All the difference between Eurotek and Eurotek Pro metal detectors will consist in the search coil, pin-point function and the additional ability to add / subtract the speaker sound. ALL! The search coil is larger and in a different format. New spool size 11 ''. Many devices from Fisher and Teknetics are equipped with the same coil, in Bounty Hunter there is only one device (Land Ranger Pro). Due to the fact that it is larger in comparison with the eight-inch coil, the finds will be found deeper (the same rule for everyone: the larger the coil - the deeper the search, the small coils do not catch unnecessary targets in trashy areas, but the depth is also shallower). But still not the limit of dreams and possibilities. Coil format DD (Eurotek has a Mono coil without the Pro attachment). What does it do? Mono and DD coils differ from each other in the electromagnetic field, which they themselves create. In Mono it is conical, in DD it is blade-shaped. The mono coil needs to be carried out more often, because at a depth it "catches" targets only with the very tip, while DD can be carried out less often, which means more steps and faster "knock out" the place. At the same time, the electromagnetic field of the DD-coils is narrower (emphasis on "y"), and therefore it is better tuned to the ground (provided that there is such a tuning) and gives a very small advantage in trash. Mono coils are much better at looking for the center of the target - it will be exactly in the center of the coil (for DD coils, it will show along the entire "blade" of the electromagnetic field, and here they use the "criss-cross" technique). Moreover - with equal coil sizes !!! - Mono with the very tip will search deeper than DD, but again with this tip you still need to catch the target. Anyway, DD coils are considered better, but not much. An interesting fact remains that the coils are not interchangeable between Eurotek and Eurotek Pro. The point is in the connector to the control unit. In Eurotek Pro, it is a "new" phisher, that is, with a nut for fixing and opposite (relative to the Eurotek connector) arrangement of pins and holes - "male" on the block, "female" on the wire connector.

The sound volume control function makes it possible to adjust from 0 to 20. That is, the sound can be turned off altogether or adjusted for yourself in a fairly wide range. This is undoubtedly a big plus.

An equally great advantage will be the presence of the "pin-point" function - the exact location of the position of the found target.But with a DD coil, everything is not so simple, you have to use the "cross-to-cross" method: we move the coil from right to left or left to right until you hear a characteristic sound and it does not rise to its maximum, remember the place, turn the coil 90 degrees and we do it ourselves, we dig at the crosshairs. It will be more difficult to determine the dimensions along the contour than with the Mono coil, but nevertheless, there is a possibility.

All settings made can be saved by pressing and holding the "Menu" button for 8 seconds.

All these differences at the time of writing this review will cost 9300 rubles. In my opinion, this is too much for such small changes. I would have understood it if only ground balancing had been added. And so, the price is in the region of 16-17 thousand rubles. But this is purely my personal opinion.

Oh yes, the color scheme of the front panel has also changed from green to crimson =)

It is practically not subject to repair since the model is outdated, I have been waiting for LCD replacement for 6 months already, they say there is not even at the factory, but they promise to repair it in the near future, well, at least they do not refuse, I call every month.
