Advantages: My work is directly related to the use of this machine, for four years 5 days a week I have been grinding it. During this period, I changed the brushes 4 times and the carbon sole 2 times, these operations were not difficult.
Disadvantages: A feature of the work is grinding hard wood: ash, oak, hornbeam, so the cost of the original tape was a disadvantage for my manager. Now we are using a tape that is slightly inferior in quality to the original, but very advantageous in price.

Advantages: Convenient, adjustment of rotation, stabilization of the position of the belt, can be used while standing on the floor.
Disadvantages: The bag for collecting dust is poorly adhered to the branch pipe, sometimes it jumps off. (Often)
Comment: Instead of a graphite sole, which quickly wore off, I cut out a plate of the same shape from galvanized steel and put it on. The result is the same.

Advantages: Great machine, sands the surface perfectly and quickly. With their mass, the hands do not have time to get tired before the work is done.
Disadvantages: If only, the high cost and exotic consumables (sanding belt and sole). It is very difficult to buy a tape smaller than 180. But with all that, the makita is worth it.
Comment: He used to work with a cheap Skilovka and expensive Boshevsky grinder, not at all. A tape size of 100 by 610 is much more efficient.

Advantages: excellent performance (I used to work with a more compact dummy 9911 friend), comfortable, my wife surprisingly works with pleasure even more often than me (not a sumo wrestler, 60 kilos of net weight, only trays grind boards))), the ability to turn over and use as a sharpener without any additional accessories, long flexible quality cord
Disadvantages: there is nothing to complain about, except that the tape is really harder to find ...
Comment: since we work mainly in air, we do not use a collection bag

Advantages: good performance, a small amount of dust gets past the bag, no problems when working with inexpensive non-original belts
Disadvantages: a decent weight for me
Comment: I took it for the floor, so I chose a heavier model, but the floor is still not its territory, boards, beams, countertops, doors, it is quick and efficient, and I felt the only drawback in full measure now, I am grinding the porch to update the coating before winter, so here 5-7 minutes with a machine above your head when grinding racks and shoulders just poured lactic acid, but otherwise, a decent device. A year and a half: so much polished in the house (and floors too), works great.Graphite and cork are practically worn out. No complaints about reliability and quality.

Advantages: Build Japan! High quality, pleasant tactile sensations.
Disadvantages: Expensive thin section. tape on it, well, a little heavy
Comment: The machine for "all life" - I think there will be more children. I am planning to make a structure for stationary use. I recommend everything to her if the funds allow you to buy now.

Advantages: Powerful, quiet, long cord, adjustable speed. Almost all sawdust falls into the bag. A vacuum cleaner is not needed.
Disadvantages: No case. Only one tape is included in the set (sorry). Expensive. It is certainly difficult to grind vertical planes for it. On the floors in the corners of the wall, do not grind the dead zone. The graphite-cork sole will wear off over time. I have not met this technology on others.
Comment: I bought it for sanding plywood for laying parquet and solid wood. It copes with its task well. A little gaping with a 40-vka eats in. Very satisfied. There are no options for choosing among firms for this power and the expansion of the tape. Do not roam. Only Hammer and like Interskol. Stopped at Makita.
