Disadvantages: Soap picture. It really is. There is something to compare. (SJCAM 4000, Xiaomi Yi, Ion Adventure, A-100). It can be seen that the picture is artificially blurred, while the pictures are sharp. The sound in the box practically does not write. On horizontal objects (wires) "ladders" are noticeable, which is also not good. There is noise in the dark, but not very critical for such a camera.

Comment: Nevertheless, the overall impressions are positive, since the picture turns out to be soapy, but smooth and stabilized.

Advantages: 1. Not afraid of heavy snow without boxing (but a protective lens is needed). 2. Is not afraid of shaking when placing the camera on the snowboard. 3. Convenient and simple menu. 4. The camera and remote control are recharged from the smartphone charger. 5. It is very convenient to control the camera from the remote control.

Disadvantages: 1. Overpriced for a set with a remote control. 2. There is no strap for the remote control over the jacket. The strap fits from the old model of the remote control, but if this is not possible, then you need to do it yourself ...

Comment: Took the Sony HDR-AS50R to the ski resort. I was very pleased. The only thing I would advise is to buy a second battery, one is clearly not enough for the day of filming.

Comment: I bought it for snowboarding.I didn’t take pictures, but the "stub" is definitely super! The control panel (watch) is convenient, but a slightly enlarged strap (for equipment) would be good. Incl. and off. from the remote control. On button recording is good, you can press with gloves. Now I'm going to Cyprus to check the boxing. I think I'll unsubscribe in the comments. I don't have enough batteries, I want one like in my Nikon DSLR (enough for the whole vacation, 14 days). You will need to buy more ... I am satisfied with the quality of the shooting, although the "barrel" after the DSLR kills :))) The proprietary software for video editing is, to put it mildly, nonsense ... Or for a big fan;) I advise the camera to all those who are not chasing fashion (hello GoPro!). The price is biting today, it is worth considering. I don't see any alternative price / quality of shooting for myself. Therefore, I bought it, bought it like a stock for 24,000 rubles (with a watch). Everywhere the price of a set is ~ 29990 rubles.

Comment: I’m not extreme and don’t ride anything, so the camera was originally bought for a trip to the seaside vacation. The camera shoots great underwater, because the set comes with a box with a flat lens, unlike other older models. With the filming on the trip I coped with my task, the only thing is that the battery is not very large, fortunately I thought of charging it from a powerbank from the phone. Then for some time she lay idle, sometimes she got to take pictures of the family for a walk, once they took them with them to the water park, and the child also likes to play with her - he shoots all sorts of his plays with toys. And now I also learned that it can be used as a DVR, since it has a rewriting function, and you can power it from the cigarette lighter via a usb cable even with the battery removed! The quality, of course, is much better than my recorder, and the capture angle is wider. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase and recommend it as a good value for money / features, if you want a good branded thing and not some Chinese rubbish.

Advantages: boxing comes with a straight lens, super !! No distortion underwater !! The stabilizer works well. Excellent optics compared to other brands !!!

Comment: My first action camera. But there is experience of use (thanks to friends). Looking ahead, I expected much worse, and therefore exceeded all expectations! There are more than enough shooting modes and their quality options. Video in 1920 * 1080 50p with Vivid + color gamut is not inferior to its closest competitor, and in combination with excellent stabilization it surpasses. Night photography is good, but not perfect. I did not understand by the mountings whether they are suitable from AS20 or not.In any case, the original ones are definitely not worth the money that the manufacturer asks for them. Taking into account the purchase in one very good store at a price lower than the market price by 20-30%, the conclusion is a good price-quality ratio. And for the closest competitor, the price tag differs by half in the lower direction.

Comment: The first action camera. We took it on a trip. The result is over 5 hours of excellent quality video. A great camera for your money to get your first shooting experience. You can buy a cooler filling cheaper, but these are usually Chinese. Many will say that here they say you pay for the brand, but this is not so.

Advantages: I liked very much the color rendition, detail, image stabilization at 5 +++++, clearly keeps the horizon line if used as a recorder, the battery lasts for a long time, ease of use, convenient remote control, a large selection of mounts at affordable prices.

Comment: This is my 1st action camera. Before that I took Gopro several times. Sony has much better image stabilization and faster exposure settings, including when changing lighting conditions. Photos on action cameras (Sony, Gopro, Xiaomi, etc.) are not bad because they are not intended for this. Decent photos come out on a normal phone. I recorded it from the bike handlebar mount. The illumination was shaking decently, the branches, dust, mud, rain ... it turned out great, nice to look at. I shot at dusk and in the evening in the mode of increased saturation, the picture was pleasantly surprised. Smartphone control is convenient. Swam, dived with an arm mount. In underwater shooting mode, too, all the fire. I did not like the absence of a protective box, a very meager selection of accessories and their high cost (!!!). The proprietary head mount is not praised, they say that it falls on its side. Before buying, think about what you will shoot, and what mounts you need for this, and how much these mounts cost. IN AQUABOX, THE SOUND IS PRACTICALLY NOT HEARED! FROM AQUABOX PROTECTION OR LENS PROTECTION! It turns out that if you need to protect the camera from mechanical damage and a little rain, you will have to do without sound. Sadness, trouble ... Immediately order 1-2 batteries and a USB flash drive of at least 64 GB. RECOMMEND!
