SHO-ME Combo No. 1 Signature

Advantages: Not a single glitch in two years of intensive use. Once I put it in someone else's car - I started to react inadequately and show non-existent radars, but it turned out that in the car just the GPS monitoring system antennas were glued right next to the windshield on the panel and drove the device crazy. Perfectly recognizes "tripods" at a very long distance (over a kilometer). Super reliably works out the sections of control of the average speed of movement, in advance making a bunch of warnings about the beginning / end of the KSS, possible speeding, calculates and shows the average speed of movement in the section by satellites, which makes it possible to make a reasonable decision to move faster or slower at a given time. Shows lane control, video control of pedestrian crossings, speed limits, etc. There are no complaints about the DVR part at all - it shoots a very high-quality video both day and night.

Disadvantages: For a short time, it reacts like a radar to similar devices (radar detectors) in oncoming cars, which is a little enraging. The alert sound is too loud. My sound volume is always in the "1" out of five mode, and sometimes I want to turn down this female voice. Why 4 more volume levels? For the driver in the cab of the desperately roaring KrAZ?

Comment: The model itself is excellent in terms of design, performance and reliability. It is a pity that the update of the camera bases and other information is taking place with a serious delay. But I think this is definitely not the fault of the device and the manufacturer. Rather, the negligence (or intent ...) of the relevant state authorities. And just in this case, the impeccable radar part of the device helps out, allowing you to understand where the real camera is, and where is a dummy or non-working one.

Advantages: Build quality. Identification of cameras by radar detector and camera base. High quality recording. Competent and understandable arrangement of buttons. 12 volts. Reliability.

Disadvantages: In general, I think there are no shortcomings.

Comment: I am currently using Combo 1 Signature A12 since October 2017. Before that I used Combo 1 A7 (I gave it to a friend after buying a new one, it works to this day correctly). The most important thing is the correct choice of memory card and only the original. The recording speed must be at least 20Mb / s. I installed Samsung 32 Gb Evo + 20/95 (i.e. 20 write speed here). I am very pleased with both this device and the previous one. Works without crashes and freezes. The speed at which the radar switches to "Track" mode is set in the menu and this is a huge plus. There are no false positives at all. In the latest software, the settings for notifications on the camera base have been improved. Now, from the range from -20 to +20, you can choose the most suitable for a particular user. The tripod sees. Very capacious 520mAh battery. In general, an even, clear, competent apparatus. I decided to write a review after reading other negative reviews. Many of my fellow work colleagues use the same model. Constantly on the road along the highways. Advantages: Solid recorder + radar detector. He sees everything, both in the city and outside the city. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, cameras are almost every 100 meters. Sometimes "K-band" squeaks outside the city, but it is not clear where the source is. I don't know if this could be called a false positive. The camera shoots well, but daytime shooting could be better - the numbers are not readable on the opposite lane (there is something to compare with). Finds satellites quickly, alerts are large and easy to understand.

Comment: With a video recorder on the road, I feel much more confident and calmer. The operation is simple, for the first time the functions were helped by my husband, now I am calm and I update myself. You can watch the recording directly from the screen, everything is perfectly visible even in the bright sun. It catches all radars and cameras, false alarms for six months can be counted on the fingers. Voice notification allows you not to be distracted from the road.

Advantages: Large viewing angle. Innovative system, durable fastening.

Comment: The combo device has been in operation for more than six months, no freezes, glitches or overheating have been noticed. The video is recorded in good quality, it is possible to view it directly from the device. The voice notification is loud enough and pleasant, informs about the threat in advance. Firmware with updates is regularly released.

Comment: I was pleased with its versatility, it can not only record what is happening on the roads, but also promptly notify about the approach of cameras with radars. The presence of an innovative signature keeps false alerts to a minimum. The screen brightness is adjustable, which is convenient in any light. I install updates regularly.

Advantages: A clear menu, indicates traffic police posts.

Comment: I really like that it is small, the processor is nimble, the diagonal of the display is optimal, if more it is inconvenient. I was very pleased that there are several modes - "city" and "highway", helps in triggering traffic police posts.

Comment: I am very pleased with this device. The video quality is excellent. I have already tried it both in the rain and at night - everything is clear. When shooting, the driving speed is recorded. The control is convenient. There have never been any false positives.
