I bought a hard drive in 2014-2015. How many things did not load into it, and deleted accordingly. Works to this day. There were not big problems, sometimes I left the USB port on the computer. But it got better by overturning him. Of course, I recommend taking a large volume. For it can run into a lack of memory. Again, depending on what purpose you take :)

Advantages:
First time bought Seagate and very happy with purchase. I used to have a toshiba for 2TB and was very upset with the purchase, it broke down right away, you shouldn't chase after gigabytes, this is not quite the main thing. The main thing is to choose a good company for these HDDs and watch the reviews. So, the file transfer speed is about 20 mb / s (personally for me for large volumes of transfer), I was pleased that it is fast and nimble, in general, for USB 3.0. Works smoothly. In general, who needs a nimble and fast HDD, especially from Seagate, then I recommend it, not quite a lot of money and simplicity, I recommend it.
Disadvantages:
The first I will write about the shortcomings, namely, I did not find them. Well, except that it heats up, but this is not a drawback, but normal for many HDDs, so there is no bad :)

I bought to replace Transcend, which served 5 years. Compared to its predecessor, the Seagate STEA500400 is faster, lighter and more convenient. Several months in operation - the input power connector inside the disk became loose and began to come out. How long a disk with such a connector will last is not known. But the manufacturer for such a jamb is a two! Could have fixed the element better.
