed I put it in my pocket. It is not necessary to always wear it around the neck. In winter they are well worn on the head under the hat. + Great bass! After them, many player headphones seem to be pitiful squeaks. For heavy and dance music, this is it!

Disadvantages: - the wire is dead, it breaks in the area of ​​the plug in about six months, but with proper skill it is rather quickly and easily soldered. In the worst case, it can break at the soldering point to the speaker - I couldn't get there with a knife and a soldering iron. - it is impossible to put on with one hand, each time you need to adjust them to the size of the head - sometimes it seems that the upper frequencies of the boy are cut off

Comment: Recently my ports about completely died, I went without a doubt and bought the same. These are the best headphones for your music player.

Advantages: + they really sit comfortably on the head + sound quality is great. very cool to listen to bass songs (Dropkick Murphys, Linkin Park, Guru Josh project, etc ...). The bass just creeps to the crown if the equalizer is set correctly. + These headphones are "tough" (or rather "over the ears")). You can listen to both classics and electronics, watch movies or play on the computer ... Of course, these are far from "home" ears (not monitors), but still they are quite universal

Disadvantages: many write that the wires are prone to kink ... this is not critical. I, while they are new, carefully wrapped them with black electrical tape of layer 3 (not along the entire length of course, but only near the "ears" themselves). Now you certainly won't have to re-solder))

Comment: The choice was between the Porta Pro and the Sennheiser HD202. I chose KOSS and have no regrets!

Advantages: 1) Can be worn without taking off even the whole day. Absolutely no discomfort. 2) Of course, the sound quality is excellent. 3) Reliable design with apparent fragility. 4) Reliable thick wire. Many headphones have a sore spot - the connection of the plug to the wire. With these, I once tried to break the wire in this place out of anger, thinking that the loss of sound in the left channel is precisely for this reason. Nothing of the kind: the black insulation, of course, broke after the exerted efforts, but there each wire is in its own insulation. As a result, the headphones - whatever, but the breakdown was in the player's headphone jack.

Disadvantages: 1) A strange design, but now it has become not so much a classic, but, as it were, very recognizable. They stand out immediately. It is immediately clear that a person knows a lot about headphones. 2) Despite the reliability of the wire at the junction with the plug, the opposite end of the wire (junction with the headphones) is a little lame. I had to re-solder a couple of times in 3 years. This is done easily and they serve for a long time after that. 3) After 2 years of operation, the black plug rattled (under the pad). Corrected by gluing with a sealant. 4) After the 4th year of careful use, the pads became unusable. Spare to order too lazy. I gave it to my younger brother, and he sewed new ones from microfiber (a cloth for cleaning the monitor) - now these are excellent home headphones for his laptop.

Comment: I advised all my friends. But their operating experience is slightly different from mine. Due to extreme exploitation, the pillows of the first friend burst six months later. At the second, the plugs also rattled somewhere in 5-6 months. I do not know. If you do not use it at full volume and do not carry it in a backpack mixed with the rest of the trash, it may last for a long time. This is their story.

Advantages: The best model for your money. The sound is great. Other headphones, if you press them closer to the ears, the sound and bass are amplified, and if you do the same with these headphones, then no amplification occurs - everything is always playing at its best.When folded, they fit in the palm of your hand - an indispensable thing when traveling. I have it lying around in my bag when necessary - took it out, opened it, listen. Strong enough - dropped, tugged many times, including in transport - no complaints. A huge plus - the pads above the ears - the ears do not get tired - they can be used, for example, to watch movies in silence - you can set it up so that the head and ears do not feel these headphones and do not get tired!

Disadvantages: no flaws. The only thing that in winter you have to put on a hat, or wear other headphones, because the head is cold. But this is a drawback of all headphones of this format.

Comment: What can I say if you constantly see these headphones with other people. Sometimes you go to the subway and notice that there are 4 people around you and everyone with such ears)))

Advantages: Just great sound. The entire frequency range, even low frequencies at the limit of the audible range. Good balance with bass, at low volumes the level of low frequencies does not change, like Bass Boost. Clear sounding of all instruments, I heard even new ones that I had not heard before. Folds up into a very compact lump. Comfortable headband, I wear it under a hat with ears in winter.

Disadvantages: I haven't found them for myself. The headphones are worked out to the smallest detail. Thanks to KOSS.

Everything worked great! But not even a week has passed, the left earpiece has already stopped working (carried out the same procedure) - now everything is gorgeous!)
