Comment: Immediately after the purchase, I drove 1,500 km, in different regions, now I know where what is worth. Yes, it catches satellites very quickly. From the beginning there were only positive emotions, but as I wrote above, as we approached Moscow, it began. Range K and trill. Here they wrote Kris does not catch well, I have not come across such, at least not worse than the supra. Maybe someone can help my review.

Advantages: This is not my first detector. I was always confused by the inaccuracy of the devices, especially in the conditions of contaminated radio air. There are practically no false positives in this model.

Disadvantages: The only drawback is, perhaps, the voice acting. Since the device uses a voice, it is annoying, and the "silent" mode is uninformative.

Comment: You can reflash your voice pack with every update. From the end of 2017, you can choose to download an update package with reduced voice guidance, which is very correct. However, in Moscow I drive exclusively in the Extra MUTE mode, which notifies it beeps in case of a potential violation - for example, at a speed of 75 km / h in zone 60 (+20). This alert is customizable. In short, a well-developed apparatus.

Comment: Actually, I'm surprised. A really good radar detector, it seems that the signature part even works fine.Before him, I did not have such devices, but over the past few years, radars have been installed in the city and fines have begun to come. The amounts seem to be small, but regular. I thought about taking an anti-radar detector, at first I took it from friends and was even disappointed in such things - there was nothing on the highway, but in the city of ATAS, I was constantly distracting with false signals, I did not like it. But then I decided to take a chance with a signature and it's really good. But you need to configure and be sure to deal with the utility that comes with the base - to learn how to flash and change the parameters, otherwise it gores with chatter. It happens that it catches Arrow late, 150-200 meters, but I noticed that it happens in difficult conditions (turning, descending a hill + lack of conditions for the reflected signal ..) Addition: I found a strange thing when detecting Chris. In ideal conditions, he catches a kilometer, but sometimes Chris catches only 150 meters ... The conditions are close to ideal. It turns out that a new generation of Chris is caught very close ...

Advantages: So far, he has shown the complete absence of pseudos in Kemerovo. There is a SMART mode. Before that, there was Sho Mi 900STR, which did not subside after 40 km / h. (But on the long distance he warned about ambushes, saved me a lot of money on fines, BUT after 2 years he "ordered to live a long time") We will see on the intercity. In general, I need maximum sensitivity from him on the intercity in the absence of alarms on the systems of "blind zones" of other cars walking along the highway. (Sho mi yelled like a victim from them, they had to either overtake or let go forward.)

Disadvantages: Like others, I would say that a minor drawback that does not affect the quality is excessive verbosity of the voice accompaniment! "Stationary radar, speed limit sixty kilometers per hour!" What for so? In simpler - "limit sixty" and that's enough. And from experience, also as a wish - my Sho mi 900 had such a function as night and day illumination (BUT there is a light sensor!) In the evening, the display dims, and during the day it is lighter. Very comfortably. (By the time of day they would have made at least an option)

Comment: Much smaller in life than in the picture. In general, Sho Mi is a very dairy competitor. 10/16/17 came out 2 versions of the firmware with cut-down voice acting and full-fledged, I put the cut down and finally got an ideal device for myself !!!

Advantages: An excellent radar detector, I have not found any minuses yet.

Disadvantages: Well, perhaps a little clumsy database update procedure, with disabling the firewall and antivirus, but not criminal.

Comment: You can take, the price tag is adequate

Comment: From myself I want to give two advice: if you are going to buy a radar detector, pay attention to the GPS receiver, you shouldn't even take it without it. Many cameras are now installed with optical fixation i.e. do not give any signals and the usual radar will simply be silent. And the second point: updating the radar database should be simple - Bluetooth, wi-fi, (automatic). I met reviews in which buyers criticized GPS, they say, with such success, you can install a paid program on a smartphone and successfully use it as a radar detector. Checked it out, a pitiful excuse. Moreover, I am sure that you will not turn on your smartphone every time you travel (sooner or later you will forget to do this)

Advantages: Quick start, compact, nice design. It is very good that he does not yell in vain, apparently the signatures really work. The display, in addition to the letter symbol of the range of action, shows the radiation power, it is convenient to navigate by it.

Disadvantages: Satisfied at the moment.

Comment: For a long time I chose my radar detector, weighed all the pros and cons. Determined after reading numerous reviews. The radar does an excellent job, it works effectively against all kinds of radars, and has good protection against interference.

Advantages: does not squeak in vain, available updates, off. sound until a certain speed is set, inform. display

Comment: very pleased with the device) I think if you do not blame under 200, it is unlikely that letters of happiness will please ... I did not expect that there are already such RDs that do not react to everything ... in Saratov, they hung Cordons, they always take 500m (if in sounded back), after updating all controls of stop lines, traffic lights without problems, etc. ........ In short, I advise, but I chose 2 days and was not mistaken)))

Advantages: Clipping false signals. GPS. Settings for yourself. Sensitivity is an order of magnitude higher than others, tested on the track.

Disadvantages: Updated and, when turned on, signals K ... and does not boot. When you press any key, it boots and works fine. I think the firmware.

Comment: I just bought MONACO without S, passed it in 3 days, after the test without GPS. The sensitivity goes off scale, beeps for everything in the K range, in the city the whole brain has endured, although on the highway it catches luxuriously. In the range, City1 filters, but passes cameras that are not in the database, more precisely, it signals 50 meters away ... but already stuck for a fine. The same one with a signature filters out false signals, although not all, but eliminates 90%. If I change because of a glitch, then only for the same one. I reset the default settings and started to boot normally ... Conclusion, after the update - reset. It took 2 weeks, began to display the time incorrectly on the display, changed it to the same one. Apparently the primary glitch was a pathology (assembly marriage).

Advantages: The first thing that I liked - LOVE EVERYTHING :) Second, the price and quality for a budget radar detector, because top-end analogues cost more than 10t.r. Third, a lot of customization options.

Disadvantages: Not noticed! Yes, this model is no exception, there are false positives, but they are minimal. Kazan is not a small city, but there are five times false positives in a taxi in a taxi. This is normal, believe me, there is something to compare with :)
