Advantages: Powerful, quick to cook. Automatically timing. Removable panels - easy to clean. It's just a must. Nothing burns, you can even fry without oil. The steaks are great.

Advantages: Reduces grilling meat and vegetables to minimal manipulation. Frying takes place without oil, although the crust is prettier and tastier with it in places.
Disadvantages: 1) visually looks kondo than it actually is - quite light 2) sprinkles fat from the gap between the halves - not much, but the back handle is quite clearly shiny after frying 3) not very friendly with thick pieces (4 cm) 4) price in RF 5) After a couple of weeks of use - he is not on friendly terms with chicken breast at all. By the time appetizing stripes appear on it, it is already completely dry.
Comment: So, I report: 1) I did not cook 2 pieces of marbled beef from miratorg, room temperature, about 4 cm thick. Blinked that well done, but in fact rare. Cooked in the microwave. The instruction says that pieces thicker than 4 cm should not be put. Well, I didn't put it any thicker. 2) 3-4 minutes for vegetables, as they said here - well, I don't know ... They will be raw with fried strips. To become ready and soft (peppers, zucchini), you need to leave for 10 minutes. Maybe it's the temperature, I will experiment further, but for now, like this. 3) the price in the Russian Federation is inadequate. It's not worth 20 thousand. In one well-known online store in Germany, it costs 8500 plus a couple of thousand for delivery. This is a more or less normal price tag. He took it there. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, it is good when you can make a grill at home without much stress. But the price in the Russian Federation for it is strange ... And yes, there is a feeling that 80% of reviews on the Internet are paid advertising.

Comment: A great item that is really worth the money. Compliance of the declared degree of roast with the actual state of the product. We experimented on elk meat. The first piece was made medium-rare, i.e. below medium, or initial medium doneness. It turned out to be insanely tasty and juicy. But the girls in the company, for example, thought it looked too raw. Although it tasted impeccable. The second batch was done medium-well, i.e. above medium, or nearly fried. It seemed to everyone a little dry, but only against the background of the first. Then they laid down the third batch and made a full-fledged medium, i.e. medium rare, when the middle is pink and juicy, and the edges are brown. It turned out to be incomparable. Requires no sauce or side dish. The most interesting thing is that the difference between medium-rare, medium and medium-well is only 10-15 seconds. The entire cooking process takes less than five minutes. Therefore, I don't even know how I could have achieved such a cool result without OptiGrill's clever automation. The panels are easy to clean in the dishwasher or by hand. During work, it does not stain everything around, like a frying pan. Oil-free. The color board will help you prepare the steak of the desired degree. Recommend!

Advantages: The grill is a godsend for the family on the PP! And for a family where there is always no time to cook! Very fast cooking, no harm as oil for frying, does not burn! It turns out very juicy meat, although we fry everything, up to fruits :) (sometimes). Such a handsome man! My husband really enjoyed using it, so now often dinner is not my concern, an absolute plus !! Flashes colorfully, easy to clean (our case is silver, on glossy black it will be more noticeable dirt / dust / grease). Excellent recipes for grilling in the book, however, I do not understand why it is not included in the kit, but only in electronic form.
Disadvantages: I doubted a lot when I read reviews, confused information about smoke. There is smoke when not completely clean panels are heated, or, if you fry the second batch, that is, the situation is like with a frying pan. I don't see anything wrong! Of the features: model xxl would recommend for a large family, we are two adults, often we have to fry the required amount of food in two parties.

Advantages: It well determines the level of frying of steaks of almost any thickness (I tried from 5 mm to 3 cm). Suitable for grilling vegetables and red fish (white fish can fall apart). Easy to clean (if there is no defective plate - see cons).
Disadvantages: Most importantly, when buying, look at the quality of the non-stick coating on the back of the plates. I got sprinkled and the aluminum began to oxidize in the dishwasher - I had to change it. The company does not recognize this as a defect and generally disclaims it in the spirit of "do not wash in the dishwasher", despite the fact that the instructions are allowed. And washing the ribbed plates by hand is torture. There is a small amount of splashing around (I had to put on paper towels and change them as they get dirty). When wiping the top plate (when cooking a large number of dishes), the debris falls behind the grill (solved with the same towels). There is no automatic mode for vegetables (decided by a timer for 5-8 minutes, depending on the desired roast).
Comment: Take good meat and you will be happy. Remember that not every piece is good for steaks. Ideal is marbled beef (thick / thin rim or shoulder).

Advantages: The first rating is 4 stars, just because it has not yet been possible to use all the functionality, but this is a matter of time. At the moment, I have fried marbled beef of various thicknesses, the review is as follows: the Schnitzel was fried evenly, but due to the initial mistrust, he overexposed literally 5-7 seconds and the meat turned out to be dry, although the indicator shouted at the required mark "take it out!", But I did not believe it myself to blame. A full-fledged ribeye 3.5 cm thick took a chance and pulled it out at the "medium" mark, it turned out more like "medium rare", but at the same time it turned out superbly - a very juicy middle and a piece perfectly "sealed" from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised. I also dried out thin chicken slices the first time, the second time they turned out very juicy, fried, by the way, in special paper. There is no point in talking about sandwiches once again - the bread is perfectly covered with a crust, the cheese is heated inside, it is difficult to spoil anything here. Now I really want to try to cook vegetables, and, most importantly, fish, sooooo wondering how it will turn out. While all the declared characteristics justify themselves, the device really reacts to the thickness of the meat and, starting from it, the speed of transitions of the color indication state increases or decreases. With the right approach to cooking, the meat turns out to be superb, really tasty and different, depending on your preferences. I was very pleased with the removable compartment, which takes away fat and stuff that flows down during frying.
Disadvantages: Rather, not disadvantages, but expected disadvantages, if there are advantages: When you first turn it on, there really is an unpleasant smell. As I did: after the purchase, not including, immediately washed the plates with detergent, then dried and turned on the grill for heating, the smell was present, when it warmed up, turned it off and allowed it to cool. After the plates had cooled down, it was thoroughly washed and dried again, after which there was no smell when turned on. Regarding warming up, it's a real problem, it heats up for a long time, it feels like 6-8 minutes you have to wait for sure, a sound signal informs about readiness. If you open the lid during cooking, for example, look at how the meat is fried - the program will decide that you took the meat and reset everything to its original positions (program selection), but this is my stupidity, do not repeat mistakes :) The plates cool for a very long time and wash they are really heavy. I don't risk a dishwasher, only by hand. To facilitate the task, immediately after frying, I wipe the plates with a paper towel - all residues are dumped into the fat compartment, and then, when everything has cooled down, my plates. During cooking, smoke is naturally present, but the smoke is not chemical, but from fat, for example. A hood is absolutely necessary, otherwise the whole kitchen will be saturated with aromas.
Comment: Think twice before buying, for what purpose are you purchasing this product? If you expect this wonderful machine to literally do all the work for you, you are wrong. If you think you’ll put in a second-rate piece of meat and you’ll end up with a premium restaurant-grade steak, you’re wrong. If you want to simplify your cooking life and save time on it - you will succeed. Now about the comments that people left earlier.Many people write, they say, cooks more than fries - well, if you stuff a bunch of meat like on a grill - of course, the meat will cook in its own juice, the grill (not XL) is designed for one full-fledged, maximum two steaks of simultaneous frying! If the meat lies tightly to each other - naturally they will "flow"! Those who talk about uneven frying of several pieces - you put meat of different thicknesses on one plate at the same time, naturally the frying will be uneven, the grill will be repelled by a thicker piece!

Comment: I have used a grill pan for a long time, but cooking on it was long and sometimes painful. I decided to try to buy a grill, I first looked at Redmond, but Tefal bribed me with an advertisement about the cooking programs and a cool roasting recognition system depending on the thickness of meat / fish, etc. Took this grill and really - he just cooks incredibly gorgeous. You throw him a piece of meat that is even in thickness or whole fish (dorado, for example) straight without any oil (you can anoint it only for taste and better adhesion of spices) and that's it, close the lid and wait for the required roasting. Fish cooks in 5 minutes, steaks in 3-5, sausages for the longest - in 10-15 minutes. And everything corresponds to the degree of roast, both on the logo and in the instructions. Now when laziness is preparing something big and long, I just go to the store, take a piece of meat or fish and throw it on the grill - 5 minutes and dinner / lunch is ready. I highly recommend it, this is just a super device :) I attach a photo of the dorado before and after) P.S. Never fry sausages and sausages until they are red - they are too hard and dry, orange is enough
