Disadvantages: There are several of them: 1. The most important and annoying one - the VOCORD Traffic radar is not detected in the "Signature" mode. We have a lot of them in the city (Nizhny Novgorod), so only the GPS camera database helps out. In the "Route" and "City" modes, this radar is detected correctly as "K-band". 2. The second point follows from the first: such a well-known and eminent company does not have its own technical forum on its website, and, as a result, there is no feedback. Several times I was going to inform the developers about the problem specified in paragraph 1, but I did not find a convenient way for myself - a forum. I think that for the generation of millennials, which I also belong to, having a quick and visual feedback from the manufacturer is very important. As an example, I can cite a very successful forum on radar detectors from the Supra company (I used their devices as well). In the topics, all questions of interest are promptly answered by a representative of the company, who, in case of ignorance, consults with colleagues, and the answer is always in the public domain. 3. The font used for the current speed is too small. 4. In some cases, incorrect detection of false signals in the signature mode.

Comment: It so happened that for a long time, but systematically I went to this signature combo device. I started with a simple radar detector (RD), which I didn't even catch Strelka. Then I sold it, bought a similar one, but with the Arrow recognition function. Added a video recorder (VR) to the kit. Then taxiways with GPS began to appear - I bought myself one. After some time, you already guess, combo devices appeared on sale: RD + DVR. I also updated myself by selling my RD and BP. Signature models were only performed by RD. Well, in the summer of 2017, the first signature combo devices began to appear. Well, I did not change myself and also updated myself. Moreover, the last two of the listed auto devices in my car were devices from the Inspector company.And everything seemed to suit, but the store manager persuaded to buy Sho-me (the fame of this brand, given the equal prices for the devices, outweighed the balance of choice) After 5 months of use, he did not regret his choice. Subjective thoughts about the advantages and disadvantages described above.

Disadvantages: There is no direct (without entering the menu) volume control; I did not find any other shortcomings (this is the opinion of an ordinary consumer, that is, a "teapot")

True, I have been using it for less than a year, but I can already say that I like it. Since I drive around Moscow, my criterion was that the radar had as few false alerts as possible. In my opinion, the radar detector copes with this completely. There are several modes City-1, City-2, Track, Signature. There is also a feature, signature analysis works exclusively in the "signature" mode, in other modes "track" and "city", and only the K-band works. There is a lot of interference in the city without signature modes, but so far I have not encountered a single interference in the signature mode. signature analysis

Disadvantages: The video is still "soapy" and strong enough. And it's also something that you can't turn off information about dummy cameras.

Advantages: Good video recording quality, adequate antiradar performance.

Disadvantages: Incomprehensible, sometimes completely incorrect, color rendition of traffic lights, electronic displays, for example, on buses or stops.

Comment: I use it quite recently. After the purchase, I immediately updated the firmware and the camera base. I hung it up and went to test on Kiev. The video writes well, not go pro, but quite worthy. During the day, the numbers are readable at the meetings. In the evening the situation is worse, but there are no problems with the numbers of passing cars. Filmed and staged it several times. And I noticed that the installation location, the angle of the camera also matters. It is not necessary to lift it up completely to the ceiling. It is clear that sculpting it in the middle of the windshield is also not an option, but in my attempts to hide it behind the mirror, tilting the camera down, the video turned out much worse, especially noticeable in the evening. Maybe it will ride on a sedan, but on an SUV it did not work out very well. The camera catches flawlessly. In general, everything is fine with stationary ones. And on the way I came across only two mobile phones, I saw both. It is too early to judge on reliability, further operation will show.

Advantages: Relatively small size, convenient mounting system, excellent recording quality.

Disadvantages: It is a little inconvenient to disconnect the device itself from the suction cup, but this is more of a nitpick, and not a drawback, since the device has permanently settled in the car.

Comment: I have been using this unit since July 2017. I bought it to replace my outdated SHO-ME STR-525, which suddenly stopped catching anything at all ... It's a long time, and therefore I managed to test this device quite well) regarding the recorder - excellent shooting quality, both during the day and at night ... The license plates are visible, but only when viewing on a computer and pause video. The viewing angle, in my opinion, is even greater than the stated 135 °, it sees everything from rack to rack, and this is closer to 180 °. There are no complaints about the radar part either. Particularly pleased with the presence of an updated database, as well as indication of the type of camera, distance to it and the maximum permissible speed. Thanks to the signature component, there is almost complete absence of false alarms on automatic doors, long-range radios and sensors of the active security system of "cool cars") During operation, it froze only once and that, apparently due to my fast movements between the main screen, the video viewing menu and settings menu. The maximum frost that he has felt so far is -5, while turning on and connecting to the GPS is instant. Conclusion: I took it for a little over 11, I don’t mind the money spent, it is definitely worth it)

Advantages: Combo device Compact size Convenient quick release mount

Disadvantages: No USB connection to read / write memory card and supply power outside the machine. Inconvenient update - you have to constantly pull out and insert the memory card. It would be more convenient to do it wirelessly (via wi-fi, for example) Video quality for 3 - lathers, there is no clarity.

Comment:

Advantages: Compact, convenient, high-quality radar detector with video recorder. A sufficient number of settings for any conditions and any car. Convenience - long power cable for connecting the device. My car is a sedan, the cable ran along the roof sheathing and windshield pillars, I connected the device in the car's glove compartment. The device looks stationary, the wiring does not interfere. Compactness - the device is fixed on the windshield, exactly in the middle, it does not interfere with the view, I did not have to get used to it and was distracted from driving. I think this is the best device for the price-quality from the SHO-ME company. P.S. The database with the coordinates of the installed stationary radars is periodically updated.

Disadvantages: There is a drawback - a flash card is not included with the device. Inserting other flash cards may affect the performance of the device.
