Advantages:
Build quality, reliability, and everyone knows that the grater is a legend.
Disadvantages:
If you often pull out the batteries, the contacts on the hold-down cover are bent, and it can start to glitch. It can be solved in a second with a fingernail or a screwdriver, in general it can hardly be called a disadvantage. The standard coil is protected from moisture but not from water, you cannot shove it under water!
Comment:
I bought it for a hobby, a detector that I need! For the hobby is the very thing! It differs little from the 705, the detection depth is the same. The price is in the middle between budget and expensive. Personally, I'm not overjoyed, the choice was between the XP ORX and the 505th grater, I chose the grater only because of its reliability (a model proven over the years) and batteries, I didn't want to take a detector on Akumm ... what to choose.

Advantages:
Easy to set up, nice display, many modes of discrimination.
Disadvantages:
There are still a few annoying little things. First, the plastic coil bolt. The thread is erased is elementary. And you can't buy a new one everywhere. More. Block mounting bolt. You screw it on and off every time. Then he lost, and everything is fine without him. Why was he at all?)

For me, a wonderful MD. Dug with him throughout the district quite effectively. Chuika is good, the adjustment is at the level. Sometimes, however, he offers to dig a kitchen ladle, assuring that there is Katka's penny.))) And in general, he is not indifferent to round objects and cognac corks - he consistently shows a high figure. But I try to go where they didn't drink cognac. Of the shortcomings, I note the weight. 1.3 is kind of a little, but on a long barbell length after a long search, the back falls off! For the sake of experiment, I once planted a coil on a dried hogweed stalk - it worked out fine!) Why such a rod for a light coil is unclear. Plastic would have held up too. In general, I recommend it. Just don't buy a Goliath coil for it - it's really an ambush! All NHNCH!)

Advantages: The depth is not inferior to the older brother 705 grater. Functional, simple .. Disadvantages: There are configurations with a mono coil of 9 inches, this coil is rather weak. 10.5 dd is what you need. Good metal detector.
