Comment: Users of many past Pentax models complain about AF, here it works pretty well for everyday shooting, but still for active reporting and shooting sports, it's probably worth looking towards competitors, though much more expensive. The choice of lenses is quite large in various price categories, including those on the secondary market. Even the kit 18-55 from Pentax is quite decent (unlike some competitors), and so you can pick up good glasses in all ranges of focal lengths costing up to 15-20 thousand. Optics for Pentax are also made by third-party manufacturers. In addition, the K-70 is good friends with old manual glasses, some of the Soviet lenses were even made with a Pentax mount. Thus, the K-70 is unlikely to force the owners of other systems to switch to Pentax, but as the first DSLR it is probably the best choice, which is head and shoulders above the amateur DSLRs of the same price category (up to 50 thousand) competitors and is much cheaper than top-crop, many of which K-70 also lose.

Advantages: A compact camera with a wide range of possibilities. Comfortable to hold. Pleases a large iso range and minimal noise at the same time.

Disadvantages: Inconvenient to switch iso

Comment: Prior to that, I used the K-200 and the transition to the K-70 caused certain difficulties in studying the numerous capabilities of the camera. Since I like to take pictures in manual mode, it took some time to figure out what's what :) And I note that I still do not fully use all the resources of this camera, but there is room to grow! In general, I am satisfied with the camera. I love taking pictures of nature and take it anytime, anywhere, regardless of weather conditions. Photos were taken with Pentax K-70, lens 50-200.

Advantages: Pentax! Every lens to it is gold, the carcass is a complete royal flush. The price is what you need, because there is no upper display and there are a lot of plots on the upper spinner. But who uses them? White balance in the machine is a fairy tale! If you delve into the settings, you can adjust it so that it corrects the preset. Those. first I built manual presets (there are 6 of them!), and when I left the studio, use the correction. This is a huge time saver. And Pixel shift! - just awesome thing. Somehow I had a chance to play the drawings - the difference with and without a pixel-shift is beyond words. Fourfold sharpness! grows up. The description is endless. Maybe other vendors have excellent models, but this one is objectively better. There are no competitors for the notorious price-quality ratio. I didn’t have the old legendary lenses before, and I put Sovkov lenses through the adapter ring - nothing backlash. Ring - removed and set a thousand times - everything is like new. In short, the device is universal. I shot both the subject and the models - everything was smart. ergonomics - super. And he went out into nature, under the downpour - no problem. I won't say about winter - I didn't have a chance to work in the cold. In short - the apparatus is very good. serious. I only shoot in RAW. Video - everything is solid. Very cool effects work. What is sometimes useful for creativity is to estimate, for example, turn off the channel, almost at the hardware level! Immediately you get the result, immediately figure out how you will process it further.

Disadvantages: it does not have 60p at 1920x1080 full hd. there is no battery pen for it (but there is an adapter for power supply from the outlet)

Comment: As a result, it is reasonable to switch from it to the medium format. 645. A full frame ... Not that much it will be better. And 4 times more expensive.

Advantages: Compact, weather-resistant, exceptional image quality due to the phenomenally low sensor noise level (ISO 6400, for example, not for show, but quite working), continuity in control from previous models in the class, swivel screen, wi-fi for control from a smartphone.

Disadvantages: Has not changed: the noise of the shutter, the quality of the video (in my case it does not matter, but remains an objective disadvantage), the speed of continuous shooting - although 6 frames per second for this price and in this class is the best offer, but I expected progress in this :) equip with an additional battery handle.

The Pentax policy itself - all lenses with K, KA, KA2 mounts, etc., which were produced by Petax or for Pentax, can be used with the camera. Moreover, all the functionality of these lenses will be preserved. 3. Ability to use high ISO without significant loss of image quality and prohibitive ISO at a compromise quality. In this parameter, the K-70 is not inferior to the more expensive K-3-II and KR from Pentax, and the cameras from other manufacturers are clearly superior. 4. Powerful stabilizer. Moreover, the stabilizer in the camera stabilizes any lens, including ancient threaded ones. 5.24 Mpc. 6. For beginners - a large selection of custom programs. 7. Extremely low price for such a decent camera. 8. HDR and Pixel Shift functions. They are rarely used, but they help out in difficult times. For this price range, this is just a gift.

Disadvantages: All expectations were justified. Because when buying, I knew that I was taking. Perhaps two things are missing: the top screen (I got used to it on the K10D) and the battery could be more powerful. All this is on the K-3-II, but you don't want to spend another 20 thousand rubles on such trifles.

Comment: I highly recommend it to both novice photographers (they will figure it out, the camera is conducive to learning) and advanced amateurs. Incl. sometimes performing professional assignments. It can be said unambiguously that Rico-Pentax's camera was a success and after a series of inexpressive cameras in the amateur segment K-70 - a real breakthrough.

Advantages: Excellent very natural color reproduction, excellent travel whale lens (although I have 3 more lenses from third party manufacturers - wide angle, tele / macro and high aperture, whale lens is used 80% of the time). Ergonomics at a high level. Light weight and compactness with a whale lens allows for a business trip and at conferences to have a Pentax K70 in a bag with you at all times along with papers (for this, I made a special soft compartment with a lid in the travel bag). Also a great advantage is the low price of the system based on this camera. So for 350,000 rubles I have 4 lenses, a tripod, a flash, 3 bags, filters, etc. I would especially like to note the accurate adjustment of autofocus for third-party lenses: even a significant front focus on the Chinese was successfully adjusted. I also tried Helios 44M from the old zenith with a proprietary adapter. It shoots well, but the button of the jumping aperture of this lens clings to something and the camera sometimes freezes. Other rare lenses with M42 thread without jumping aperture and proprietary adapter without problems.

Disadvantages: The front steering wheel is close to the engaging lever.

Comment: Wishes to the manufacturer to promote the model more aggressively. When you give it to users of other manufacturers, many regret that they did not have the opportunity to hold it in their hands in the store.

Advantages: Great camera. Nothing to say. Convenient and ergonomic design, you can change settings with almost one hand, compact body. There is also a very good stabilizer in the camera. Of course, it is necessary to practice to remove the "wiring" by 1/30, but static by 1/5, and sometimes by 0.3 and even 0.6 from the hands, you can safely. The ISO settings are also very encouraging. Up to 1600 you can shoot quietly without fear of repercussions. But, if, nevertheless, there are noises, then they are easily choked with the help of an intra-chamber suppressor and, for example, the same Lightroom. You can shoot safely both in JPEG and RAW, you will be happy with the result. But, as for me, it's still better than RAW, since you can fix the jambs of your settings :) Fortunately, the "rakes" give a huge scope for action, and you can do whatever your heart desires with the frame. All in all, this is a very good semi-pro camera that targets the "pro" segment very strongly.

Comment:

Advantages: The camera is lightweight, compact and convenient. Autofocus is beyond praise, tenacious and fast. The bright viewfinder allows easy focusing with manual lenses, which is important for me. The old optics of the FA series also perform well. The price is also, in my opinion, the dignity of the shopping mall for K-1 and KP I didn't have enough money (((

Disadvantages: After switching from the K-5, I had to wean myself from the abundance of buttons, but in the M and P mode, in my opinion, they are not particularly needed. So this is not a disadvantage anymore, but a comparison.

Comment: The camera is solid, the photos are of excellent quality, I always liked the color of the Pentax and the K-70 is fine with that. I practically did not use the screen on K-5, but here I discovered the convenience of a rotary screen, especially for macro in nature))))

Advantages: Unrivaled functionality. Ease of use - all the necessary functions are "at hand". Crystal sharpness. Soft shutter operation. Beautiful drawing of a photograph.

Disadvantages: Lack of additional power handle + duplication of shutter buttons in accessories. Battery power is low. Especially in the cold.

Comment: An excellent camera for aspiring and experienced photographers. Especially good for travel.

Advantages: I can subscribe to previous reviews about the merits. Indeed, noises do not spoil even night shots, it is convenient to hold in hands. Waterproof (you can easily shoot in the rain), can be used with old lenses. Price - quality is optimal.

Disadvantages: There is not enough screen on top, as on other models (I gradually get used to it) A little inconvenient calling up frequently used menu settings. In our country, it is more difficult for Pentax to find accessories, but if you wish ...

Comment: In general, my vote is one more for the purchase of this model.
