Comment: I work professionally with a jigsaw, every working day for several hours. Mainly for metal. Very convenient and unpretentious in work. A quick change of the file is convenient (not always, by the way), but it affects the durability of the unit and the quality of the cut. All in all, quite a handy and angry tool, as a Makita should be :)

Confidently blows sawdust off the cut line, but many complain about this fact (maybe they got a defect?). I have not tested the splinter plate yet, I do not know whether it fulfills its function or not. In general, I am satisfied with the jigsaw, how he will behave in the future, time will tell. P.S. More than a year of active use of the jigsaw has passed. There were no problems, nothing broke. True, I regularly take care of the instrument and use it with care. I did not like the implementation of the chip suction. Firstly, you need to additionally buy a rubber adapter for the vacuum cleaner, and secondly, this chip sucker is constantly trying to fall off.
