Advantages: 1. Excellent and perfectly discernible bass throughout the lower range. 2. High visibility / readability of tools (aka transparency, but I hate this term). 3. Incredible bulging of any jambs of sound.
Disadvantages: Some frequency sticks out at the top, somewhere from 4 to 7 kHz. It can give an acidic tint to some instruments. Getting used to it, you will learn to take this nuance into account when mixing.
Comment: 1. I will not describe again what has already been said about these excellent headphones, but I will add this: if there is a jamb in the mix that is not audible on anything, then these headphones will show it. If you made a recording in a studio, and in a building across the street behind a wall, a mouse flicked, you will hear it. These headphones will amplify any jamb of sound many times and will present you on a silver platter, even the most cleaned vinyl will have a natural noise for it, which you have not heard before even on expensive monitors. 2. If you get a good sound on the 7506 when mixing, it will sound good anywhere. I left the external speaker only for panning and control of instrument levels. All frequency work can be safely done on headphones (but there is a nuance - about him in the shortcomings). 3. The lowest sine bass is heard. Listen to some late 90s jungle - hear how it played with new colors.

Advantages: I work in sound recording for TV programs. I tried different ears: buyers, zennas, akgs ... Nothing was as good and comfortable to work with as Sony 7506. Optimal resistance and sensitivity, quite even and very detailed, fit comfortably on your head, you don't get tired of them during long work ... Ideal for working with sound, especially if you work in a TV studio and at different concert venues. I have been using them for several years now and I have no thoughts to switch to something else. Now I'm waiting for them from the States for myself, for home, 2500 rubles is obtained.
Disadvantages: It is difficult to talk about their shortcomings. Against the background of advantages, all disadvantages are lost. It would be more correct to say that they are so insignificant that one can ignore them. Of these more obvious ones, I could single out that the frequency in the middle is slightly raised, but again, it's not at all critical. Basically, this is even a plus when working in a noisy place, for example. Well, the most unpleasant drawback is the price. Well, they are too expensive in our country. Okay, there is a thousand more expensive than in the West and in America, but not 4-5 thousand. In my opinion, this is too much.
Comment: I highly recommend using it. It is clear what the taste and color ... But nevertheless. They are, if not the best, then some of the best that really deserve high praise. )

Advantages: "The best mixing and mastering headphones for the money." "Some of the flattest ears on the planet" (Speech about the frequency response). Works much better with sub (10-50 HZ) than the more expensive Sony mdr 7509
Disadvantages: There is a subtle unevenness of the frequency response at the top, but this is a trifle.
Comment: If stolen, I would buy another one of the same

Advantages: The main advantage is not being killed. I have been using it for 8 years. Over the years, the skin from the ear pads has only peeled off, and I can not buy new ones anywhere (((And it is worth mentioning the sound quality separately, all the smallest details are heard, which is very necessary when mixing a track.
Disadvantages: The headband has weakened over 8 years, if you tilt your head, it falls off.

Advantages: Very high quality sound. Omnivores. I really like how the bass easily press on the ears - it's nice.
Disadvantages: The pads are quickly erased, the skin crumbles on them - but it is fixable to buy spare.
Comment: I gave 4602 rubles for them. I do not regret a bit. First used at work now bought home.

Advantages: Good sounding, all, or almost all, nuances are conveyed in detail. Workmanship.
Disadvantages: The stickers "professional" were glued crookedly, however, this is a trifle, which is quite common nowadays. But I got pretty nervous thinking I had bought fake headphones.
Comment: Glad my choice.

Advantages: Excellent detail. They behave amazingly on vocals.
Disadvantages: Tops up. The ambushyurs would be bigger.
Comment: I took these ears, made in Thailand. SONY MDR-7506/1 model. At first, I was struck by a very very loud sound. Excellent detail. Heard a lot of new things in old tracks. Grieved poking tops, even in firm tracks. Sibilants whistle. I suspect that this is a feature of the Thai assembly. I did not listen to Japanese, there is nothing to compare with. Owners of the original version, please respond! After a week of warming up, it seemed to sound softer. On recording vocals are great! No need for any equalizers on the voice. The buzz is complete.

Advantages: light weight, dimensions fold in half, the bag included a very solid wire and the connector, of course, sound! good sound insulation from external noise
Disadvantages: strong pressure of ambrashurs, after 9 hours he began to get tired, but not from the sound, he is at a height
Comment: I liked the solid performance of the product, a schematic diagram for the repair was drawn how to disassemble and assemble with a catalog of spare parts; the sound is such that you want to listen and listen, indiscriminately everything. I really liked the sound of the piano, saxaphone - classical music, jazz, vocals, listening is a pleasure. According to the characteristics of the sound, I can say that it was really chosen very well, the headphones turned out to be "omnivorous", the vocal area is bright but does not cut the ear, the bottom is very beautiful with a very elastic attack, the top is clean, balanced; the overall picture is soft, because of this, the scene is a little lost. The first headphones with which I turned off all the "uluchshayzers" and equalizers in turn. There is only one minus of such perfect products - any jambs of the recording are too audible. You can use the smartphone tested on HTC HD2, the sound is very decent, I thought it would not shake it, but everything is fine.

Advantages: Sound fidelity, detailing, flat frequency response, comfortable sound insulation, optimal, in my ,v сочетаниеz̶g̶l̶ya̶d̶ hearing, a combination of resistance and sensitivity, compactness when folded.
Disadvantages: The ear pads lasted less than a year, although the headphones went out to the shooting, during this time, only a couple of times.
Comment: I use these headphones for video editing. I am absolutely sure that in terms of price / quality ratio, Sony MDR - 7506 still has no competitors! Believe me, I have something to compare with. Well, for example, "BD" DT 48 is not as much better as it is more expensive ...)))

Advantages: 1. Great appearance. 2. Perfect workmanship and cool materials. 3. Eternal construction. 4. Detailed, real, high-quality sound. 5. Reasonable price. 6. Suitable for both writing and mixing music. 7. Very comfortable.
Disadvantages: 1. Protruding wires over the showerheads - it looks impressive, but requires increased caution. 2. Lovers of strong, "monster" bass can be disappointed - the sound plays unadorned. 3. Availability and price in Russia, many fakes.
Comment: Live classics from Sony, the faithful instrument of many sound engineers, musicians and DJs. Perhaps these are your headphones for the next 10-15 years, so sturdy construction and good sound.
