Comment: An excellent motherboard in terms of price + quality from the Aorus gaming line. The closest eminent competitor will have a similar motherboard from the ROG game line that will cost 3-4 thousand more. Previously, I always took Asus, but then I decided to try Gigabyte. So far I have collected it in conjunction with the i5-8500 and GTX 1070 with a reserve for the future. I want to play and work now. Works with Patriot Viper RAM at 3200MHz. The XMP profile turned on without dancing with a tambourine. Sounds good, but not super duper. There isn't enough power for the Hyper X Cloud Core ears to make the ears ache))). But it is quite enough.The presence of a radiator for a disk in the m.2 connector is good news)) I put a Samsung EVO 970 SSD for 250 gigs under it. The temperature in normal mode is about 43 degrees. This disc contains the only CS GO toy. At peak under load, a maximum of 55 degrees .. and then with benchmarking. 8 + 4 pin processor power connector. This connection scheme is needed only for stable overclocking of older processors. Therefore, a standard connection via an 8-pin connector is quite enough for the 9700k. Comment: I chose this motherboard because of its predecessor gigabyte x58a-ud3r, which has been working stably for me for 9 years on my previous computer. But there was a need to update components, especially the SSD (and here's a nice bonus in the form of a radiator for it).
