Advantages:
Its most important advantage is its smooth start-up and smooth engine operation. Power: 2300 W, and 4000 rpm: (less from competitors). Comfortable handle for work. Drops softly and without backlash. Stable on the table (does not stagger). Easy disk change. There is a carrying handle. Affordable replacement of carbon brushes. The instructions include a drawing where each part is numbered and it has its own code number. There are only 85 of them, so there will be no big problems with the repair. Disadvantages:
Slight play in the protective casing.
Comment:
I almost bought Status AC2300. But when they turned it on, he immediately refused. There is no smooth start, strong beating of carbon brushes, and the disk walks in figure eight. I went to another store. There were 2 models: Maktek and Metabo. I tested both. Maktek has a very hard engine. Well, the truth is it is cheaper by $ 100. Metabo paid $ 285 for Metabo (Jan 2012)

I bought it in September, the whole machine part is outdated by 20 years, the vice is not comfortable. A smooth start is declared - the handle just flies to the top from such a 'smooth' start, very noisy at idle. The spark arrester at the foot is too small, consider that it does not help in any way, separately hung an aluminum sheet of flooring on the wall. This saw is a utopia, of course, but cutting 100 * 100 * 4 bars is very good.
