Opinions from the Canon EOS M50 Kit
Yandex.Market data
Advantages:
-Price. For its price, the device is simply great. - Dimensions and weight. With a 22 F / 2 lens, it fits in a jacket pocket if you use a shoulder strap to keep your neck numb. With the whale 15-45 it is also quite compact. - Image quality at the level of top-end cropped DSLRs. -ISO up to 3200 suits me completely, but I generally don't like short exposures in the dark, I try to use light in photography as intended. - Eye focus, tracking focus, the ability to select the focus point with your finger across the screen while using the electronic viewfinder - thanks to all this, focus misses, including at open apertures, will no longer be present in the life of photographers. - Flip-out touchscreen allows you to shoot from different positions and focus with a tap. - convenient arrangement of buttons, it is convenient to hold the carcass, although my hands cannot be called small. - the new processor works just fine, the main thing is to use a modern memory card for fast file recording.-10 frames per second! -100% viewfinder coverage, exposure parameters are clearly visible in it, here you can also display the histogram and level. - Wi-fi. Convenient for shooting from a smartphone. RAW can be processed on the camera and transferred to a smartphone. - All buttons can be reassigned, absolutely everything.
Disadvantages:
I did not find it for myself. -Many are not happy with "inferior" 4K, but I don't care about this parameter, the FULLHD quality of this camera on a 42-inch TV suits me, and I don't see any reason to buy an expensive computer for 4K processing - I don't earn money from it. -The battery charge lasts for 300 frames, that's for sure, and there was still a division. After three to four charging cycles, it began to hold energy better. Little or many is up to you. -The lack of an exposure compensation wheel and a couple of wheels did not become a disadvantage for me, as well as the absence of a monochrome screen, since with the help of the touch screen all these possibilities remained and the inconvenience did not increase, i.e. the desired function, be it WB or the metering parameter, is still on the display and can be changed at any time by touching the screen.

Advantages:
-Quality of photo and video -Lots of different modes of photo and video shooting, you can change absolutely everything -Auto mode works perfectly -Touchscreen turned out to be a very convenient thing, especially in combination with tracking autofocus -Autofocus is just a magic thing -Price -Very convenient, everything is in its place ... -Very solidly made, nice plastic -Light and compact, especially compared to 450D
Disadvantages:
-Battery charge, but in principle, enough for 2 days of moderate shooting -While it is a little inconvenient to use the zoom during video shooting, the ring at low speeds is jerky. But it's a matter of habit

Advantages:
The camera was purchased exclusively for FullHD 50p video shooting in conjunction with an electronic stabilizer. I'm happy with the picture. Autofocus is good. Most often used with 22mm lens. I don't use electronic stabilization. Whale 15-45 I use only when you need a wide angle. I use a 50mm STM through a cheap Chinese adapter. It is friendly with cheap batteries without any problems. A good matrix, I shot at night by firelight - the noise is minimal, the picture is natural. I also shoot dances at banquets without a flashlight.
Disadvantages:
There is no aperture priority mode for movie shooting. There is no accurate display of the remaining battery capacity. There is no information on the screen about the free space on the memory card, to find out you need to go to the formatting menu.

Advantages:
Compactness - much smaller than a DSLR, but not as small as a soap dish. Low weight. It is comfortable to hold and work with the camera. In the presence of all the chips from a DSLR - a viewfinder, a shoe, a microphone input. Often, mirrorless cameras don't have any of this. I prefer everything - for versatility. The filling is almost equal to 80D, but even slightly better. And the 80D carcass is more expensive than the M50 whale. Hence the next plus - Price. Excellent quality for both photos and videos. FHD 60fps is more than enough. 4k is not yet common. Autofocus works fine. When using the viewfinder, you can slide your finger across the touchscreen to direct autofocus - a handy feature. Latest raw format. Fast burst shooting. Surprisingly decent sound quality from the built-in microphones. High-quality and comfortable screen and viewfinder. Good photos in auto mode and special modes. Convenient wireless functions. You can put it on a tripod, and activate the shutter release from your phone to avoid shaking. It helped out when shooting very long exposures at night. And, of course, you can send photos to your smartphone or computer. Kit glass 15-55 is not the worst, you can use it.
Disadvantages:
I didn't understand how NFC works. I have it in my phone, it is on, but it does not react to the approach to the camera. As a result, I connected it by hand faster)) There is no body version, or at least variations of whales with high-aperture glasses. I heard that the M5 had a kit with 22 / 2.0 in addition to the main one. There are very few good lenses on the M mount. I don’t understand why it’s impossible to release at least an analogue of the same 50 / 1.8 ?! Fortunately, you can buy an adapter for EF and use a giant fleet of optics. The battery cannot be charged via USB. I don’t understand either, what was the difficulty in doing this ?! Apparently they want us to buy batteries from them, and not use power banks. Cut down on 4K footage. Since there is such an opportunity in the cell, why is it cut down? Dual-pixel does not work in this mode, and the frame rate is low. But you can shoot non-dynamic scenes if you want. It is not critical for me, because I will shoot only in FHD.

Advantages:
1. Excellent quality of photos and videos. 2. Compact dimensions. 3. Rotary touch display. 4. Lots of settings for an amateur camera, even with excess. 5. Convenient arrangement of controls, you get used to it very quickly. 6. Excellent sound quality from built-in microphones. 7. Availability of a 3.5 mm jack for an external microphone. 8. The presence of a not bad viewfinder. 9. Decent lens included. 10. Excellent fast autofocus. 11. The presence of both a built-in flash and a hot shoe in the device. 12. Practically does not get warm when shooting video.
Disadvantages:
1. Small capacity of the storage battery. 2. It is not possible to charge the battery inside the device via the USB cable. 3. Subjectively, the connector for the external microphone is not well located, it covers part of the display. 4. Long battery compartment cover. You will not be able to remove the memory card or battery if the camera is on a tripod. 5. You can shoot 4K video only statically, otherwise the jelly effect is just crazy. 6. Plastic, rough and quite easily soiled body.

Advantages:
+ Photo quality and FullHD video recording + Dual pixel autofocus + Canon color rendering + Intuitive interface and settings menu (unlike most other manufacturers)
Disadvantages:
-Plastic body. In terms of reliability - no complaints, but the "premium" does not cause sensations. - Not enough physical controls - just one full wheel - Canon's dodgy marketers did this on purpose to separate the "premium" (EOS M5, M6) from the "entry-level" cameras - although at the moment, in terms of capabilities, it is the M50 that is the flagship. -The cost of original accessories. I ordered the lens hoods and backup batteries from Chinese, the quality is not worse than the originals, but half or four times cheaper.

Advantages:
As a camera, it is the ideal device for capturing excellent quality photos in automatic and customizable modes. New RAW encoding format = CRAW (CR3). Very interesting creative modes: Night Scene - automatic stitching of 3 pictures. Get great handheld shots without a tripod. HDR of different sharpness - also automatic gluing. All thanks to the new Digit8 processor. In the vending machine you can get a short film cut from shooting in a special auto mode. When it comes to videos, get the perfect blogging device - a rotating screen. The FHD video quality is excellent, and the DualPixel auto focus is the best of any manufacturer. The sound is quite acceptable, but you can screw in an external microphone. Canon's hot shoe is versatile - you can use any of your flash units. With the EF to EF-M adapter you can use all excellent Canon brand lenses. Canon's first mirrorless camera with 4K 25 fp / s. But I recommend shooting from a static place (tripod). Excellent connectivity for mobile devices and phone control, as well as transfer to the cloud. WI-Fi NFC bluetooth USB
Disadvantages:
Large crop 1.6 When shooting 4K, the crop is increased to 2.4 b, the proprietary focus does not work. Contrast focus in 4K sometimes misses the mark. The sensor becomes noisy after ISO 2000 for stills and ISO 3200 for video. For the amateur level, the result is quite acceptable for ISO 6400 and even higher.

Disadvantages:
There are some pluses for this class. Prints remain on the screen. But this is a small thing compared to what he can
