How is it to buy a water-resistant gadget and not test it? Of course, right after I bought it, I put it under the tap. He survived as cute. I didn't even turn it off. I just wiped it with a rag and it works.

I bought a protected reader simply because I believe that protection against moisture and dust should be in any gadget, no matter if it is a mobile device, a reader or a conventional navigator / recorder. Because you never know what conditions you will find yourself in. And paying extra 1000 is cheaper than repairing the gadget later. This is such a lyrical digression. And in fact, the book - in principle, I can not say anything bad. Despite the protected screen, it is still bright and quite sensitive. The backlight is excellent, no inconvenience when reading in the evening. At the same time, it does not interfere with neighbors either. There is no card slot, but no audio capabilities either. And now the question is - how many books weighing a maximum of half a megabyte will fit into 8 gigs? The answer is a lot. So I don't see this as a problem. The design is excellent, the color is very pleasant, without a cover the case is not scratched. With ergonomics, everything is ok, no problem. I put 5.

Advantages:
Waterproof, backlit, excellent screen, wifi and touch screen. The screen has a high resolution, the quality of the fonts is excellent, the eyes never get tired. The price is high, but of the protected readers that are officially sold with us, this is the cheapest.
Disadvantages:
Not found yet. If the battery lasts a month and there are no firmware lags, then I will not find them.

Advantages:
I like everything so far. It is not braking, judging by first impressions, it has an excellent Wi-Fi module that connects through 2 walls, a screen that is truly white, well, water-resistant, which is very very buzzing.
Disadvantages:
Price. High, of course, but a niche reader - one, water-resistant - two and still new - three.

I hope the reviews will not let you down, because I chose the reader based on them.The final straw was a review with photos under the tap - power :)

Compared to the 625, the model works much faster. The screen has really become better, reading is much more pleasant. The price bites easily, but there is dust and moisture protection. As for working with a browser, this is a specific activity, but the network keeps uninterrupted, it connects quickly. So far, it is difficult to readjust to the new design, but it is definitely more convenient than the old models.

Beautiful - do not take away. Dark blue is a rather rare color for a gadget, but it was not for nothing that it was called aqua - this is the color of a wave during a storm ... Very beautiful. The presence of wi-fi. For those who do not understand why I explain Wi-Fi to an e-book - you no longer need to download books through a computer - you connect to the network through the built-in browser and download directly to the device. Waterproof. The most subtle plus for me, because I'm pretty neat. I will not specifically check this property, but if something happens, I hope that it will save you. Everything else is the same as in other top books: a gigabyte processor, 8 gigs of internal memory, a minimal library inside, a screen of the latest generation ... In general, everything is at the highest level.

Disadvantages:
I can not shove the memory card. didn't look at it in the store. and I already had a microsd, completely crammed with books (from the last reading room), I had to look for a card reader and transfer it all by cable through a PC, which took sooooo much time.

In general, I like everything so far. I have not checked the moisture resistance and I will not specifically, but I hope that all sorts of rains in the bag will survive. And I don't need more.

And the second, too - you can not be afraid that the reader will fall into the pool. The situation is, of course, caricatured, but there is no unnecessary excitement. And the spray is not afraid of her. The third plus is that the screen retains contrast in the sun. I have already tried it (I read it yesterday in Gorky) - no discomfort. Super!

Advantages:
The power button from the face (in the 640th model) was moved to the front panel. This is very cool, because it had to be pressed with a fingernail and it was extremely painful. The buttons have become softer and now do not play (again, in comparison with the 640). The screen is better. Sometimes at 640 I lacked contrast, now everything is ok. The battery has become larger. Although that was enough for me for a month. The interface itself became less blunt and the main errors were fixed. Now ALL the book is blue and looks better.

I also had a model of the previous generation, now I bought this one. The changes are enough to consider it not just an upgrade (640s)), but a really new reader. I like it immensely.

Advantages:
Beautiful body.They made it completely blue, did not leave the black back cover, as in the 640th, it looks better. Water resistance is not just for show, but is really present. I didn’t put it under the tap, for the sake of interest I once carried it out into the rain, nothing happened to her. By the way, the sensor works in the rain. Dust is not a problem either. True, the memory card cannot be shoved in due to dust and moisture protection, but there are 8 gigs of memory here, this is more than enough for me. The battery is 1500 mAh, so far for me these are just numbers, but according to estimates, it should be enough for 5 weeks when compared with my experience of using other readers.
Disadvantages:
Due to IP67, there is no way to insert a memory card + no support for audiobooks as there is no headphone jack.
