Opinions from the Fujifilm X-T100 Kit

Advantages: Price! in my opinion the best price / quality ratio files are easily processed in lightroom. 180 degree rotatable screen Gestures (swipe) are programmed as function buttons and you do not need to use the menu Battery life large enough Bluetooth
Disadvantages: Tracking autofocus is not the best. All the same, it only works if objects move past you. But the single one works really well! 4K video is not very working Minimum ISO 400
Comment: Honestly, when I took the camera, I didn’t count on something very big, I didn’t think that I would use it for myself, but leave it for the students of our photography school, but I really liked it. And now she is always in a backpack. The camera works well with compact lenses. I started using it most often with the lens 35 2. I am attaching photos after 1.5 months of use

Advantages: Touch monitor with a new pivot design. It not only tilts without turning (as in rotary monitors), but also rotates into a "selfie position" (as in the same rotary monitors). Very comfortably. Viewfinder from FUJIFILM X-T20 - X-E3 (uncut, exactly the same). Electronic stabilization on the matrix when recording video. The video itself is noticeably better than that of all junior FUJIFILM cameras. Time-lapses with electronic shutter and subsequent assembly in 4K video. (almost infinite shutter resource when recording time-lapses) Very convenient control, both for beginners and advanced users. The whale folding lens is the best in the class (I use analogs from Olympus and SONY). A big bonus in the lens is a two-speed motorized zoom drive, which is convenient for video shooting. The lens itself is very sharp for its class. Face tracking is very good for cameras of this class. And the main thing is finally a hybrid phase-contrast autofocus with 91 phase focusing points. Focusing - in fact, has become the same as on older cameras of the family. Well .. a little slower because of the simpler (as I understand it) processor. Well, the camera is much cheaper! The body is like the older X-T20, metal top and bottom, with a non-slip carbon insert in the middle.
Disadvantages: The camera on a number of actions is somewhat "brooding". Namely - when recording - reading the footage. Not critical, as it does not affect the shooting. But it could be faster. Buy a card reader if you have a large memory card. The second point is the turn-on time with a retractable lens. I understand that he cannot move faster physically (and the competitors do the same), but I want more. Probably too sensitive monitor. My advice is to just leave the focus area setting and that's it.
Comment: A very handy device, with good work both on the machine and with advanced settings. The appearance in the junior segment of such an advanced hybrid autofocus, as well as many software "chips" such as "post focus" and "4K photo" - was a pleasant surprise. I have already shot about 10,000 frames, the camera behaves steadily and predictably. For this camera to work practically like its older brothers, you just need to get used to some of the features of the device (do not paw the monitor once again, for example). It is charged from the usual "power bank" for smartphones. But - anyway, if you are a fan of tile-ups or traveling - buy a second battery and an external charger (this applies to all cameras, but here it is not superfluous).

Advantages: - Excellent photo quality, both JPEG and RAW. Large, low-noise 24 MP sensor. - Excellent color reproduction, proprietary film simulation presets (except Arcos / Eterna, which are in more expensive models). - Convenient management. Wheel and Fn button to which you can assign any function. You can also assign arbitrary actions to swipes across the screen in 4 directions. - The screen that rotates in all directions, there is a selfie mode. - High quality bright viewfinder. Before that I have not used cameras with electronic viewfinders, a handy thing in sunny weather. - Can use external microphone for video. - An overhead handle is included, with which the camera is much more comfortable to hold. - The lens for the whale is very good. Decent sharpness, compact size, 23mm equivalent wide angle. - Large selection of quality lenses, if the kit is not enough. - The Fujifilm Camera Remote application can be used to remotely control the camera (press the shutter, change the basic camera settings, select the focus point; unfortunately, you cannot zoom) and copy photos / videos to your smartphone. WiFi + Bluetooth is used for connection.
Disadvantages: - Medium 1080 / 60p video quality and no 4K / 30p video (15p only). The clips look a bit overshadowed, the video bitrate is average (about 36 Mbps) and is not adjustable. Autofocus when shooting movies can dull. In general, 1080 / 60p quality is acceptable for amateur videos. In general, I am sure that soon the 4K / 60p mode will appear more and more in amateur cameras (and 30 frames per second is still not enough), so especially for video, then it will be possible to buy some kind of compact with a good zoom. - Tracking autofocus is slow. I did not test it strongly, because it is not critical for me. Autofocus works well in normal mode. - Comparatively large RAW files, about 40 MB. - The weight could be less (like the X-E3).
Comment: The main selection criteria were high photo quality, a wide-angle lens included and an optimal price / quality ratio. I bought mine for 40 (including the lens). Initially I chose among the more expensive ones: Fujifilm X-T20 / X-E3, Panasonic GX9, Sony A6300. In terms of video and autofocus, all these cameras are better, but apart from this there are no other significant advantages (and Panasonic in terms of photos is decently worse, Sony is worse in color reproduction), and the price is 20-30 thousand higher. At the same time, I like the X-T100 even more in appearance (I have a golden version, it looks beautiful and unusual, shines with golden or bronze depending on the ambient light). If you want the highest video quality and fast autofocus in all conditions, it's better to buy something else. I think this is a great mid-budget camera if photo quality comes first. My rating is 4.5, but let's round up to 5 :)

Advantages: First of all, this is the price-quality ratio. Small camera with excellent output quality even jpeg. Very intuitive interface. Convenient display with super rotations for any occasion. For hobbyists, great basic filters. Turned on - took a picture and you can immediately unload without processing)
Disadvantages: I'm not a pro, but I will describe the disadvantages that I caught. 1) unstable software, connected with both ipad and iphone - constant departures, long connection, unclear unloading in setting 2) such a cheap plastic on the bottom of the case, where the battery is inserted. In comparison with the same x10 that was before, it looks very straight forward). Like panels in solaris after Toyota) 3) video, for this level of course this is understandable, but still, even on phones, the picture is more stable.
Comment: In general, I am satisfied with the device as an elephant. For the amateur level - for the eyes. Small, handy, photo quality. Recommend!)

Advantages: Picture quality. Convenience - I personally found it easier and more convenient to handle the xt100 than with the older xt20. Lightroom works fine with racks (again, compared to xt20, where the matrix is of a different type and lightroom opens each frame for half a minute). Quite good rabbits. Included with Ravka, Lightrum gets color presets that match film imitations. A pretty good whale lens. If you are not used to controlling the zoom with a motor, you can turn the focus wheel. In AF mode, it also works like a zoom, but more familiar. Auto-synchronization of GPS coordinates with the phone (if you do not forget to turn on the application) From up to 3200 The principle is quite working. But depending on the situation.
Disadvantages: Sometimes it dulls. Especially if you turn on the auto-flipping mode. It may not turn on for 10 minutes. Probably trying to transfer photos. If this mode is not turned on, then all the rules. Autofocus can overshoot and this is not such a rare situation. And then the disadvantages in general fujam, semi-amateur. The application, again, does not work stably. May not connect in remote control mode. In the application, you cannot turn on the bulb mode (which is generally a game) deleting files - generally a sad song. Scrolling through the photos, you see fuzzy Do you want to delete.- You must press the Delete button, select the Single file mode, and confirm the deletion. And then exit this mode if you want to continue flipping through photos with zoom. Because you cannot simultaneously remove and zoom to check the sharpness. The settings for the fn button, gestures, and quick settings screen are very limited. You cannot select items from the entire menu, but only from a specific list. gestures don't work very well at all. Controlling the focus using the touch screen when looking at EVI did not work out. But most of all, the deletion is annoying. the clarity of the intra-camera jpg is worse than in the ravka. Probably because of the noise reduction (although it costs -2)
Comment: For the first time in 10 years, I thought about changing the camera. As a rule, Nikon D90 suited everything, but I wanted something easier. And I never regretted it. Better than the old DSLR in almost everything (except for working with files. In Nikon, delete a photo - double-click on the trash can button. In Fuji - a whole quest). Gorgeous work with manual lenses. I connected Nikon's fifty kopeck 1.4 (still film) through an adapter. It is very convenient to focus with the camera (in MF mode, pressing the wheel increases the focusing area. On all lenses, including those without any chips). Focusing. Autoexposure works very well with old lenses (this is where mirrorless cameras definitely beat a mirror). Weifai with bluetooth. Well, the rotating screen is also convenient to take pictures of all sorts of reflections.

Advantages: - compact and lightweight camera with very good image quality - there are a lot of built-in scene programs for all occasions, it is convenient to learn from them - and when you are already well versed with what shutter speed, aperture and iso are and why you need them, you can shoot manually mode and raw format. - in terms of detail and dynamic range, everything is excellent - it is convenient that you can immediately transfer pictures from the camera to a smartphone and publish on social networks - the camera looks small, but it is quite convenient to hold in your hands - I really liked the size of the camera - you can really take it with you every day without straining ...
Disadvantages: - the battery will last for about 300 frames, when shooting on the display - if you use a non-central focusing point, then autofocus sometimes misses - the touchscreen is spontaneously pressed when carried in the hands or on the neck (but it can be completely disabled through the menu)
Comment: a very decent device with Fujifilm's proprietary color profiles. Suitable either as a first camera to learn the basics of photography (but at the same time, it has a very large margin for growth), or as a second camera. Also, thanks to its versatility, it will be an excellent camera for blogging and travel photography

Advantages: -Mirrorless camera, in the viewfinder and on the display you can immediately see how the settings affect the picture, it is very convenient for training. - image quality, working ISO up to 3200 (for my taste) - fast one-shot autofocus - color rendition and film simulation modes - large selection of interchangeable optics, good zoom lens included - stunning design, lightweight and compact body, metal top panel - swivel touchscreen display - wi-fi for transferring images directly to the phone - USB charging, you can charge from anything you want, even from a power bank - good FullHD video 60 frames per second - built-in flash (of course not a replacement for professional flashes, but at parties it can cope with the task )
Disadvantages: - Although it is written about this in the specifications, but 4K video writes only 15 frames per second, accordingly the camera is mainly designed for shooting in FullHD - the complete lens is not bad, for beginners, it is suitable, but still it is kitty-dark, plus when turned on it takes time to advance. - the tripod socket is not in the center of the optical axis, when the tripod platform is installed, it is impossible to open the battery compartment cover - the camera is quite miniature and I am afraid that it will not be so convenient with larger lenses - the sensor of the electronic viewfinder is too sensitive, sometimes annoying - the microphone socket is not 3.5mm and 2.5mm
Comment: We needed a seed chamber for travel, seed archive and creativity, replacement of an old DSLR (Canon 550d). This camera coped with the tasks with a bang! Great color, so less processing. Compact size and cool design, it all motivates to take the camera with you, and the best camera is the one that is always with you. There are many interchangeable objects for the camera, we immediately bought a compact lens XF35mmF2 (the famous "poltinik"), with which portraits are very cool! Summing up, we are very happy with the purchase!

Advantages: I bought a camera for travel. The picture quality is superior to all my previous ones (Canon 5d-m2). Very lightweight and compact, looks stylish. The sharpness and detail of the images are at a high level, very good shots when shooting in low light conditions (shot at 3200). I shoot only in RAW with post-processing.
Comment: I like everything so far.

Advantages: - Well-thought-out camera control - Good work Auto WB - Good color rendition without dancing with tambourines - Good dynamic range of the camera - Quite convenient camera menu - Ability to shoot in good JPEG, many parameters for this - Good EVF - Good screen with three degrees of freedom - Normal 6fps burst speed - Fully silent electronic shutter
Disadvantages: - Terrible grip, almost obliging to buy a Chinese "Pribluda" - Not very smart and not very fast single AF - Poorly working face and eye tracking function - Frankly weak tracking AF - 4k video is useless with its 15 fps - Weak burst buffer
Comment: In general, the camera is not bad, though not the best. But for your money, it is quite adequate. For my purposes, for use with manual glasses, it suits quite well. Weak AF will not allow it to be used for anything other than static shooting, but at the same time, many do not need more. A weak processor instead of its shortcomings gives a very decent battery life. The presence of phase AF allows you to use an adapter for Canon glasses, which are much cheaper than Fujs, and these adapters seem to work very tolerably. With this, let me end my review of the Fujinon X = T100 camera. My big camera overview can be seen here - http://www.alphatraveller.org/archives/851

Advantages: Color rendition, design, affordable price, compactness, good image quality, it is fashionable to play with imitation of film, although it is much better to process the photo manually, the ras from this camera allow you to extract a lot of information from strong overexposure, or vice versa, shadows.
Disadvantages: Low battery life, small grip that makes it impossible to carry the camera, and you have to hang it around your neck. The camera is thoughtful, especially when saving a series of shots, or a shot at a long exposure. 4K video quality can be considered absent. 15 FPS is absolutely not serious. Microphone input - 2.5mm, which makes you either use rare microphones with such an interface, or use an adapter; in general, the camera is poorly suited for video, which would be foolish to demand for such a price.
Comment: I bought it in November 2018 for 45 thousand, now it costs less, I can recommend it for beginners in general, or as a travel camera.
