From the Optimal Power Plan, it picks up frequency almost instantly, and not like Ive Bridge. In general, all 1C developers should definitely take it, our hourly rate is too high to save on hardware. I would also recommend it as an MSSQL + 1C server, since it will be the 2nd most efficient solution at the moment for databases up to 50 users. Better - only i7-8700k. Heating became a fly in the ointment. No, the heat dissipation is within normal limits, but the temperature jumps at the core are strange. But Intel says this is the norm. At the same time, in comparison with the i7-7700k, they are much lower (that stone was hot), but in terms of performance they are the same. But I was just used to the i5-3450s, which was as cold as my ex's heart.

I looked at many reviews and chose between 9600k and 9400f, I'll say right away that integrated graphics were not needed, since there is a discrete video card, the unlocked multiplier was also not important, since the motherboard is based on b360, and overclocking is not possible on it. According to tests, it turned out that without overclocking this processor in games (and this is the main use of a computer) shows itself on average 10% -15% weaker than 9600k, and at a price it is 40% cheaper, you also need to take into account that it is cold and normal works with a standard cooler out of the box, unlike 9600k, which has a higher TDP and the cooler is not included (even in the BOX version). I was pleasantly surprised that in all games it shows frequencies of 3.9 GHz, apparently this is the turbo boost that works like that. I recommend buying to those who are limited in finances or to those for whom overclocking the processor is not relevant.

I'm afraid to look at i7 at all. And i7-920, I remember, took it for 12k not so long ago ... oh, it was a good time - the grass is greener and a dollar for 30 rubles -_-

If we take 9600k purely for toys, then it is inferior to i7-8700k, 9700k is only 5-10 percent, and in some projects even on a par.
