Comment: I bought a monitor when it went on sale (the very first version of A01). The choice was made from LG 34UM95, LG 34UC97 and Dell u3415w. Having analyzed all the pros and cons, the choice was made in favor of Dell. I did not regret it at all. Very good color rendition even when factory calibrated. The monitor worked for 2 years without any visible problems. After 2 years, stripes were seen clearly in shades of gray and blue (especially noticeable when starting the computer on the Windows boot screen). I contacted Dell technical support by email, reported the problem, provided the necessary photos. A few days later, they brought a new monitor for replacement directly to the house by courier service (revision A03). Technical support at the highest level.

Advantages: 1. Build quality flawlessly. 2. The package bundle is sufficient, there was no need to buy additional cables. 3. There were fears that because of the curvature of the screen it would be impossible to work in CAD applications - it was not confirmed, when working in AutoCAD, distortions are not observed. 4. Excellent replacement for dual-monitor configuration. 5. It is pleasant to watch modern widescreen films without black borders. 6. I liked the automatic switching of the monitor configurations by the screen depending on the selected application - when reading Web pages, a softer, more pleasing to the eye backlight is exposed. On movies, brighter for saturation. Etc., if desired, everything is configured. 7.Sophisticated ergonomics of the monitor: a reliable stand, a competent cable organizer, no problems with the control menu, a certain elegance - since the days of previous DELL models, for me the most worthy option in these parameters.

Disadvantages: 1. Edge flare is observed when working with a black background, however, this is a problem with IPS technology as a whole, but there is a positive movement in the development of technology (compare with a DELL 2007 WFP monitor ten years ago). 2. When you connect your smartphone to a computer in sleep mode via USB for charging, the computer wakes up. I have not found a solution to the problem yet. 3. When working through an HDMI cable in the maximum resolution, the maximum settable refresh rate is 50 Hz, through a DP cable, as expected - 60 Hz. 4. Comment: One monitor in a dual-monitor configuration from DELL 2007 WFP monitors burned out, repairing was more expensive than buying a new monitor with similar characteristics. I decided to replace them with this monitor. I work in Windows 7. The performance of the ASUS card on the HD 7850 chipset turned out to be sufficient for everyday use, I don’t know for games - I’m not carried away. To check it, I took it from a company working with the Manyback service, I liked the monitor - I did not return it. Do not take flat monitors with such a diagonal - you will have a headache due to the constant change of eye focus. I recommend to purchase.

Advantages: 1. Concave - the eyes are VERY comfortable! 2. Ultra-wide and large - with peripheral vision, it is more interesting to watch movies and play. 3. Resolution 3K - a huge amount of free space on your desktop. 4. Convenient and reliable stand: the monitor on it moves in all three planes with a light movement of your fingertip. Best stand I have ever seen! (although I still hung the monitor on the wall). 5. Built-in power supply. 6. Ability to adjust the color as you like. Brightness, hue, saturation, offset are adjustable in 3-6 channels: RGB + CYM. Designers will be delighted. 7. A bunch of all kinds of ports for connecting all modern signals, there are all cables included at once: DP, HDMI, USB3.0. On the back panel of the monitor, a whistle from an XBOX joystick, a bluetooth adapter was inserted into the USB ports. One USB port is located closer to the edge of the back of the monitor - it is mega-convenient to often connect flash drives to it. And the view does not deteriorate. Good cable management - no cables visible when the monitor is mounted on a stand. 8. Fast matrix. It's great to play games. 9. DELL's premium warranty for some years: if at least one dead pixel appears, a free monitor replacement within 1-2 days.

Disadvantages: 1. You can see gray gradients on the screen where there is a lot of any solid color. It looks like a gray parabola from the middle of the screen and down. This is due to the concavity of the matrix or due to the matte film on the screen, because the gradient changes with the position of the head. Plus, along the entire bottom edge of the monitor, there is also a gray gradient, I had to return the Windows taskbar there so as not to annoy (usually on ultra-wide monitors, the taskbar is near the right edge of the monitor). 2. The touch buttons must either be pressed 2-3 times to work, or very accurately "aim" at them. 3. The finished calibrated profile is unlikely to be liked by anyone for everyday work - with it the picture becomes dull. 4. Sound is the worst thing about this monitor. The frequency response in the region of 4 KHz is lifted up - the speakers "lisp", even listening to ordinary speech is unpleasant. 5. The monitor strongly warms up the air in the room (and consumes energy - one hundred and something Watt). 6. And, of course, strong flares in the corners on a dark screen. It is impossible to get used to and ignore bright spots, especially in the dark. They shine like lanterns. 7. Heavy and huge packaging.Although it weighs 20kg, it is inconvenient to carry it alone, and it is also inconvenient to carry it together. 8. For this resolution, only one game card is needed - gtx1080.

Comment: The concavity of the screen made the eyes and brain feel really good at last. If you move the window horizontally, the movement looks like a straight line, whereas on a flat "ultra-wide" monitor, the window moved along a convex arc due to the fact that the edges of the monitor are physically located farther from the eyes than the center. Fallout4 + pec970 at this resolution = brakes. If you overclock vidyahu, you can more or less play, but vidyahu makes noise and fries the air, plus the monitor fries the air. The room is getting hot. After learning how to control the color and tone of the picture and adjusting it exactly the way I want, the monitor was 95% satisfied. Advantages: I have been working on it for 14 days, delight and only delight! Colors, clarity, contrast, my retina on macPRO seems awkward ... Of course, only DP1.2 Undoubtedly 100% wow effect. Himself beloved spared no money. Coming to work - I thank myself =)

Disadvantages: Highlights are small at the edges, bottom left and right, only on light and very little. You have to understand that the screen is about a meter wide, if you look at a right angle, then there is no light, in short, this is nonsense that is not worth attention.

Disadvantages: 1. significant highlights in the corners (especially the lower left) with parasitic (yellow) shades. looked at almost all the options that are on the market from 3440-1440. But in fairness, most of the time they are not noticeable (unless, of course, you do not watch a movie about night without light at night).

Comment: 3440-1440 / 60Hz via displayPort 1.2 only. a little more and 4K - for ultra games you need gtx970 and above

Advantages: High resolution, a browser on the floor of the screen is convenient to use, it doesn't get too hot. No technical complaints

Disadvantages: I had to buy a new video card to pull the screen resolution. The software for dividing the screen into parts works moronic, there is zero sense from it, but you can not put it. With large side viewing angles, the color rendition suffers weakly, but the far edge of the screen seems to fall over the horizon, it becomes completely invisible. I have a taskbar on the side and it's unpleasant when everything is visible except the date. The bottom left corner suffers the most. A few months later, the jamb came out: when turned on, vertical multi-colored stripes of 1px appear on the screen, but this passes after a few minutes of the monitor's operation, it warms up, it helps if you hit :) I think this is due to the fact that the monitor is suspended on a vesa mount, and not on the foot.

Comment: on Windows 7 everything is very small, scaling helps badly, I'm waiting for windows 10, there shouldn't be any problems there. A lot fits with small print, but you have to sit close to the monitor and turn your head.
