I work as an intercity carrier and thought about buying a radar detector visited me for a long time. And not just a recorder with the now popular speed recorder, but a detector that will work with portable cameras and radars. And at the same time, I would like it not to react to everything, like most radar detectors. Having decided that expensive = high-quality, I decided to monitor the market for devices more expensive than 20k with the now fashionable function of filtering electronic signatures not radars (in short - Z signatures). It turned out that there are exactly two such radar detectors. One old and one new. Naturally, I decided to take a new one, so I got the Neoline S300. Installation in Sprinter did not cause any problems, I placed both their long-range module and the GPS antenna without any problems at all. I had to tinker with the settings and deal with the modes, but there are no problems with false positives at all. Only in the case of notification. By the way, there are a lot of settings. You can customize anything for yourself. In general, for those who need a cool radar detector that detects all cameras from afar and does not beep every minute - I recommend it!

The radar was purchased for three reasons: it has a long-range module that detects radars at a greater distance than most other radars; there is a signature filter mode, which practically does not pass the left signals; it costs 15 thousand less than the only taxiway with the same functionality. In my opinion, these advantages are more than enough.

Advantages: 1) Hidden installation. 2) Long-range EXD module (according to the seller's assurances, the detection range is doubled compared to conventional modules) 3) There are no problems with the GPS module if there is athermal glass in the car. 4) Filters Z-signatures. Moreover, he sees the radars that work at these frequencies (for example, the Gyrfalcon). 5) Voice notification about radars (type, distance, average speed and maximum permissible speed on a given road section) 6) Everything is configurable. I spent about half an hour on all the settings, but I did everything as convenient as possible for myself.
Disadvantages: 1) Price.

Advantages: The Z-signature filter actually works. Works stably with all radar systems. X-COP universal mode. I enable it by default. The build, as expected from a gadget for this price, is perfect.
Disadvantages: Automatically switches to Turbo mode if it loses the satellite signal (this happens very rarely, but I noticed it a couple of times). Not cheap.
Comment: I've been skating with him for a month, but I haven't found any shortcomings other than the indicated one (although this may not be a bug, but a feature).

Advantages: Price, functionality, stealth, range
Disadvantages: not yet
Comment: A full-fledged alternative to Whistler 3600, only 10 thousand cheaper. Does not pass any radar or camera, filters interference, and the degree of filtering at different speeds is different. Hidden installation is also a plus. Although it is unrealistic to install it yourself, if you have never done this before. I was also bribed by the fact that the pd spectra would be detected only from the "close" position. I haven't checked it yet, because I haven't traveled to Europe, but I often go to Estonia, and there are spectra ...

Advantages: Sweeps away all the interference, catches an arrow from afar, notifies long before the radar sees me.
Disadvantages: Doooo
Comment: In principle, I read the reviews, they have already written about all the advantages. I will only note the fact that on a straight line the S300 is able to detect an arrow from a distance of MORE than a kilometer. I do not know of any other radars that are capable of this.

Advantages: + small external monitor. it is convenient to install almost anywhere on the parprise. I installed it right in front of the dashboard (on 3m tape), everything is fine. + lack of priblud on the windshield and wires as is the case with a conventional radar detector.
Disadvantages: overpriced, because: - I do not see any special "know-how" in the structure spaced into 3 blocks, but it is convenient, but not for this money - the functionality and operation algorithm is the same as for other radars, price cat ~ 6-10 t .R. - for 2 months of operation, I rigidly hung a couple of times, I had to disconnect the power cable, because did not respond to buttons. - the inability to change the tone of the signal to certain radars "for yourself" (as, for example, on the silverstone monaco s1) - blunt (in principle, like many) GPS + radar part - falls silent when a radar is detected by GPS, then screams heart-rendingly after the end of the zone certain gps - 3 positions for switching the monitor backlight - "bright" (very bright), "dark" (even more or less) and "off" - I would prefer it, but you can't understand whether the device works at all or not, especially after the freezes described above. In some detectors in this mode, from time to time, a light dot runs across the monitor, which is very convenient because it is immediately clear that the device is in working order. - in the x-cop mode on the track it recognizes radars very close in my opinion, and in the "track" and "turbo" modes there is a lot of interference - usually it catches a lot of non-existent "radars", or a very long distance of detecting radars, which is also not ice - you are constantly in some tension.
Comment: The device is constructively convenient, but on this, perhaps, all its advantages in comparison with other models end. I bought it forcibly - because of the heated windshield (on the Audi Q7), through which the signal of both the gps part and the radar part passes very weakly. Neoline, on the whole, did not please me very much - against the background of a good design, completely ordinary (mediocre) functionality, an algorithm of operation and settings + device freezing. It's not worth your money (~ 25tr).Before that, I used Silverstone Monaco S1 on another car - an excellent model in terms of functionality, settings, sensitivity and price. You can even customize the tone of the signals for yourself. If not for the frontal troubles, I would have left Monaco.

Advantages: false positive filter, reliable installation, build quality, gps.
Disadvantages: pleasure is not cheap
Comment: I recently installed this radar, it works stably, an irreplaceable thing, although this model is not cheap. No problem with false positives, it always catches really. There are a lot of functions, it pleases, they are all necessary. And, of course, hidden installation is a big plus.

Advantages: Good layout, all modules are very compact. The database has been updated. gps is stable unlike most budget models. The display is informative, the control is clear the first time. In general, it is the most successful model to date.
Disadvantages: did not reveal
Comment: Definitely worth the money, I recommend it.

Advantages: Convenient installation of all modules, is able to remember the assigned settings. I put it on a Mazda at a cabin temperature of about -11 - everything worked fine. A cool protection against detection is installed, and the modules themselves are almost invisible, so this is rather an additional parameter. Let the small, backlit display be the final factor.
Disadvantages: The price if only, I agree that the model is better than conventional detectors, but whether the technology is revolutionary - not at all.
Comment: As for the 360 viewing angle - I'm not sure if this is so. It obviously pulls for three hundred, but the rear models always catch worse. This is the standard.
