The difference is really very noticeable. In fact, now you can do without external steadics at all. In the timewrap mode, the stabilization also works out perfectly, which I think is generally a breakthrough. The sound is clearer and there is less noise and wind. Shooting in 4K 60fps is honest! Stabilization does the job as well. Compared to the 5th series, the camera is just a bomb. Heaven and earth. If someone still has doubts about switching to 7 or not, it is definitely worth it! You will not regret. In my opinion, this gopro model has finally regained its leadership and surpassed all competitors. Firmware 1.61 was released not long ago. Put it down. Comment: I own a camera for 5 months already. So far, only pleases. Tested in the cold. At -15 - it worked perfectly (45 minutes in 4K 60 pfs). In sunny weather, it is better to set the EV -0.5, -1 or CPL filter. The stabilization work, with a lack of light (evening, night), was corrected in firmware 1.61 (now 1.70). Now everything is clear, there are no smears. Gorgeous camera. This is the best action camera to date.

Advantages: The camera is generally good: 1. The quality of the picture in jpg format has become more pleasant and better, there is the possibility of shooting in raw, which can be further processed in lightroom. 2. The stabilization is at a decent level (albeit digital), even if it cuts off a part of the picture it is not noticeable if you set the correct shooting angle knowing these features in advance. 3. Possibility of good shooting in FullHD 240 fps, but with a tripod. no stabilization. 4. In one of the latest firmwares, hypersmooth was added at 4k at 60 fps, earlier at the time of purchase it was only 30.

Disadvantages: The battery runs out quickly in ambient conditions below 5 degrees Celsius. At sub-zero temperatures, the battery is consumed even more, prolonged use in such environments is undesirable. It is advisable to buy 2-3 pieces later in stock. To transfer a photo / video to a computer, you need Windows 10, at least. I tried to download the program for seven - the installation program did not start, notifying me about an outdated system and lack of support. You can try this procedure through the emulator. I still do it the old fashioned way - I remove the USB flash drive (Sandisk Ultra 128 Gb A1 MicroSD XC1) and insert it through the adapter into the computer, then I dump it through the total to the desired directory. It is difficult to remove the flash drive from the camera with your fingers, it is better to use a small tweezers in this matter, it helps a lot. Despite the fact that the camera is positioned as waterproof to a shallow depth of fresh water (not sea water - otherwise the kirdyk will come to it faster and count 35k into the pipe) it is a little upset that the manufacturers did not add a waterproof box to the package, as it was before when I bought a GoPro 4 Silver. The factory box is very good in quality than the Chinese counterparts and has served for a very long time, including in seawater - I live in the south, in Lazarevka and in summer I often shoot on the surface and under water.

Comment: I think it will definitely be enough for 2-3 years, and there, naturally, something new will be released. The camera, as you know, is action and is not suitable for shooting at night, you should not count on it, but it can shoot some pictures with shutter speed in nightlapse mode. I am satisfied with the purchase, you can cut different vidos. Of the mandatory additional purchases, it is desirable: a good tripod, several batteries and a box.

Advantages: Easy setup, touch screen, stabilization, waterproof without additional accessories, voice control (cool and useful thing).

Disadvantages: As for me, the battery is rather weak (the price of the size, 5 minutes of shooting is minus 7-8% of the charge), a spare battery for active shooting must have. Wildly heats up when shooting (maybe I got married, of course, I don't know, I will watch).

Comment: This is my first experience with action cameras. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the purchase.

The picture quality is very good, but night and artificial light photography has some problems. Stabilization at night does not matter .. at moments of shaking, the image "lathers", while in "auto" mode it is still very "noisy". If you turn on the protune settings and adjust them for night shooting, then the situation becomes better, but not ideal. there is a problem of image flickering. In NTSC mode, lamps (chandeliers, lamps, etc.) and images from the projector on the screen or TV flicker. Nothing that can be adjusted in protune helps. In PAL mode, the lights stop blinking but the screens from the projector still flickers in the frame (when shooting children's parties, for example, or concerts).

Comment: If you take this camera for shooting outdoor sports events, then it is good. As for shooting indoors, "flickering" may occur, which can only be eliminated during editing. Perhaps this is the problem of my model. Compared to Robin ZED 5 (my second camera) it loses in those moments that I described above. On Zedke there are no such problems and there are more settings.

Comment: The camera was purchased for high-quality shooting in any environment, since the size of this camera allows you to carry it with you everywhere. I was impressed by the quality of the stabilizer - it works very effectively. The picture quality is excellent. An interesting function of protection against water - it even allows you to immerse the camera up to 10 meters in water. The replaceable battery is a very useful feature. The first impressions of the purchase so far are the most enthusiastic, but I have not used it much, one might say, in test mode. I would still venture to recommend this camera for purchase, if the price does not scare you. In my opinion, it is greatly overstated.

I can say one thing, if you are planning to buy an action camera, then it definitely makes sense to take something as decent as possible, especially if you take it "for a try" as I did, because a simple model turned out to be just a waste of money, while it did not cost so much that it was very cheap. it worked - a whole trip or two, but from the first day of use there was a feeling that it was something wrong, there is no such thing at all.

Whatever one may say, no other camera pulls up to GoPro, I advise you to try it, it's like with iPhones, you took it and you will never refuse
