It somehow started to strain. We began to experiment and IT WAS A CASE IN PAPER (we use a TERRIBLE thin free paper), when we put an ordinary Blueprint in the tray - I was printing like clockwork! But when printing images, he prints a little slower and sometimes thinks too long, but for us this is not critical. I really hope that in the future it will not let us down and will serve for a good 10 years like our previous old man hp laserjet 1018 :)

Advantages: A perfectly acceptable printer for home use

Disadvantages: Flimsy plastic, loosely adheres to the base in some places. There are a couple of minor flaws in terms of closing the upper case cover. It sticks out by 1-2 mm on one side, which, in principle, does not affect functionality, and is not particularly noticeable, but still! There are flaws with the software, because if you started printing, and there is no paper in the printer, then after putting the paper down, the printer asks you to open the cover and close it, as with a jam, which is somewhat annoying. Also, if the printer is in sleep mode, and you want to turn it off, then when you press the power button, it first wakes up from sleep mode, which takes a few seconds, and only when you press the button again, it turns off. While in sleep mode, it is not sent to print via wi-fi. You need to go to the printer, wake it up from sleep mode, and only then the job will be accepted for printing (I have not tried it with a wired connection). If you do not have a floppy drive on your laptop or computer, then you will have to look for it from acquaintances or friends and copy the disk with the drivers and the software itself to the USB flash drive. The manufacturer's website contains only the drivers themselves and the updated firmware, but there is no software itself for the full use of the printer's functions. At least break the whole site and internet, I didn't find them. Having installed firewood from the manufacturer's website, I could only print via wi-fi. There was no scanning capability.

Comment: As for flashing the printer to refill the cartridge. As I wrote above, when I bought it, I flashed it with a new firmware from the official website. When the time came and the cartridge ran out, I started looking for firmware on the Internet to be able to use a refilled cartridge, because if you just refill it, it won't work. I will make a reservation that there are no ready-made firmwares and you cannot download them for free. You need to order the firmware for your specific printer, specifying its serial number and crash (all this information is available, you will figure it out yourself how to get it). Having looked at several sites, I realized that your current firmware version is also important for flashing and you need to specify it. The trouble is that my current firmware version was too fresh and there were no offers of cracked firmware for it yet. Without thinking twice, I found official firmware of earlier versions on the Internet and "rolled back" my fresh one to the old one. But in the process something went wrong and the serial number of the printer was erased from the software. It just started showing zeros! As a result, I wrote a letter to those guys who do cracked flashing and they are for 500 rubles. They sent me a program to restore the number. Plus RUB 500 The new firmware itself was worth it. Total 1000 rubles. In the end, everything works. I refilled the cartridge myself, bought toner for 110 rubles. There is a good video on YouTube showing how to do this on shelves. Nothing fancy, right for this cartridge model. It takes about 10 minutes if you are doing something like this for the first time in your life. But keep in mind, as soon as you do a flashing to a cracked version, your printer flies out of warranty.

Advantages: Quiet enough, quickly wakes up and falls asleep. Connected at work via usb, no problem. I cannot estimate the cartridge, I rarely print. Scanner, copier without problems.

Disadvantages: So far so good for my operating conditions.

Comment: Purchased to replace the dead HP for a rare print job. Connecting and working without problems, but I do not use wi-fi, I print quite rarely. Ahh, cute yet :)
