After the new year, I decided that if I don’t start reading this year, then probably never again, so I’ll force myself to open catalogs, YouTube and other sites with reviews and start comparing models. I refused to buy the Kindles right away due to difficulties with formats and other nonsense, I refused onyxes because of the operating system. It seems like an android is convenient, but there is no autonomy. I did not consider any digmas with textsets at all, because taking China - thank you. I stopped at pocketbooks, and found the right model easily - a relatively new one, with a good screen, with wi-fi (yes, due to the peculiarities of the screen, the browser works slowly, but you don't need to go to the filibust and download the desired book at special speeds), and with a contrast screen ... At the same time - and that the price was adequate. Therefore, I chose 627

Advantages:
Excellent contrast backlit screen. There is twice as much RAM as in 626, I don't know if it works much faster (I can't compare, I haven't seen 626), but I don't see any brakes. Today I'm already reading half a day, the battery was dropped by only 4 percent. The built-in memory is already 8 gigs, I don't know how to score it

All the same, sometimes it's good that my toad doesn't let me buy something right away, but makes me think about buying for a couple of months. For a long time already I wanted to buy the 626 pocket, but somehow my hands did not reach, I felt sorry for the electronic reader. And generally speaking. And the day before yesterday, when I went to the store, I saw that 626 was no longer the most relevant reader, just the other day 627 came out. For the same price. Of course, I ordered it, especially since it looks much prettier.

Kobo aura died in mid-November (and I still did not understand why), the warranty on it ended, I decided to take a new book. I could not allocate more than 10-11 thousand, so I was looking for the maximum possible functionality, but in reasonable aisles, I did not even look at the flagship readers. I found pocket 627. I did not have any pocketbooks yet, so I had to master the shell for a while. However, I mastered it without problems - it is very simple. This is not an android (for which many thanks), but a lightweight version of Linux.Accordingly, the charge eats not in spoons, but drop by drop. This is the first plus. The second one reads books from the RAR archives adequately. Kobo's archives could not be the original program. The third plus is a normal sensor. With multitouch, everything is as it should be. The fourth month of use is coming - there is no discontent. Good reader.

After reading the reviews and reviews of this book, you will not have to be ashamed that I am completely delighted with the user experience. Reader was indeed very successful. It has everything you need for a modern reading room - the Internet, a built-in bookstore and lighting. And the main thing is a good screen and a battery that needs to be charged once a month. Well, I really like the design. The only thing for which you can blame the pocketbook is for a very aggressive PR, but if it were not for this, I would never have found out about them, and I can't throw a stone here either ... An ideal reader for me.

A week ago I gave it to my mother, now I stopped by again and asked in detail what and how. First conclusion - I like the book very much. True, I expected her to get used to the touch screen faster, but she still uses the buttons. It was possible to give a cheaper option. Second conclusion. Looking at how cats rush around the book without a cover, we can say that it is quite strong. Third conclusion. The screen is suitable for all eyes, even problematic ones. Maman does not complain, he says that the image does not visually differ from an ordinary book. The fourth conclusion. The mechanism of downloading books to the reader is for a person who, with a computer on you and in a whisper, is unbearably difficult. I tried to explain 20 times, then waved my hand and downloaded her books for six months in advance. The conclusion is final. The book is good, gives the impression of being reliable and does not fail so far. However. If mom still doesn’t figure it out with the sensor, I’ll give her my old 614, and I’ll take this one myself, because I like 627.

Advantages:
The screen is clear. Eyes do not get tired absolutely. The first charge lasted for almost a month of daily reading (the second charge is still in progress). The book bravely endured the heat and did not suffer at all (I checked it on vacation). I read on the beach, I did not notice the reader overheating. Everything is good. It looks cool, plus I wore it in a universal case all the time, and as soon as I went under the model I bought it immediately, I didn't spend a day without a case. The buttons work properly and are easy to press. There are no firmware glitches - the most stripped down Linux. Actually, I'm satisfied. e-ink technology fully justifies itself. My eyes don't hurt even after 5 hours of continuous reading, even with a backlight.

The Reader actually bought it recently. October 4th, only 6 days have passed, but I like everything. All the main features of the pockets are also here: all formats are read, a touch screen with a good response, wi-fi, backlighting, a convenient directory ... Plus, the design has finally been added. So far so good.

For me, the most important thing is 512 MB of RAM. Before that, I saw a maximum of 256 MB and books slowed down pretty well. Pretty decent - so much so that I didn't even think about buying.And here everything does not fly, of course, but relatively quickly. The screen is good. The resolution is not the maximum possible, but this is not a flagship either. For the middle class, readers are normal. But the screen is contrasty and reads like a real book. Batteries judging by the first days will last for a month. However, this is a Pocketbook, I did not expect anything else (I do not praise the manufacturer, they just do not have books on androids, and books on Lina keep the battery very well). Great design. This is certainly not the main thing in the reader, but it's nice to hold in your hands not a remnant, but a piece with a good appearance. Plus, it fits perfectly into a jacket pocket.

Year 4 I used the first Poket model with a touch screen (PB Touch, aka 622), then I broke it and did not use anything for a year, and about a week ago I decided that it was time to take this model for myself. Essentially the same, only better. The screen is better, the backlight is softer, it is almost one and a half centimeters shorter in length, it can easily fit into a pocket. The buttons are more convenient, and the design has finally appeared ... I can't say anything about the battery, it seems to hold it perfectly too. It costs the same as it gave for 622.

Finally, the pocketbook was able to design. I started to like their model externally since the 740, but the 740 is too big for me and a little expensive. Therefore, I waited for new models and bought 627 as soon as it went on sale. Everything I like, beautiful, comfortable, fast. And it costs the same as the old model 626+
