Disadvantages: It is necessary to tighten the fasteners in two places (I inserted a plate into the removable part and wound a wire around the axis). It is undesirable to shoot - it will become loose. The viewing angle is a bit wide - both pillars and the hood are visible from the upper right corner. You cannot change firmware. Settings cannot be changed. There is little sense from GPS - only registration of real speed. The lens is convex relative to the body - it is easy to scratch the anti-reflective layer. I also noticed that he does not always write and it is passed to press the button to start recording. But I specifically checked - the recording looping is done normally. It looks like it can fail when starting the engine. So we'll have to keep an eye on us: - / Fortunately, there is a separate LED that blinks when recording.

Comment: First I wanted to buy DATAKAM 5 with GPS. Then I was glad that DATAKAM 6 came out and was immediately upset after reading the reviews. I found this one with the same processor and matrix + GPS and also raw firmware :-). The humor is that DATAKAM 6 PRO also has raw firmware, but it costs 16800r when this CARKAM Q7 was bought for 7440r. The video quality was compared - very similar. I bought it, tested it - everything was fine, only the GPS on the windowsill did not catch anything (the phones were immediately caught with GPS). I decided to reflash it to the firmware from the site from 10.2015 (they are stitching at the factory on 6.2015). Through SD, the firmware seemed to be flashed (the bootloader wrote 100%), but the recorder stopped turning on. I contacted online support through the site. They gave a link to DirectUSB (v2.2.19.0). With its help, the recording process goes through, but verification gives an error (BST: FAILED! (2304,7) Get PTB failed! Etc.).In short, on the same day I changed a new one in the store and decided not to ask again (and do not touch the settings) and went with him to Crimea :-) By the way, the new one and GPS immediately started working)) I compared the recording at 1920x1024 with a high resolution - I did not see the difference in clarity. As a result, everything was left at the factory settings. it seems only with them the registrar was checked. Only GPS turned on. The result after the trip looked - normal, but I had to tighten the fasteners in two places, tk. when you go along the broken Crimean roads the recorder shakes and the whole picture is blurred. So I do not recommend removing the device when leaving the car. otherwise it will be completely loose. I immediately lathered the suction cup and since then keeps it as glued (although it flew in once at a speed that already struck the shock absorber). I also do not recommend changing the settings and especially the firmware. it seems that the developer does not invest in this part at all. Conclusion: this is just a DVR with normal quality of recording of night shooting and with normal determination of speed by GPS. My previous one (also with FullHD) gives a much worse picture (I outweighed it on the rear window).

I read a lot of comments before buying. There were both positive and negative ones. words that vr. swells or glitches until confirmed. In general, the model is not bad: small, many functions, wide view: the sidewalk catches, not just in front of the car, but a little ahead, but if some suicide rushes under the car, I think there will be a record. I have had it since autumn, winter and summer, I have no complaints. For that kind of money as they ask for it, you can take it.

Comment: Honestly, I don't know why I chose this particular registrar. Probably because of the good ratio of filling and cost. Super HD video resolution is good, the picture is really clear. The manufacturer's website is very temptingly written about how HDR makes night video perfect. Even then, suspicions crept in that software capabilities could achieve a good result. Yes, the night video is not bad, better than the regs without such bells and whistles, but far from ideal. But the biggest problem was that I noticed an arbitrary disconnection of the recording. I thought I had a defective carcass, went to the Internet, and it turned out that not everyone has such a problem, but sometimes it comes across.

Advantages: SuperHD video justifies itself, everything is clear there is no blur at the edges even despite one of the largest viewing angles of 160 degrees

Disadvantages: Very tight fastening

Comment: The screen is large and bright, you can see everything on it, if you need to look. The navigation buttons are made conveniently, you find everything at once and you don't have to grope for something there for a long time, there is even a reset button, otherwise you had to look for a needle in the past. There is a GPS included, which can be connected separately. The only difficulty with which was the mount. It is monolithic, i.e. it cannot be detached from the DVR and is quite rigid, so sometimes it is even difficult to remove it.

Advantages: Excellent quality of shooting day and night, many additional functions. There are no gaps between entries.

Comment: I bought Karkam Q7 two months ago and gave him real tests. It looks simple, but in fact it turned out to be of high quality and functional. I really liked that he shoots without gaps between clips. Good viewing angles - oncoming cars and pedestrians and signs are visible. He shoots perfectly at night. I also liked the convenient bracket, you can easily and quickly remove the camera and take it with you.

Advantages: Convenient, practical, removes quality

Comment: This is my first registrar, I chose for a long time and settled on this, attracted by the price and opportunities. The video shoots well, I was driving along the highway at night, I also shot everything clearly, even the numbers of the cars in front could be seen well. The holder is fastened securely, holds the recorder well, so that it will not fall off. Convenient control buttons, there is even a reset button so that you don't look for a needle like a friend's, but I don't need it yet. In general, it met expectations, I am very pleased with it.

Advantages: Video quality. The fastening is of high quality. GPS can be connected.

Disadvantages: One-piece mount and recorder design. When I bought, I did not think that it would be important, but sometimes I would like them to be separated. Although the mount itself holds perfectly.

Comment: The video shoots excellent, played with the modes and still shoots well with any mode. I liked that you can connect GPS, then you can get more information. The only thing I regretted was that the recorder and the mount cannot be separated. When I bought I did not think that this question would arise at all, but it is not convenient to carry and store it in this form. In other matters, this is a matter of choice, maybe for some it will not be important.

Comment: I bought this model not long ago, so I will not tell you anything about reliability, while it works as it should be for a new registrar. I don't really know about the characteristics of the video, I just wanted great quality. I was advised to buy a recorder that will shoot in Super HD. Otherwise, my choice depended on the design. This device compares favorably with most rude and ugly recorders. I liked the controls, everything is very simple and clear, I understand that I will not set it up every day, but it's still nice. Karkam has already helped me out once, when a taxi driver cut me off. In practice, I made sure that the numbers are well read. In general, the quality of a freeze frame is no worse than a photo. By the way, the G-sensor worked perfectly well, hid the file with sharp braking in a special folder.

Advantages: Excellent quality of shooting, wide viewing angle, reliable mount, convenient program for viewing captured video, optimal price / quality ratio.

Disadvantages: - there is no function to save the necessary video clips; - VERY thin BRONZE (!) Fixing screw (see comment below); - the rubber cap of the mini-USB and mini-HDMI connectors is not fixed in the closed position, but simply dangles; - the operating instructions in terms of settings do not match the installed firmware.

Comment: I purchased this DVR a few months ago in July. I chose for a long time, evaluated the capabilities of different models from different manufacturers, and finally decided to purchase this particular one. I will not describe in detail all its advantages, I will only dwell on the fact that this device has a fairly convenient and reliable fastening (2 options: a suction cup and as many as three platforms with double-sided tape). The second thing that I would like to emphasize is a convenient and intuitive program for viewing the captured video with reference to the area map, which the recorder places on the memory card in a separate folder. The most significant drawback, which was revealed literally a week after the start of operation, is a VERY thin BRONZE (!) Retainer screw; When trying to tighten it with your fingers, the thread broke. Since the serial number is printed on the case on such a film that it was erased from my fingers, I decided not to bother with a guarantee (especially since the case would not have been guaranteed, I broke the screw myself) And so that the DVR does not rotate up and down, I had to choose the optimal angle of its inclination and fix it "permanently" with superglue. The operating instructions in terms of settings do not even correspond to the firmware with which I purchased this device, and there is no information about the newly introduced functions even on the official website of CARKAM, and you have to google about all the innovations or guess yourself. In general, I am satisfied with the DVR. with his main task - to shoot everything that happens on the road in front of him - he copes perfectly. I gave the general rating "good" only because of the indicated shortcomings.

Comment: Pleased with a huge number of functions! An excellent camera, the quality of the recording was pleasant, even better than ashdi. The picture when recording is clear, clear and no distortion. There is a control function in its own lane, although I do not think that this will help to avoid a head-on collision, but its presence is another plus for safety, and this is important !. And the display is 3 inches, it's just cool !!!
