Advantages:
It is very strange that the cost of a disk in a plastic box, with a SATA adapter, power supply for it is cheaper than the same, but without all of the above (the cost of ST6000DM003 - 10,500 rubles, STEL6000200 - 8,500 rubles at the end of September 2019) Excellent disk, works for more than a year 24/7 so far without any complaints, the speed is certainly not ice, but for the storage - that's it! Temperature 38-42 degrees in idle (without turning off the disk in the power supply), without blowing in the system unit at room temperature.
Disadvantages:
If you download it in full (torrent, 4k, update, and a bunch of other things) - sometimes it falls down on the average response time, starts to dull. But this is rare.

Advantages:
1. Quiet (it works much quieter than regular drives of a "big computer". 2. Easy to turn on, easy to identify, in a day and a half of the download never fell off :) 3. The presence of two USB connectors greatly simplifies the transfer of data from other external drives. 4. Sufficiently compact. Stands firmly on the table and takes up relatively little space.
Disadvantages:
When copying data from a "large computer" to it, the transfer rate turns out to be one and a half times higher than when copying from an external disk directly connected to it. That is, the data is clearly not going directly. but through the "big computer". However, it may be Windows cant, not the drive itself.
Comment:
Excellent high-volume disc. I wish I took it earlier.

Advantages:
I was looking for an internal 3.5 hdd, but I could not find anything better. in the same money you can probably take Toshiba, but there reviews on the quality are worse. here he also comes across, but in general, many are satisfied. I liked the hub on yuzb 3.0 - you can stick in other external 2.5, for example, or anything in general (I stuck an external one for 1tb).
Disadvantages:
speed. I may be doing something wrong, but I have a maximum of 27MB / sec when copying large files. the cable from the railway was connected to the usb 3.1 on the back of the pc. and also the temperature - after the purchase, it began to release the hard drives in the pc - about 2tb in the transfer tasks in total - the temperature rose to 56 degrees.urgently put two 90mm fans blowing the case overnight - it dropped to 38.

I am not sure, let see what will happen. I took it for the file wash. I would like to raise the speed somehow, because according to other reviews, people have speeds up to 100mb / sec. because copying 2TB of data a day and even at its temperatures is not very good. without blowing would not risk loading such a task.

Advantages:
The price per gigabyte is excellent. Two additional USB connectors. Not noisy. Speed up to 110Mb / s when copying. The 2013 smart TV did not connect. I broke it into 3 sections of 2.2.1.5 TB each and connected it to the router - it became visible on the TV (hurray!).

I thought for the editing itself I would pull the materials onto the internal hard drives, but I didn't have to do this - the speed is quite enough for editing material with a bitrate of 20-40 Mbps, I haven't tried it yet. On the forty, I periodically ran into the fact that the material did not have time to be loaded, but the delays are not critical. But in disks, of course, the main thing is reliability in time. I bought it in February 2018. Copying speed in Total Commander for large files reaches up to 100 mb / sec. I would like to use this disk in Windows XP, I don't have much liking for Win 7 and 10. Although they work, of course, they are faster and the fact that you can put a lot more memory is a big plus. More details about connecting this disk in Windows XP wrote in the "Discussions" section
