Advantages:
- Very good video quality. 4K is generally a miracle, especially in conjunction with H.265 - Wi-Fi on board. For quick access to the video, the screen on the recorder itself is not needed. - Long cord for concealed installation included. I do not understand the owners of the registrars, whose cord hangs through the windshield. - The ability to access the reg through the cloud (I do not plan to use it, but the option is useful). - built-in GPS (for younger models as a separate module on the wire). - no built-in battery, there is a capacitor. For our climate, a good replacement, because Good batteries are not installed anyway, and cheap ones die very quickly.
Disadvantages:
- The price goes off scale dramatically. And this phrase can be written three times. - An attempt to visually distinguish this model against the background of all the others (4K inscriptions, golden stripes). This is still not visible to the owner, but unnecessary attention is attracted. - There is no possibility of turning horizontally. In my case, I couldn't install it either above or under the mirror, I had to shift it to the left, a little to the detriment of the viewing areas. - You can turn it vertically, but if you remove the reg, then it is very inconvenient to put it back. There are risks on the models below, you won't miss (I admit that I haven't figured it out myself yet) - Big. It would be at least 30-40% thinner, it would be 100% perfect, but only 99%)

I have known the BlackVue brand for a long time, the quality has always been at the level. But when choosing a new registrar, I was in a hurry, didn't figure it out and bought the DR-590w. The model turned out to be extremely poor in terms of video quality, despite its 60fps, it immediately passed. Had to spend a little more time watching live videos and tempering the green amphibian. I advise everyone to start by watching the video, and not looking on YouTube, but asking the living owners to upload them as raw. Here BlackVue have always been at their best and with this model they only confirmed that they know how to make the filling beautiful.As usual - Sonya's matrix, a multi-lens lens with enlightened lenses and a fast processor (which one is not indicated anywhere, but it has no problems with processing rather large clips). And at the same time, he shoots not in FHD, but in 4k UHD!

I had a chance to go through a lot of recorders this year, so I don’t remember that I found something that shoots better than 900. This applies to detail, and color rendition, and clarity, and the absence of noise, and in general anything related to shooting. Thanks to the hefty matrix and excellent optical system, of course. Well, the processor. Almost the entire cost of the recorder is precisely those things that are responsible for the quality of shooting, no extra priblud. Except maybe Wi-Fi. Although my tongue does not dare to call synchronization with smart and other cloud chips pribluda - a useful thing. Especially in the absence of a screen. And one more thing that prompted me to buy this particular reg is an extremely low rejection rate. I don't remember at all that Regi Blackwoo was brought to our service for repairs. In reality, inside they differ from Chinese giblets like heaven and earth. No electrical tape or glue on the board - everything is assembled in such a way that Chubais would be satisfied.

Basically, even the previous BlackVue model shot in ways others could only dream of. And one could take it completely for myself (I'm talking about the 750th). But I love everything new and, in principle, I can afford this new thing. Therefore, I did not waste time on trifles and unbuckled a pretty decent amount of money for the new BlackVue DR900S-1CH recorder. I took it with one camera, because I don't see the need for a back one. Image is fire! Before that, I did not meet matrices even in 5 megapixels, not that 8, as here. It shoots clearly, in a huge resolution (and the rollers also weigh wildly, but this was expected). Complaining about this when buying a reg with 4K is strange). Well, a few words about wi-fi - you can connect to the recorder remotely and use it as a surveillance camera for the surrounding space.

Advantages:
The first and so far the only registrar who writes video in 4k. All the wi-fi features and features migrated from the 750 model - it can still upload video to the cloud, support a remote connection (if connected to a network) from anywhere in the world, and so on. GPS is available, and very accurate. It connects to satellites quite quickly, did not detect, but less than a minute, the speed writes correctly.

I honestly don't know what to write ... That the registrar is head and shoulders above any other? So this is an obvious fact: if you look at the hardware (8MP matrix, EIGHT, CARL) and the price ... In general, I knew what I was paying for: for the reliability of the company and for the fact that a registrar with such quality does not exist yet.

I specifically looked for it on the Yandex market - there is not a single car registrar yet that would shoot video in 4K. Moreover, even stretched, with interpolation. Blackwoo is really the first of its kind. And thanks to the 8 megapixel matrix, even night shooting here is an order of magnitude better than that of the nearest pursuer. I haven't bought the OTC kit yet, but I will definitely do it, with it the reg will discover all its possibilities. The price did not bother me, I am ready to afford to give that kind of money for the gadget, the main thing is that it is of high quality, and BV was not noticed in the hack. Their next victory.
