Advantages:
A fairly compact DVR with a decent quality of shooting and not a big price. There is a GPS therefore the coordinates and speed are present on the video. Glass glass is declared, not plastic on the lens. In general, the recorder is compact. As they could, the kit was strengthened for the convenience of a neat connection.
Disadvantages:
There is no tape attachment, only a suction cup, which is not reliable. Gluing the suction cup onto double-sided tape is also not reliable. Tight mount. Does not support flash drives larger than 32 gigabytes. Few videos fit on one flash drive, about 5-6 hours. There is no button to freeze the video if you need to save.

Due to the not very successful design, the fasteners and the recorder take up more space than they would have cost. everything turns out in one line, plus another wire must be stuck on top. As a result, do not hang close to the ceiling. The power supply in the base is 5 volts i.e. just cut off the wire and cut the network into the board will not work, you will first have to get 5 from 12 volts. The mount seems to be reliable, but specific in my opinion. Everything is very tight. At night, the xenon headlights of my car light up the license plate of the front car. It's a shame. The bow with the radar function of the detector was not appreciated. otherwise, you will have to hang the recorder closer and, due to its size with fasteners, I will lose viewing angles. Therefore, I do not use it. The rest is a normal registrar. I am satisfied with the purchase.

The most valuable thing for me is the absence of the need to shaman over memory cards. Neither format, nor constantly create some folders, nor monitor, but suddenly it is not recorded ... This is a painful topic, because the last reg was therefore scrapped, although it was filmed normally. With this, thank God, there is no such problem: I inserted the card once and I have already removed it for more than a month. A couple of times I inserted the flash drive into the computer, then took it out, put it back - no formatting or other nonsense was required. On shooting - everything is stable enough for a price of 7 thousand. All numbers within 10-12 meters are visible and readable without special devices. The sound is written. Cameras are determined, but I don't need this thing, I never exceed it and try to ride according to the rules. There are no complaints about assembly and mounting.

Advantages:
A GPS receiver in a bracket is a very good solution. The instruction is detailed. There is nothing to add there. The box contains an insert with instructions on what to do in case of an accident. A trifle - and most of it I did not know. Shooting is very decent for a 5K reg.

The receptionist is very good, I never tire of making sure. Shooting during the day is excellent. At night - there are nuances with glare from headlights and lanterns, but in general it is also quite good.

I bought the registrar in January, left with him in the winter and spring. He withstood the frosts easily, let's see how he behaves in the heat. I watch videos from him only for quality control (in terms of whether he records everything, whether the recording quality has become worse, etc.). In fact, not a single video has come in handy for me yet (and thank God).

Navigation and radar map work flawlessly, as does auto start. A 32 GB flash drive is readable, and not only of the 10th grade, but also of the 6th. The price at which he took is relatively low. There were no firmware failures during these six months, it plows normally.

The FD8 Red-2 GPS recorder was dragged away from the car, just a week ago, so I had to urgently look for money for a new one. As you know, there is always not enough money, so I could not give the same amount again for the same, but I liked the Lawyers in general for a year of use. Therefore, I looked at their line and saw a new model, which at the time of buying the FD8 had not even been released yet. Basically, everything is the same - good shooting and speed. There are no additional bells and whistles (like lane control). But I didn't really use it, so I don't need it. And it shoots just as well.And as far as SPEEDCAM is concerned, everything is fine too - it warns about radars from the same distance. The viewing angle is even greater than that of the red one.
