1. Delightful feeling of almost complete absence of vibration when drilling in bumpless mode both in wood and steel with aluminum (I used Bosha and Interskol, oddly enough, the kilowatt Interskol is quite good, but still no comparison with Makita); 2. Convenient case; 3. Quite low price; 4. Finnish assembly; 5. The key chuck is gorgeous compared to the standard Chinese chuck on any Enkors and other Bison - the key is larger and the shape of the teeth is different, the jaws hold small drills remarkably (from 1.5 mm); 6. Correct reverse with movement of brushes in the body.

Advantages: Switch between modes Reverse switch Weight Ergonomics Options Cartridge for 13 Not a bad kick function. Power is sufficient
Disadvantages: I didn't understand why the case was done this way. Looks like it's fake ...
Comment: I'll start with the shortcomings. Case - My God. Well, how is that !? The first purchase was a screwdriver a few years ago. Keyes was particularly delighted. And what do I see after these years? Craft in the style of "Tyaplap, Bai Lao Tzu incolpoleited" The lid wobbles, the latches seem to be not from him .... With an absolutely symmetrical locking system, the case from my jigsaw, by the way, is identical in size - it is much more accurately fitted and there are no backlashes! I thought that from the side it would be impossible to distinguish - and figs to you - by the gap and the ebb on the side - I know for sure that this one on the shelf is a jigsaw, and this drill .... Further on good. 1. Reverse switch. I chose the Internet for a long time. Then, after all, I had to go to the store, hold it in my hands, see the differences with other models. For me, the switch above the trigger, such a flimsy lever, is a breakdown of the first months. Okay. Broke - then what? Here ... In short, on the body - this is in pluses 2. More or less balanced instrument. Unlike other drills I have worked with - the best. It is convenient to hold. Ergonomics, too, does not bother. You won't touch anything superfluous, nothing will jump by itself - in general, everything is fine. At work, too, everything is thought out. In hammer drill mode, the hand does not accept any colossal vibrations. 3. Power was enough for metal 8 in excess and unlimited - wood. (Of course, I have not drilled 50 feathers into oak yet, but 40 pine is easy) 4. Impact function - 5 ++. He drills fairly strong plaster and sand-lime brick as it should. And now about the controversial points. He is alone, in my case. Speed control. There is no mechanical adjustment on this series of drills. It is carried out by pressing the trigger. In my case, it's not a flaw at all. It's more comfortable for me. But, I know that some people need to turn the wheel and set the frequency separately. Here they will be disappointed. In particular, for example, if you use a drill in a vertical drilling attachment, there will always be maximum revolutions.

Advantages: Makita is a professional tool, hence the acceptable reliability even on frankly budget models. Good price-quality ratio, engine, switches are quite reliable. Drilled a lot -Drills for 13 -Normul, Knead the glue with a large kneader (work for a powerful punch) -I got it right, though it started to stink.
Disadvantages: at work 3pcs everyone has the same Chuck - with new beating on the shaft poor alignment (- it is inconvenient to drill with long thin drills, so check in the store, after heavy professional use -1.5 years began to have a snack - the result is a replacement with a quick-release
Comment: For this price, a good drill (when compared with the Metabo SBE 60 (took it home), then of course it is much inferior, where Liao to Deutsche Fritz) Drill the most, but over time you will have to change the chuck. 5.5 * 35) We use Makita at work, different tools, grinders, drills, shura akk and wire, cut-off saws, circulars - so the tool honestly works from 2 seasons to minor repairs (wires, brushes, cartridges)

Advantages: I needed a gift for my friend for his birthday. By prior arrangement, I selected this option for him. Easy to operate (although such models are all simple), POWERFUL (incomparable strength), and only a cam chuck for an impact drill !!! Perfectly! The ergonomics of the device, as well as of all Makita equipment, are at their best.
Disadvantages: They simply do not exist, not because they have recently been using them, but because ...
Comment: Because the hammer drill was selected according to the parameters that are necessary for the consumer. And these parameters match all requests.

Advantages: Price-quality ratio is adequate
Disadvantages: I haven't noticed any yet
Comment: In work, it fully justifies its price; during work, the weight of the drill does not cause discomfort. It gets a little hot with longer use.

Advantages: Despite the external resemblance to a household tool (all-plastic body and modest dimensions) the Makita HP 1640 K hammer drill is, in fact, a true “professional” with proper performance.
Disadvantages: Not found.
Comment: The model is equipped with a sufficiently powerful motor (680 W), which provides an outstanding performance of this tool. Along with similar "heavyweights", the little Makita HP 1640 K is able to work a full shift with regular short breaks every 40-45 minutes. This model is characterized by two operating modes - clean drilling and hammer drilling - thanks to which it can be used to drill wood, metal, plastic, as well as lightweight concrete and masonry. Lightweight and reversible make the Makita HP 1640 K hammer drill suitable for rough work with fasteners. The innovative design of the reversing system, implemented in this model, provides the same torque for both forward and reverse rotation of the spindle. In addition, such a design significantly increases the resource of carbon brushes, and the availability of the brush assembly allows them to be replaced without opening the case. The hammer mechanism of the Makita HP 1640 K drill is made of wear-resistant material and is characterized by increased durability. After some time, it becomes clear that it was possible to pay another 150 rubles and buy a model with the letter F, that is, backlit is very convenient!

Advantages: Great tool. The chuck is well made; it was a headache on a previous drill from another manufacturer.
Disadvantages: A bit indistinct shock mode of operation, rather weak in my opinion. But a drill, on the other hand, doesn't tear apart.
Comment: The case certainly disappointed. it was easier not to do it at all. Even the drill itself is difficult to put there ...
