Advantages: It turned out to be extremely reliable. On the hands of the year 4. Recently it has been very actively exploited. I counted, more than 60,000 holes were drilled and just now it sparkled. It's time to change the brushes. Believe me, it is very rare for an unprofessional tool to serve so well. And this is the most important thing for work.
Disadvantages: Ease of use. I agree with almost all the previous descriptions of the shortcomings. There is a quieter and more comfortable tool, but here you also need to look at the price.
Comment: As an advice to purchase this model or not I can not give others. The technique is such a thing as you are lucky. If it fits in your hand, then this is yours, if not, then look for something else. It's just that among the hammerless drills the choice is small (in terms of price quality).

Advantages: The button works well. The speed is easily adjustable by pressing. Small for its power. In the hand lies like a glove. I did not try to load heavily.
Disadvantages: The sound comes out squeaky, thin at full speed. Not nice ...
Comment: In our city, 3190 rubles is the cheapest. I bought this one. It is unpleasant.

Advantages: Ergonomics and quality-price. Complete absence of axial runout. Smoothness in a set of speed and the absence of extraneous sounds. Sold without ballast (box, boxes and drills)
Disadvantages: There are practically no serious ones worth paying attention to. And from the minor inconveniences: 1. A short and rigid network cable (it is treated with a complete replacement with KG 2x0.75 - 3 .... 5m) 2. Slightly heavy to hold in one hand and inconvenience in support with the help of the second (it is inconvenient to hold the second the hand slides onto the rotating chuck) 3. When working at high speeds and lateral displacement (boring holes), constant unwinding of the chuck (it is treated only by replacing the chuck (with a quick-clamping-trickle chuck (the one for impact drills)) or reducing the speed with all the consequences. . There is no blocking of the engine, i.e. there is no possibility of wrapping the cartridge with one hand (sometimes infuriates)
Comment: Suitable for small housework mainly in its quality, drill for wood, plastic, metal, from 0.8 to 10mm. No need to drill brick, floor tiles (wall tiles are possible, but rarely) and concrete. Sometimes it can be used as a screwdriver, the main thing is to have time to release the button in time so as not to roll the slot at the screws and screws. Perfect switching to reverse, no need to wait until it stops completely (better not to do this)

Advantages: Compact, relatively lightweight drill. Correct design. Good ergonomics. Good build quality. The reverse button is conveniently made. There is almost no beating of the cartridge.
Disadvantages: 1. Too short (2 m) and harsh cable, which, unlike KG cable, looks like some kind of soft PVC. Is "Makita" - a world company - so greedy that it saves on "penny" cables ?! I had to replace it with KG 2 * 0.75 3 m. It became much more convenient. 2. During operation, an unpleasant smell such as burnt insulation is generated. The smell appears to be coming from the gear lubricant. 3. At high speeds, the drill starts to emit an unpleasant high-frequency sound - in general, it starts to "beep". 4. The manufacturer underestimates the weight of the drill (1.2 kg). Weight without cable - 1.33 kg. 5. To work with one hand is still too heavy.
Comment: I believe that each type of work should have its own tool. I bought this drill purely for drilling at home and in the country. This is a better solution than any combination (drilling / punching) 500W drill. But the farm also needs to have a hammer drill. The power of the drill - 450 W - is quite enough. Advantages: Small, convenient, normal plastic without burrs. For the house to drill wood and metal is the very thing. The cartridge does not hit and does not play.
Disadvantages: I started it, gave it a little work, and an unpleasant smell went. I disassembled and went nuts, the gear is generally dry, lubricants are a quarter of a teaspoon and that is not in place. I filled it with a good litol24 of Gazpromneft, now it works fine.
Comment: You can take it, but immediately disassemble it and fill it with grease. For home drilling and as an electric screwdriver is excellent. The stirrer still does not need to be inserted into it, 450W. it will be rather weak.

Advantages: Reverse. Blocking of max rpm. Smooth speed control. Looks reliable from the outside.
Disadvantages: - A bit heavy for working with one hand - during long work the hand gets very tired and you still have to hold it with the other hand (especially when grinding), and the structure is not intended for this. But even so, the main hand still gets tired quickly. - The reverse switch is made doubtful. It looks flimsy. - Stinks when working. The stench comes from the ventilation slots on the case. As they say here - grease burns. It looks like the truth. - Sometimes when the drill starts, a spark breaks through the cracks inside. I don't know if this is critical. - The instruction has been translated into Russian from the hands that's bad.
Comment: My first drill. There is nothing to compare with yet. I worked with her for 1 day. I took it mainly for grinding leather and rare screwdriving. I will probably update the review later. RPM lock doesn't work as I hoped. Those. you cannot block any revolutions you need - you can block them only at the maximum, pulling the trigger all the way, which is not great. Plus, the system works quite cunningly - to press the trigger, then the block will not work. It is necessary to squeeze the trigger and press the block at the same time. Himself doped not immediately. Someone complained about the lack of smoothness of the revs. You have a marriage (or crooked hands). I start, lightly pulling the trigger - the revs are barely going. I squeeze smoothly - the revolutions are gradually, but briskly increasing. I don't understand those who complain about the power. You bought a drill, not a hammer drill. It is NOT INTENDED for concrete or brick. You eat soup with a fork and complain about the inconvenience. I do not understand those who complain about the bundle. You see, there is no Case. No drills. Do you want extra. buns? Get expensive models that include them. This model is economical for those who do not want to overpay for what is not needed (like me). Successful drilling and be sure to read the instructions before starting work.

Advantages: Japanese build quality for 2010 release
Disadvantages: At high speed, the engine whistles not very pleasantly.
Comment: I bought it in 2010, at a ridiculous price for our time of 1500 r (Japanese assembly) For the first time it seemed really heavy for 1.3 kg, but then I got used to it and the weight practically ceased to be felt. Especially before buying, I looked at drills with a battery, but I didn't want to fool around with charging. At the dacha, all the sockets are at hand, and if you work far away, then there is an extension cord. It is convenient to work with this drill with one hand, but for high-altitude work it is suitable with a restriction. I want to warn you right away that over time, a backlash of the cartridge appeared, but this is because the drill was used in the construction of a house and kitchen, they polished a lot. I endured everything, I try to regularly serve myself, from 10 g I work for her every summer.

Advantages: An excellent model, very convenient and powerful, I made a lot of things with its help, has been serving for more than 4 years, I recently disassembled it to clean it, so all bearings, gears, engine brushes are ok, no backlashes!
Disadvantages: She is missing the case, while I keep it in the box!
Comment: A very decent drill for home use!

Advantages: Lightweight, shockless, cheap, bearing-mounted gearbox
Disadvantages: Disgusting Chuck, Short Cord
Comment: The inconvenient reverse (rotation in the opposite direction from the switch) was fixed by changing the wires. Disgusting cartridge, poorly holding and unwinding immediately replaced with REM. I also changed the cord to a rubber 4 meter cord. There was little lubrication from the gearbox, so I had to change it. In general, the drill is good, but it requires investment and direct hands. For most, it's better to get something off the shelf, like the KRESS hammer drills, but there are hardly any.

Advantages: Lightweight, small, good speed, affordable, convenient, ideal for drilling wood and brick, a decent load of 6 hours a day can be maintained without problems.
Disadvantages: There are no disadvantages.
Comment: For a year now, the drill has been working with constant load every day for several hours. What is written in the comment above just made me laugh. I'm a girl, and I work with a drill every day and on weight. The first time, the time of habit, hands need to get used to both weight and grip. An excellent drill, with good speed, there have been no problems yet, I have been working for a year, more than one million holes have been drilled, no complaints. You need to take care of the tool, change the consumables, and lubricate the parts, and not force it at work. March 2011. I will add a review. It's February 2020 - Makita is still alive, the wear of the rotor from the brushes is like a stump on the road, the cartridge loosened strongly, was not repaired, only the graphite brushes were changing. Drill assembly - Japan. I don't drill for her for about a year, I just grind the parts, so the load is less and the runout does not affect. I am looking for a replacement for it, the same model, but the assembly comes across China, and the shape of the case is already different, more cumbersome.
