Plus, it records stereo. 4) The battery lasts for a long time (about 2 hours) if you need more: Take the portable battery, disconnect the protective cover, connect the USB cable and work endlessly (But there is a caveat - at this moment the camera is powered by your portable, the battery is not charging (!! !), if the cord is disconnected, it will work from the battery, the recording will not be interrupted and this is good)

Disadvantages: 1) Software wind protection, makes the sound of the wind even worse. 2) When filming noisy events (concerts, rehearsals), wheezing appears from the microphone on the recording. 3) Her weight is too big ... It is inconvenient to work with some mounts (for example, on a hand) 4) The lens is large, there is a possibility to scratch the lens (!!!). But, fortunately, Sony has developed a special protection (a small piece of plastic and plexiglass for 3000 r), which is better to purchase.

Comment: Wonderful camera, switched to it from my old AS20. Whoever thinks that camera ergonomics is not suitable for shooting any moments, then you are deeply mistaken, if you choose the mount correctly, then it does not cause ANY problems. There are subtleties, for example, despite the fact that the plastic is of high quality, after a couple of hikes in the mountains, the camera jolted enough (small dents) - be careful. The camera is perfect for taking it with you at any time, a large battery, it fits comfortably in your hand (I took it for a whole wedding to a friend). I use a set of Chinese mounts for GoPro, I ordered from aliexpress. Genuine SONY accessories are ugly expensive. The camera is great, throw away the stereotypes, it's not only GoPro that makes good action cameras!)

Advantages: 1) Opt. stabilizer - no one on the market has such offers. Thanks to him, the video does not feel sick, you need to edit less, and shooting active scenes in the dark looks much better than any other camera 2) Convenient power button - even with large gloves, even boxing gloves, it is easy to press. 3) Human control menu - now the camera is configured for one or two (compared to previous versions) 4) Get rid of the fish eye! 5) Finally, a standard tripod connector on the camera itself without an adapter! 6) Good stereo sound. 7) Great picture without an editor! 8) DD of the camera is better than in previous models

Disadvantages: 1) Dull GPS - the camera writes tracks with a frequency of 2 hertz, and measures the speed with a frequency of 1 hertz (i.e., once a second). There is no point in talking about any dynamics here. 2) Large lens - the protective glass itself has doubled, although the size of the matrix lens is the same as before. This increases the risk of damaging it. Since the center of gravity of the camera is now shifted forward and when falling, the impact will be in the lens. Comment: I myself have used many action cameras, such as gopro 3be, 3 silver, sj 4000, sj m10 +, sony as100, 200, and now 300 is the best of the whole set. the picture is comparable to 200, but a higher dd and a stub by 300 makes it a leader.

What will happen if you hang the camera even on a simple steadicam is scary to imagine. 2. Sound. It's not just amazing, it's just good, stereophonic, like in any normal camera. I have not tried software wind protection and I am not going to, because I am more than sure that nothing is better than a piece of foam rubber. 3. The presence of a microphone input. I always thought that he should be in the camera, but in order to be in action ... Even, in my opinion, this is too good a bonus. 4. Form. For those accustomed to the shape of a GoPro, this camera may be uncomfortable. I thought so too. Before I bought it. It turned out to be very comfortable! It is convenient to hold it in your hands, it is convenient to walk with it, it is convenient to take pictures of yourself. The only thing if you attach it to your chest will stick out strongly. It is the same with the head mount on the forehead. But this, by God, is a trifle. I fixed it on my head, tried it - it doesn't interfere. By the way, thanks to the manufacturer for the thread on the camera itself - you don't need any additional pribluds to attach it to a tripod or selfie stick. 5. Speed ​​of work. I am very glad that in order to start recording, you just need to press the "record" button (set in the settings) and the recording is started. Literally in a second (if not less). You don't need to turn on, open, launch anything. 6. Quality of shooting. It's good. Not magical, but good. 60fps videos are smoother. At night and in low light conditions, the camera does not shoot great, but for such a lens it is quite decent. By the way, I shoot in natural colors. The picture turns out to be faded at first glance, but the saturation is then easily given by color correction.

Disadvantages: 1. Price. Yes, the camera is still expensive, despite all its advantages.Do not forget that you will also have to spend money on a memory card and an additional battery (yes, one will not last for a long time - for a maximum of 40 minutes, and then in airplane mode). 2. No complete set. The kit contains only an aqua box and that's it (I don't count the battery and cord). However, this is not surprising, everything is in Sonya's style. 3. No lens cap. It seems to be a trifle, but it is very inconvenient. You have to carry the camera all the time in the aqua box, every time you get it out of there and put it back. Wearing your camera just like that makes scratching the bulging lens not only easy, but very easy. And it will be even easier to hit it (which happens all the time). By the way, I still haven't solved this problem. 4. Lack of display. Yes, it seems to be not the most important function for an action camera, but still it would be much more convenient to shoot with it. I know that there is some kind of extra pribluda, but there is not the slightest desire to overpay for it.

Comment: Finally, if you take a camera, be sure to attach a lace on your wrist to it (thanks to Sonya for at least made an eyelet for it). The camera is small, the body is slippery, it is as easy as shelling pears to drop it, and the lace will protect you from this. True, every time you put the camera into the aqua box, the lace will have to be removed - with it it will not fit there. P. S. I thought for a very long time which camera to take and thought for a long time whether to take this one when I found out about it. But now I understand that I made the right choice. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, the poorest grade. But fantastic stabilization and good stereo sound paired with a wide-angle lens is the best choice for vlogs, travel and more. A real action camera.

The stabilization is the best. Zeis lenses. I see no reason to overpay for 4k. Recommend.

We rode with friends in the mountains and filmed with different cameras - this one and GoPro Hero3 +. Disadvantages: The main disadvantage is that due to the presence of an optical stub, the camera became not quite action-packed. A friend's camera was attached to the snowboard, at some point the attachment loosened and the camera began to beat against the board with a not very large amplitude. About 20 seconds of such skating - and defocusing occurred. As a result, the lens assembly is replaced. My camera, on the other hand, fell from a height of one meter onto the asphalt (in a protective box) - the result is the same, defocusing. Only the lens and the main board were already changed for me. The only consolation - in both cases, they were changed under warranty, there were no problems. But after the end of the warranty, such repairs will not be very cheap. And the situation when the camera breaks down, for example, at the very beginning of a vacation or vacation, is unlikely to please anyone.

Comment: despite the shortcomings from GoPro and Sony, I will still choose Sony - picture quality, for me, is still more important

Advantages: The good quality of the shooting, coupled with the compactness, made me very happy. Plus supports a large amount of memory cards, up to 256 GB. I myself use Samsung MB-MC128GA 128 GB, with maximum recording quality settings and a wide angle - five and a half hours of video recording comes out. I also really like the ability to charge the camera from a power bank, and even shoot at the same time.

Disadvantages: You need to get used to hand-held photography. Especially when you are standing and trying to shoot a panorama with the camera, turning the body and holding the camera, it would seem, evenly, as a result, the video produces a necessarily blocked horizon. Perhaps it's just that I have crooked hands and I'm just not used to it yet. But when shooting yourself on the go or just some objects in front of you, everything is fine and the horizon is relatively flat.

Comment: I want to add that when shooting yourself from your hand at a wide angle, you need to hold the camera with your hand as if aiming at your neck with the lens, otherwise, as a result, the picture will have too much space above your head. I chose this particular model and not with 4K simply because I shoot in fullHD, otherwise it is identical to the X3000, so I don't see any reason to overpay yet. On the ion, I scratched the lens, and that's it .... the jamb is not how not to remove it, I tried to loop it - the result is double, but it did not please ...
