Advantages:
variable focal length, which is unusual for a fish eye, aperture, wide angle, nice rounding around the edges, sharpness, built-in lens hood, compactness, light weight
Disadvantages:
finding it in Moscow is almost impossible
Comment:
I have been looking for this lens for a long time, went to all the shops, and could only buy a used one. lens. For 7 months of use I can not tear myself away from it! This is a gorgeous lens in every sense! Not only is it sharp, it's also a zoom. It fits into the frame much more than the width of the Canon 10-22 or 10-20 sigma. Ideal for shooting in tight and confined spaces. However, it should be borne in mind that not everyone will like rounded edges, sometimes this gives a certain frivolity to the picture. In this case, go from 10 mm to 17 mm and you will be happy :) My verdict is this: this is one of the best fishies, if you find it, then take it without hesitation

Advantages:
Small and light with a solid Tokin construction. Autofocus, variable FR. Separate respect: you can use it on FF (you get a wonderful diagonal fish-eye in the range of 15-17 mm).
Disadvantages:
The molded hood in the case is more of a bug than a feature. Apparently made only for attaching a nice cover. If it were not for the hood - then on the FF it could be used from 10 mm as an almost full circular - it could be useful.
Comment:
The declared minimum focusing distance is 140 mm (from the matrix). In reality, the minimum distance from the front edge of the lens is about 4 cm. Wide angle / fisheye macro is excellent. It is here, oh, how autofocus is needed :) As for the picture: HA is not striking (there is a little on the open periphery, but where without it?). Sharp enough at F3.5 (actually). Colors: normal and dark areas are almost indistinguishable from Nikkor's ones, but in overexposures there is a purple tint - in principle, it does not cause negative emotions, it just looks unusual after Nikon's glasses. Total: glass remarkable in its versatility, design and ergonomics with excellent picture quality. Macro with AF as a bonus. If not for the lid, the hood could have been cut off. Ps. I have D700 and D90. I will leave the lens on the crop - it is "dearer" to him :)

Advantages:
I liked that there is a zoom. You can change the focal length on the spot. It has a minimum focal length of 8mm, which allows you to get quite fisheye 12mm on the crop. For comparison, a fisheye lens 16mm (like a Zenitar), on the crop has no longer a fisheye 24mm, becoming, in fact, wide. And here you can vary all these focal lengths. Before that, I used Samyang. It was a heavy, large lens. On the manual. This one is lightweight and compact compared to it.It has autofocus, which pleases when shooting, although autofocus is not so fundamental for a fishay, and it is easier to hit than to miss.
Disadvantages:
There are three of them: 1. There is no diaphragm ring on the body. So for those who like to transfer lenses to non-native cameras through adapters, it will not work, and you cannot take pictures on the manual. 2. Lens for crop only. He will not grow up, so when you switch to FF you will have to part with him. 3. Well, if you take Nikon's crops, then it will only fit cameras with a screwdriver: D90, D300, D7000.
Comment:
I am satisfied with the purchase. It suits everyone.

Advantages:
Pts funny veschitsa, great picture on d5100, no circles, dark edges, etc. crap. built-in hood, metal body, Japanese, everything is tactile smoothly, pleasantly rubberized.
Disadvantages:
I'm afraid for the lens, it sticks out, but I can't go anywhere.
Comment:
There is a fantasy - I think it's worth buying.

Advantages:
1) With 14mm, you can use it on full-frame bodies, and if you cut off the hood or take the version without the hood, then you can use it with 10mm on the FF! 2) Autofocus! Third-party manufacturers mainly offer manual focus fisheies. 3) The price is lower than that of the native 10.5 / 2.8 DX At this price, it makes no sense to buy a native fish! 4) Compact. Cropped zoom-widths will be larger. 5) Zoom. This is the world's only zoom fish!
Disadvantages:
1) Terrible chromatite! 2) Cover without the ability to insert the lace. 3) It is necessary to have the skill of shooting fish, not every plot is suitable for him. 4) There is no way to protect the front glass with a filter. 5) No aperture ring - difficult to use on mirrorless cameras 6) Suitable only for cameras with a screwdriver, the rest will have to be focused manually.
Comment:
It is said to be the favorite lens of underwater photographers. Interestingly, some people also use it on mirrorless cameras so as not to spend money on expensive ultra-wide cameras. Perhaps now it makes sense to look at mirrorless cameras, with fishies already under them, even if they are manual ones. Pictures from him: http://vit-1.livejournal.com/tag/tokina%2010-17%2F3.5-4.5
