Advantages: - cooking according to all the laws of the PP - a large compartment for dripping fat (when frying burger patties from 1 kg of minced meat it fills up significantly) - easy storage and transportation - thick plates with a good coating
Disadvantages: - smokes, although it depends on how well you washed the plates after the last time - too deep grooves (difficult to clean) - lack of spare panels on sale - still an inconvenient moment, which is not in the expensive Bork, for example. When the desired temperature is reached, the automation turns off the heating, then the plates cool down a little and the heating turns on again. This is noticeable by the operation of the light bulb. I don’t think they have time to cool down, but even heating would be better.
Comment: I'm happy with the grill. I chose a year for my DR. The first step was to make marbled beef burgers. If you overexpose a little, it turns out to be rather dry. grease drains into the tray. In general, the cutlets are drier than in a pan. I make the meat on the "2.5-2.75" mode, because on mode 3 it fries very hard. Vegetables, pre-marinated, on a mode of 1 minutes 10. Differences from a grill pan are significant and for the better. As for washing, it's a pity to give this to the mercy of chemicals and dishwashers. On the advice of experienced people, after cooking, I flip the switch and put a wet paper towel on the plates. Due to the steam from the boiling water from the towel, all burnt-on flakes off and then easier to remove. Ikea stick brush and hot water to help.

Advantages: Recommend! An excellent device. The term of use is 3 years. All guests immediately want the same grill. I already gave one to two friends. We mainly cook steaks, fish, quesadia, cheese. After preparing a portion, remove excess fat and other things with a rolled paper towel and throw in the next portion. After cooking, the plates are easily removed, soaked, swept out with a long-bristled brush, and then washed with a sponge and detergent.
Disadvantages: Oil / grease splashes slightly. Smokes during cooking, solution: I put it under the hood next to the stove. Zucchini and similar vegetables must be cut into circles of the same thickness, otherwise those that are thicker will bake, and the "tan" will not reach thin ones. the top plate will not touch the vegetable.

Comment: I chose according to local reviews, I was afraid of the stench, grease and difficult washing, but I decided to try it. I don't really understand all these complaints. About washing. I do this: I fried a steak, rolled up 4 disposable paper towels, poured cold water on 2 sides, put it on the wire rack, closed the grill (at this moment there will be steam, the grill should be under the hood). After 5 minutes he took out, put new ones. By the end of the meal, the grill has cooled down. I take 3 wet disposable rags (which are sold in rolls of 70-100 pieces), wipe it, the second time the same thing, the third time 2 rags, already clean. I don't even take off the surfaces. Everything takes me 2-3 minutes of time, 8 paper towels and 8 disposable rags. Most likely, you can not even do this, but simply turn off the grill, leave it open until the end of the meal, and then wash it with wet disposable rags. This is Teflon, after all, what are the problems? The smoke and stench from it is much less than if the same is done in a frying pan. At the beginning, when warming up, a couple of seconds before shutdown, there is a barely noticeable smoke, but it goes into the hood. About splashes. I do not have them. From the word "absolutely". Probably, if you cook some sausages on it, then, perhaps, you will finish everything, have not tried it. Steaks - no problem at all. I also did not understand complaints about the rigid structure. Perhaps these are complaints about a mechanism that keeps the lid evenly at any thickness of the steak. The surfaces are slightly loose, but it doesn't seem to interfere with anything, besides they are removable. I only regret one thing - that I did not buy it earlier. You can't compare with a frying pan.

Comment: Steak bar & Grill bar at home! You can cook 2.5 kg of steaks for the price of one in the restaurant-bar and the quality will be the same! Convenient and quick to cook, wash and store. There is no automation here, as in the optigrill, but you can determine the cooking time during the first frying - if you fry one steak at a time, then empirically you can immediately understand the right time for the required degree of frying. Cook beef (2.5-3 cm thick) for 2-2.5 minutes - for those who like it with blood. Chicken 5 minutes, pork - 6, fish (steak) - 4 minutes. For better roasting, I do not advise aiming to load the grill to 100%. Better to have enough space between the steaks. It is better to wash with preliminary soaking - then it is washed off once. In general, the price-quality ratio is optimal. Recommended for grill and steak lovers.

Advantages: Really simple and convenient to cook. Meat and vegetables are prepared quickly and very tasty. Before that I could not stand eggplants - now I eat with pleasure. Even the chicken breast is very juicy. The main thing is to be able to cook with inspiration.
Comment: From personal experience, meat should not be marinated. The marinade is on fire. Meat is easy to salt, pepper and grill. Delight. I cut the eggplants along (it looks like insoles), I only remove the skin from the backs, not from the sides. Otherwise they creep. They write that spray is flying. Have you tried to lower the top cover? My ferry and an ikea brush and everything is perfectly washed. I prefer not to wash such items in the dishwasher.

Comment: I liked this grill model very much. We hardly fry in pans anymore, only if pancakes need to be made or to prepare a dressing for soup. On the grill, everything is cooked quickly, tasty and without oil. The only problem is washing the grates after cooking. Although they are removable, carbon deposits are not completely washed off in the dishwasher, and over time, this carbon becomes more and more on the surface of the grate. I want to find new grates for this grill on sale, because someday the non-stick coating will wear out and it will be very difficult to get rid of carbon deposits.But so far I have not been able to find them separately anywhere. The truth has not yet contacted service centers. P.S. I wrote to several Tefal service centers asking if they could buy grates for our grill. They answered that yes, you can. Prepayment 70%, delivery time from one to three months, price as of September 2015 - 1800 rubles per lattice.

Advantages: The maximum temperature is 250 degrees, the plates really warm up to it (checked with a special thermometer). Simple controls that can't shut down like electronic grills. By the way, the temperature is regulated smoothly, and not only 100-200-250, as it is written on the site, you can set intermediate values. The plates are just great. The coating works great: water droplets do not remain on it, but drain off immediately, you don't even need to wipe it off. Plus, you don't need to wash it either: all dirt and burnt food can be perfectly removed with a napkin, without any effort. This is the first time I've seen this.
Disadvantages: It looks like a fairly cheap plastic, roughly processed. I haven't found others yet, although I tried very, very hard. And, although I remembered: because of the VERY slippery coating, the sausages constantly slipped into one corner of the grill, partially crawling out of it, they must be quickly pressed with the upper part of the grill. But that's the price of a perfect non-stick coating.
Comment: Excellent grill. He Fries. At the maximum temperature, it simply glows with heat, it is difficult to approach it like an open oven. A thick piece of juicy tenderloin is obtained with a crust, the juice remains all inside, and the crust is just a tasty crust, and not a burnt pile of coals. Before that, there was a more expensive and "sophisticated" grill - Tephal is better than it in all respects. I recommend it to everyone with a clear conscience. For those who doubt - look at 400+ positive reviews on the German Amazon for this model.

Comment: Great grill, thanks to the relatively powerful heating element, everything is cooked quickly. The non-stick coating works, and nothing has been cooked to charcoal.The problem with washing was easily solved by buying parchment for baking, now I do not even remove the heating surfaces after use. I put the parchment on a removable plate, then meat or vegetables, again the parchment and cover with a second plate, after use the grill remains absolutely clean.
