Advantages:

Disadvantages:
Too heavy for its size (865 g.), The bag does not have a strap (but to carry it on the shoulder or neck, you can release the binoculars strap from under the bag flap), stupid single lens caps - they do not fit well, easily pop out, are not aligned together, not have a normal attachment to the belt, and on the eyepieces with excellent protective caps.

Gave it 3 years ago. Satisfied with the possession, can be fixed on a tripod by unscrewing the front cover of the central axis - under it is a hole for a tripod. Not every tripod will work, but an adapter can be purchased and then there is no problem. From 100 meters, the detail is simply magnificent - you can look at faces. I did not test it in the field.

For a long time I was looking for an ultra-wide-angle binocular with a field of 65 degrees-moderate magnification for a wide-angle view, so this binocular is what you need, the binoculars optics are at the highest level, the picture is clear sharp up to 80% of the field, bright ... the retractable eyecups are very convenient, the eyepieces are wide-angle, the design of the binoculars is of the Japanese type, although it is the Japanese binoculars, I will not say for sure, maybe so, the raincoat strap, everything is very fashionable, a bag made of polyester with Velcro, though it does not inspire much confidence, leather and leatherette with a zipper would be better .. spoils everything the same visible glue from under the prisms, binoculars tubes made of plastic, maybe metal, but in general, that's what you need.

Excellent aperture, you can see the beast in the field in the light of the moon. It is very sharp, it is pleasant to watch for a long time and at the same time the vision is not strained.
Disadvantages:
The lens caps are terrible - they come off the strap very easily due to the slot, i.e. their loss is close to the probability of 100% i.e. only a matter of time.Therefore, it is more correct to leave them in the box and never use them :(

I chose between this and Nikon Action EX 10x50 - yes, 10x brings it closer a little better, but due to strong aberration and shaking pictures - you can see no more in it than in Nikon Action EX 8x40, while 8x40 is lighter, more compact, cheaper. And unlike the Nikon Aculon series, the advantages in gas filling (moisture and dust resistance) and the metal bridge of the eyepiece (in the Aculon series it is plastic and when pressed against the eyebrows, the clarity of the picture walks) played a role in favor of Action EX. I also decided that in order to magnify more than 8 times, I'd better buy an inexpensive 12x-20x monocular. Those. using a high magnification is better when you know exactly where to look and what you need to consider. To review, moreover, from the hands, with a magnification greater than 8, in my opinion, is extremely difficult. With all this, I can see the flying satellites at 8 times with excellent clarity, and at the same time, thanks to the good viewing angle, they are easy to find in the sky.

The gorgeous aperture allows you to make observations at dusk and even at night (with poor lighting). There is slight distortion around the periphery. Also, due to the coated optics, there are subtle white distortions. All in all a sturdy, reliable binocular for a wide range of weather conditions. Recommended for hunting, fishing and relatively comfortable travel. Not recommended for long hikes (especially in mountainous terrain) due to its relatively large weight and size. I advise you to redo the lens cap mount. (the eyepiece protection cover is held more securely).
