Disadvantages: Unrealistically modest functionality. I, however, compare it with my old Sansa Clip, which I flashed with Rockbox. There was a functional there - my dear mother. What does smart firmware mean? In short, everything you expect from a player is missing here. In order ... No instruction, I thought at first. But after three days of use, I realized that there was nothing to describe - this player can only play files. You cannot specify an entire folder containing several albums. You cannot call the track menu - with info, equalizer, delete, etc., until you press play. Tracks are added to the playlist only one at a time and only during playback. No equalizer. Only a few presets. Turning on any of them, for some reason, reduces the volume by 20 percent. But they do not work! :) At all. I did not hear any difference in sound. You cannot manually move the sliders. For some reason they stuffed a dictaphone into the player. Despite the fact that there is nothing else, this option looks at least strange. It would be better if they made a radio. Doesn't digest CUE with FLAC. It starts to play normally, but after half of the album, the player begins to live its own life - it plays a piece from the previous track, skips tracks, plays a piece from the next track. You have to cut into separate tracks, then it eats everything. For cutting I recommend Xrecode 3, it can cut heavy files and supports multithreading. Do not copy large pictures together with albums, from the 7k to 7k cover my player hung for 30 seconds. It plays, but nothing can be done. All repeat and randomness settings apply only to the current folder. Someone will say that there is a Category menu for everything, where you can play by artist, album, genre, all tracks in general or by playlist. But this menu is also not for everybody. I'm too lazy to create a separate playlist on my computer, and tossing tracks into favorites one by one is masochism.

Comment: Upd. February 2020: Well, the Chinese are great, they are updating the firmware. CUE works fine, equalizers are repaired. The only pity is that the folder menu is still missing, and you cannot add them entirely.

Advantages: Design, battery life.

Disadvantages: The sound still expected more by 4, the high frequencies are almost missing, the low frequencies prevail over the rest.When changing the artist, the picture of the cover is delayed by a few seconds (the music sounds new, and the picture is still the previous one). The headphone jack goes into the player without clicking (like other normal players), you need to apply a little force to insert it like in very cheap Chinese players.

Comment: The sensor works fine, the cost is 4-5 thousand rubles. no more. The DAC, although it costs, is cheap, and the sound, respectively. Headphones no more than 32 ohms and only vacuum or earbuds with good sensitivity. The louder the battery runs out faster. Be sure to listen before buying. I sold my last player Cayin N3, now I regret, the sound of the M3K is far from the N3, the only plus is the battery.

Advantages: A good player to listen to music in nature. Silicone case included. The charge lasts for a long time. The sound is clear but flat.

Disadvantages: I personally miss the bass on the Marshal III. Apparently, to swing the bass, you also need a portable amplifier or other earplugs.

Comment: A convenient player from the category of consumer electronics with great ambitions to be HiFi. The sound is somewhere between an iPhone and a budget home sound system. It's worthy for the money.

Advantages: - Good sound quality - There is a volume margin - Plays almost all formats (I only have a problem with cue images, everything else plays) - It fits perfectly in the hand, comes with a rubber case, it won't slip out with this. - Good battery - Hi-res audio certified - great value

Disadvantages: - I didn't like sorting files and creating playlists. - You cannot create a playlist, you can only use the ones created in the firmware. They cannot be renamed. (I understand that the creators meant to play from folders or by folders)

Comment: Excellent machine. I only use it for listening to music in a lossless format and it does it perfectly well.

Pros: charged - forgot. Cons: I didn't make friends with large files. Some do not want to delete at all. The navigation is very primitive. General: player as player. The sound is wonderful, it works for a long time, small, light, beautiful. You don't have to think too much about it (how to charge it, what kind of display is on the screen, how to arrange everything, set it up, etc.). A phone with books in his hands, a player in his ears. I'm very happy. Music is listened to with a bang. (but large files are slowed down) Ps: I bought a memory card separately.

Advantages: Listened with ATH M50X and Sony XBA-A1. Very pleasant sound and, unexpectedly for such a price, a pleasant overall impression from the player! I'm surprised that for 6 tr you can purchase a device that you enjoy listening to! Compact, very easy to operate and does not slow down, unlike the X3 III I have, for example. I will repeat about the main thing: with good ears, the sound is obviously much higher in the price category! A number of devices that are twice as expensive sound no better overall than this player.

Disadvantages: Some Flac and M4a for some reason cannot read ... But the source was dubious and maybe the player is not to blame!) After he converted it himself, he read everything. After a while, I figured out: there are settings that set the player what formats to display and play! So the flaw can be canceled.

Comment: The memory card, like for other FiiO models, must be in FAT 32 format, otherwise it will not be able to read it!
