a printer was bought for printing educational literature for language courses + printing premium materials. photo printed, the quality is not worse than the local photo studio, but I had to tinker with the settings. (everything is in the u-tube)

My second such printer, the first was the g1400 - absolutely the same. Both models die when approaching 13,000-15,000 prints, and print quality becomes terrible (faded, lines are fuzzy). Apparently, the printheads. If you set the print quality to the highest, it prints while it is normal, but you can fall asleep while the sheet comes out. The first printer was hardware locked at about 18,000 - 20,000 prints, this should be the same.

Advantages:
The price-performance ratio is simply divine! As a result, taking into account all the discounts and promotions, it cost me 3500! (the full price was about 8500r). The cost of a photo print is 10x15 (paint, excluding paper) = 1 rub 20kop !!!!!!!!!! If the picture quality is high, then the print will be great. The better the paper, the better the print.

I would like to speed up my photo printing.

Yes. maybe 8- and 12-color printers print better, but this printer is quite a worthy competitor to photo printers! I had almost no problems with paper. It happened that I did not want to take matte photo paper, but rarely, it after being very "tired"

Advantages:
I no longer wonder when the ink will run out. No more problem refilling disposable cartridges (for the sake of economy). There is no more toad that came every time you buy new cartridges to replace dried or clogged disposable ones. Fast printing. Quick start-up. Low cost per sheet compared to laser and or disposable cartridges.
Disadvantages:
It turns off by itself, you have to press the power button every day. The photos are a little grainy, but since they were taken for office work, this is a drawback, so just a note.
