Advantages:
I liked everything except autonomy (more on that below). Dual focus and stabilization is a plague! It seems that from year to year everything is the same, but the 650D sits much better in the hand + all keys are pressed softer, smoother chtoli. The mode dial has already become metal. Wireless communications appeared, but the battery remained the same in capacity :) I really liked the TimeLaps mode and the display of the gyroscope on the screen. The screen is very juicy and can be seen at any brightness.
Disadvantages:
When WiFI is turned on and the photo is transferred to the phone, it discharges right before our eyes, 2 divisions of the battery flew away in 15 minutes. T-technologies. The battery of a new sample, from 500-550-650 is not suitable. The battery has a chip, Chinese counterparts for 400r work but do not display the percentage of charge in the camera. They are always supposedly discharged and the light is blinking. Charging heats up just wildly, do not touch, but it charges in about an hour. Plastic has become, as it were, cheaper to the touch.If the 500D had the feeling that it would turn on after a fall and nothing would happen, then this has the feeling that after the fall it will have to go for a new one)

I have experience with Canon 500d, Canon 650d cameras. 49 biting points and double stabilization are a bombshell. Of the 140 shots I took immediately after purchase, all shots are clear and in focus. With the same lens, the picture is much richer and brighter than the 650D.

I bought it as the first good camera for doing photography for the soul. I liked the fairly clear menu, the ability to use both a simplified interface with prompts, and the ability to switch to the classic "dry" interface. Pleases the ability to display the electronic level. Convenient swivel screen. Canon Camera Connection is a great app. Anywhere you can transfer images to your smartphone and instantly edit / publish / send to friends.

Advantages:
Excellent Autofocus with Dual Pixel technology, allowing you to shoot videos without even thinking about whether the camera is focusing on you or not. 45 AF points in photography make this DSLR the best camera for the budding photographer! The camera holds ISO perfectly, noticeable noises come out only above ISO: 6200. During shooting, you can observe the level of the camera tilt.
Disadvantages:
There is no backlight for shooting in the dark, a weak battery, batteries from Aliexpress are not displayed with the battery level. No white balance setting in Kelvin.

Not the topic of this camera, I shot a separate review on my channel, it impressed me so much. Yes, I do think the Canon 800D is by far the best choice for the aspiring photographer today, even though Canon's white balance setting has been pared down and there is no Kelvin temperature setting, but this entry-level DSLR can do a lot if to master it and study it thoroughly, it has the potential of a professional camera, which will give a novice photographer an impetus for growth. The original Canon has almost no marriages. Beware of gray cameras, there are many marriages in them. I was especially surprised by the photo warehouse, so many advertisements, and almost all (if not all) products are gray.

The camera is good, but it's hard to evaluate objectively because I have the first mirrors. The quality of shooting in a dark place, the quality of the video, the ease of use is excellent. Convenient and intuitive interface, the rotary screen helps out, it is convenient to hold.
Disadvantages:
The lens cap does not hold on to the standard 18-55 included, poor cap lock. The mode dial is extremely unstable and you suddenly discover that it has somehow switched to another mode without your knowledge from accidental grazing. I would like a quick detachable strap ... This can be done if you approach the issue of loop design correctly. Inconvenient location of the "video" key, you waste time while poking into it ...
