Advantages:
Affordable. Metal frame. Smooth focusing, all according to the canons of manual optics. The lens was created for the amateur segment of buyers, so there is no moisture protection, not the best enlightenment. It will clearly be inferior in picture to more expensive counterparts, but in terms of workmanship and design reliability it is not inferior to lenses from the USSR.
Disadvantages:
Just the worst front lens cover. More precisely, it is beautiful, looks very cool, but the lid is heavy and does not hold at all. It can be used when you put the lens in the regular case. Because of this, it is very difficult to protect the front lens from scratches; the lens on the carcass cannot be simply taken and thrown into a backpack. The lens saving issue is very distracting. And since the viewing angle is 180 degrees, it is not difficult to guess that there can be no talk of a hood or filters.

I bought almost one of the first copies. It cost 11,600 and another discount from the store. It was just very interesting to shoot with him. I don't use it very often, but I liked the lens. Nearby objects are sharp enough, while distant objects become more soapy. But this is normal for an ultra-wide angle, these are features of the optical scheme. You only use the focusing ring if you are shooting something very close. And if you set it to infinity, then everything starting from one meter away from you will be in focus. The attached photo is taken with a full frame Canon 5D. On the crop, the 180 degree angle of view will be only in the wider part of the frame.

Nice fisheye, lightweight and not really expensive. Condovo made - metal. I would drive on film photographic equipment, but alas, they do not release the M42 shank. The distortion is certainly strong, but for those who are on the crop of norms. Recommend
