Comment: Many people write about a very sensitive scroll wheel sensor. In my case, the issue is resolved. In the wheel, in addition to the scrolling itself, it is provided to scroll by a single "press" on the disc - up and down, left and right, and if you hold your finger on the disc, then fast scrolling of menu items / tracks is automatically turned on. As a result, the impression was formed of an overly sensitive sensor. It turned out that in the player's system settings menu there is an item "Scroll function", which is enabled by default. After turning it off, the wheel pressing mode turned off, and it only began to scroll. Now flipping has become smooth and clear, no worse than mechanics! Hope it helps everyone.

For a newcomer to the HDAudio world, I think this model is the perfect choice given the balance of cost and performance. I understand that this is not Astell & Kern, but still fire. The touch wheel is too sensitive, there is no way to adjust it. Bluetooth is available. But for some unknown reason, it takes a very long time to turn on in the settings, and greatly slows down the process of turning on the player. Some menu items are not translated correctly. Scrolling through long menu item names takes forever. In six months, the buttons quickly lost their elasticity of pressing, they have to be pushed deeper. In my previous Sony Walkman X1050, after 5 years of active use, they only pressed slightly softer. I wonder what will happen next? Broken buttons one by one?

Comment: The firmware is as raw as possible. Sometimes at the start of a song, its beginning is swallowed with a bang. Very thoughtful rewind. And the reaction to button presses is also not fast. There have been cases when the entire interface just crashed, showing strange numbers on the screen when keys were pressed. When buying this device, you will not leave the feeling that this product is unfinished, that it was cobbled together in a hurry and somehow. If you think that for the sake of excellent sound quality you can put up with this, then take it. Otherwise, it is better to look for something else. P.S. The price in Russian retail is 20-40% higher than the price of the manufacturer at the famous Chinese flea market.

But the most important thing is that the sound is great for your money, you even want to find fault - it will not work. For those who need super bass or certain sound deformations, they can be easily achieved by choosing headphones.

The vocals are in their place and thanks to the excellent intelligibility of the instruments and the solid separation of plans, the player is simply gorgeous even for very complex jazz compositions. - There is a small filter at the high frequency, which somewhat affects their perception, but for most it will only be a plus, as it allows you to get rid of unnecessary high-frequency problems.

Advantages: sound is the main advantage. I had to change the music library from mp3 to lossless otherwise you can hear the flaws of the format.you need high-quality headphones to feel all the delights of the player.

Disadvantages: sometimes freezes, too sensitive touch wheel

Comment: the entire frequency range sounds even. at first I played with an equalizer, but eventually turned it off as unnecessary. now looking for hi-res headphones, but even with old dynamic ones the detail is impressive.

The main difference from the sound from a smartphone is the sound of live instruments, guitar, piano, bass guitar, drum. Each instrument can be heard separately. The sound picture is amazing. I myself listened to the sound from a smartphone samsung c9 plus, after the player the sound seems somehow flat. I tried to compare the same compositions with the same ears on both the player and the smartphone, the difference is striking. The player sounds better. Especially note the soul performance on the player is something. Every chord, strumming and performer's voice is heard in detail. Sounds great on this player Linkin Park and Limb Bizkit. I advise those who understand sound. Those who have enough sound from a smartphone, then there is no point in bothering.

Comment: If we discard all the pluses and turn to the minuses, then the first thing worth mentioning is the firmware. In the beginning, I did miracles when choosing a track - I could get stuck on the simplest task. The last firmware was fixed, but the sediment remained. In any case, the interface is slow, of course, this can be explained by the minimum RAM, but for the impatient it is worth thinking about something more. Wouldn't hurt an amp even with simple AKG K52 with Hi-Res formats. And the sound in mp3 is simply incomparable, juicy, although there are differences from FLAC on the face. Very often the battery displays an incorrect charge. So sometimes half of the road outside the city you have to go under your own puffing. When choosing a track (again, especially in Hi-Res format), it can take a very long time to think. Sometimes it devours the beginning of the song, but I also blame the quality of the material itself. Despite the described shortcomings, the player is incomparable as a guide to the world of high definition music. With him, I think it is worth starting this path. But you can't keep up with progress, so I'll stop there for now. For more than a year, with shortcomings, small advantages discard any thoughts to sell the device or change to an older / other model. If you are not a perfectionist, then take it. The player is sure to give you back your trust with great sound.
