Advantages:

design, ensures the safe operation of electrical appliances

Disadvantages:

No protective shutter, heats up a little

Comment:

In 2013, the Pilot Single surge protector from the well-known company ZIS was purchased. During a thunderstorm, a lightning strike hit the electrical wires, and since the house is without grounding, the functional block of the gas boiler broke through. The boiler had to be changed, and in the future we had to think over protection against power surges and lightning discharges for electrical appliances in the house.

The choice was settled on the Pilot Single with 1 socket (euro) and grounding function.

The body is made of durable white plastic, width size 7 cm, height 11 cm, depth 6 cm

Light indexing reflects operation at mains voltage:

~ 220 / 230V - green light, above 220 / 230V - red light, below 220 / 230V - yellow light

Voltage ~ 220 / 230V

Maximum load current 16 A

Current oscillation frequency 50/60 Hz

CE mark (quality, safety for the consumer)

Since power outages periodically occur, I can safely state that the device copes well with the declared automatic protection against voltage surges: in case of voltage surges, it automatically disconnects from the power supply, and after the voltage is restored in the network, it automatically connects power to electrical appliances.
There is a surge protector that can be turned on for kitchen appliances if necessary. We first bought 3 pieces for 1100 rubles, and a little later we bought 4 more pieces at a price of just over 900 rubles. If desired, it is easy to take along with a laptop. A very necessary and useful device.

Advantages:

Many advanced systems of protection against various interference in the network, indication.

Disadvantages:

The flimsy plastic also heats up a little.

Comment:

This is one of the flagship models of the Pilot campaign surge protectors, and is crammed with electronics for no pampering. I took it to protect the router from voltage surges and for two years now it has been doing excellently. Outwardly, the surge protector looks pretty decent, white plastic with a logo, model name, indicators.
It has two diagnostic indicators, for a working ground, and for voltage drops. The socket is standard euro with grounding, respectively.
The filter allows the use of 16 A, which allows it to be used with large household appliances with high energy consumption, up to 3600 kW. But I would not do this, since even with a router (which consumes a penny) the surge protector itself heats up. Above, you can observe the ventilation gaps, but they do not save much. The plastic of the device itself is rather thin (economy) and the body is made with a sandwich holding on to one latch and one screw.
I also pleased with the high-frequency interference filter (three red cubes on top), although it is made very simply of just three capacitors. But it is more difficult to fit into such a baby. But protection against impulse noise (blue part at the top left) could be made from three varistors and not one. It will turn out again like pilot bit s grounding is not fully used. From the protection you can also see the thermistor next to the varistor and the fuse. This is a real surge protector that really protects against various kinds of network noise. Extension cords with a shutdown button were not lying next to him. But this surge protector also costs a lot of money. I took it for 1,790 rubles, but now it can be found for 1,200. It's even a little offensive. I think that it is well suited for digital technology, I would be afraid to put it on household appliances, as it gets warm.

Advantages:

The filter works, removes interference accurately. Assembled with high quality. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Disadvantages:

Didn't see it except for the price.

Comment:

On the 22-inch kitchen TV, interference began to appear, gradually, they did not pay attention. Yesterday it got to the point that only interference was visible. I decided to order this surge protector, to be honest I was sure that it would not help, but decided to try it. Today I took him and once into battle. Lo and behold, everything is over, I don't remember when the TV showed so cleanly.

Advantages:

Apart from the rest, the indicator is ground.
Alas, neither APC nor MOST have full-fledged analogues.

Disadvantages:

Price tag.
Start time. (besides electronics, I assume the POST program)

Comment:

For people sticking irons-kettles-heaters into such devices, there are no words other than mat.
This thing is for protecting electronics. Typical household representatives of a washing machine, dishwasher.
Although I myself often use it just to check the ground.
