Disadvantages: There is no way to charge from USB, but this is not surprising, because 7.2 volts. Only 20 minutes of video (although I didn't have to shoot more).

Comment: In photography, I'm actually a complete noob. The camera was taken from thinking "not the cheapest, but not expensive either." Satisfied in everything, the photos are great, the video shoots perfectly. I shoot so far only in Auto, I have not yet studied the essence of photography. They gave me a couple of Nikkor lenses to see her, not the cheapest ones (I don't understand them))), the photos were just amazing. In general, I am very pleased with the camera, I cannot say how good it is professionally, but for my purposes more than :)

Advantages: The stabilization is excellent. Most of all, I was pleased that with this camera you can take RAW images. Then the quality is really great!

Disadvantages: A bit heavy, but it's a trifle.

Comment: Great camera, very good shots and a pleasure to shoot with it. All the required story modes. I tried it in M ​​mode, I did not notice the difference in quality from the scene modes, both in macro and portrait. The flash does not fire frequently because the camera works great on high ISO. You can safely put the P and ISO mode on auto and not know about grief. In the Menu, I locked the shutter speed at least 1/60. There are no lubricants. Although not tested in all modes yet. Not a cheap camera, but the instructions on paper were clamped to print. You need to go to the site in the desired section and find the Interactive Manual and save it to your bookmarks. The manufacturer got upset. I bought three weeks ago for 33 tr. now 30t. A bit out of luck. I am satisfied with the purchase. I advise.

Advantages: The camera rests comfortably in the hand, the ergonomics have been done well. Photo quality with good lenses and proper camera setup is excellent. Light weight, you can carry it with you and won't get tired quickly. Good build quality, after almost six months of use, no defects were found. Affordable price.

Disadvantages: The first and most important drawback is that there is no possibility to shoot video in 4k format. Lack of fundamentally new functions and capabilities relative to the previous model, with a tangible difference in price. The bundled user's manual fits into two sheets, for comparison, the bundle of the previous camera (D3400) contained a whole book with all the details.

Comment: My first DSLR, so there is nothing to compare with. Before that, I had a Canon mirrorless camera, but using it did not suit me for a number of factors, including the quality of the resulting images. I looked closely at the d3400 for a long time, but by that time I came across information about the announcement of the d3500 on the Internet. As a result of a long and painful comparison, the choice fell on a newer model. By the time the camera was purchased, there was not much information about it on the Internet. But in my opinion, the most valuable advice I read in one of the reviews, where it was advised to invest in good optics. As an experiment, I purchased several old lenses from Soviet cameras and with the help of adapters I use them at the moment on the D3500, and the difference with the kit lens is very large! Now I'm looking at high-aperture fixes. Summing up, I will say that I did not regret purchasing this model at all, it can help beginners and amateurs in training, thanks to a special training shooting mode. Definitely, this camera is capable of realizing its full potential in the right hands. I am very pleased with her.

Advantages: Convenient, affordable camera for hobbyists. Great picture, fast focusing, clear pictures!

The video shoots very well, although it is not clear with autofocus in video mode - it is absent, or I have not figured it out. However, this is a camera in the first place, not a video camera.

Disadvantages: Doesn't connect with phone. Not critical, but in any case, whether it is a marriage or an incompatibility - the specifications are stated, which means it should work (a phone with an action camera connects easily). But the main drawback is that the battery cannot be charged through the camera, only in a charger that works only from a 220v network. Accordingly, additional costs for the purchase of charging and spare batteries.Moreover, when connected to a computer, it is not charged, but discharged - which negates the advantages of an overall economical camera.

Comment: The camera is cool, despite some of the nuances. I think it is suitable not only for learning from it, but, given the weight and convenience, also for those who prefer to shoot with a DSLR while hiking and traveling. All positive and interesting stories))
