Advantages: Price Multifunctionality Simultaneous operation of two bands Does not underestimate the speed or ping Works stably
Disadvantages: The firmware has been released on the official Russian website for a long time. There were comments about the non-working IPTV, probably on a certain firmware
Comment: I have been using the router for about two weeks, I needed a universal dual-band router with IPTV support, which does not lower the speed, has a constant good ping and works stably without interruptions. It seems to me that the router fully copes with its tasks, but I have not yet tested the IPTV operation, I bought it for 1800 rubles. To anyone interested, I can tell you which settings, it seems to me, improve the work: 1) I advise you to open the Work with Wi-Fi item and instead of the Mixed operating mode, select 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ, the N and AC operating modes, respectively, so we disable support for outdated standards and Wi-Fi performance improves, but if some old devices stop working, you can turn it back on 2) I advise you to turn off WPS to increase Wi-Fi reliability and protect against hacking 3) I would not advise you to turn it off: ICMP Flood Attack Defense: TCP Flood Attack Defense: UDP Flood Attack Defense: Forbid WAN Ping: These are Firewall or Firewall security protocols, and logically, when disabled, the speed and ping should improve if there were any delays associated with this before. You decide whether to disable or not. 4) LED Control: turned off the indicators because I think they do not carry anything except additional load on the power supply and therefore can be turned off. 5) In the Wi-Fi Encryption Mode settings: WPA2-PSK. Improves Wi-Fi connection speed and reliability. 6) Automatic Maintenance. Automatic reboot of the router at a certain time, you can also check the box there and the router will reboot at a certain time only when no one is active connections, you can choose any time, I think at night. 7) Beamforming + write that good technology improves the stability of the wireless connection to the user individually, but I did not notice the difference until I turned it off, in new firmware versions I may turn it on again. Who else knows methods to improve speed and improve stability and ping, please write and you can also ask questions, I will try to answer.

Advantages: - The best of the cheap routers (I took it for 1400 rubles at a discount) - Dual-band Wi-Fi (if you have Wi-Fi 802.11ac specified in your smartphone / tablet, then it supports 5 GHz, version "n" in theory can also support, check ) - Four antennas - It is possible to turn off Wi-Fi on a schedule, turn off LED indicators
Disadvantages: - There is no Russian interface language in the standard firmware
Comment: On a computer, speedtest delivers 92/92 Mbit / s.Wi-Fi speed: next to the router - 2.4 GHz - 33/45 Mbps, 5 GHz - 89/92 Mbps, 3-4 meters (in the other corner of the room) - 2.4 GHz - 32 / 44 Mbps, 5 GHz - 88/92 Mbps, in another room (10 m, through 2 doors) - 2.4 GHz - 30/22 Mbps, 5 GHz - 88/92 Mbps in another at the end of the apartment, through a bunch of walls and doors - 2.4 GHz - 14/6 Mbit / s

Advantages: The Tenda AC6 router has shown good results. In my apartment, all devices are connected to the router via a Wi-Fi network, and these are two TVs, a laptop, two smartphones. The previous TP-Link 841n router dropped the speed almost every hour and there was a pause in the operation of all devices, the speed cuts were constant and neither the firmware nor the channel change helped. In addition, TP-link company for some reason decided to remove it from the list of supported devices for control via the Tether app. And now about Tenda AC6, the second day of work, I did not notice any breaks and drops in speed, I specially played 4K video through youtube on my TV, no signatures and brakes were noticed in playback. I also did not notice any problems with working on a laptop, I looked at many sites and video reviews without any problems. The router is a dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, due to this, 2 TVs and 1 laptop are connected to the 5 GHz channel, at the same time it left 2.4 GHz for the smartphone. Without any problems, I launched the first tincture through a laptop and already more flexibly configured everything through the "Tenda Wi-Fi" application on a smartphone, changed the network name, password, set the sleep time for the router.
Disadvantages: During the first days of work I did not find it.
Comment: Glad to the new acquisition, I hope it will continue to work without interruptions.

Advantages: Signal strength, price, 2.4 and 5 GHz, fast tuning
Disadvantages: If you find fault, the size is a little too big.
Comment: I think for this price (RUB 1,700) this is the best deal for a powerful and dual-band router. Before him there was an old D-Link dir300 - the difference is huge. In the screenshots: a two-room apartment, opposite rooms.

Advantages: Wi-Fi standard AC Price Communication stability Communication range Russification out of the box Design
Disadvantages: No
Comment: I was wary of Tends, especially deshman routers (I worked as a field engineer for a local provider, I saw a lot of routers), but this stealth :) surprised me with the stability and quality of work for a very modest price. I didn't have to reflash, I just downloaded the latest official firmware from the box

Advantages: I liked the design very much - it is important for me. Powerful (30dBM) transmitter and 4 5dBi antennas in a router for 2 rubles. Possibility of simultaneous operation at two frequencies. Supports the most essential standards and protocols!
Comment: As for me, the chic model from Tenda and the absence of gig ports are designed for users who do not want to pay much for the bells and whistles they do not need. I believe this is absolutely the best option for this amount!

Advantages: Two WIFI bands, powerful transmitter and price (main selection criteria). Modern hardware and technology. External amplified antennas. Sufficiently advanced software. Software for mobile devices on IOS and Android. Easy to set up.
Disadvantages: Only 4 non-gigabit ports.
Comment: The task: to upgrade the existing access point at a low cost so that it 1) unconditionally completely covers a 5-room apartment of 100 sq.m in the 2 Hz range 2) preferably also completely in the 5 Hz range. This access point made it possible. In the very "priest" of the apartment, a link in the 5Hz (!) Range is somewhere from 16-20Mbit (provided that the access point is located approximately in the center of the apartment). In the 2 Hz range, the speed is higher, but the air is also heavily contaminated. It should still be enough for broadcasting content in good quality (heavier content, chasing over LAN, through sockets and a switch for gigabit =). Yes, it's a pity of course that the ports at this point are not gigabit, but for that kind of money (!) And with such characteristics - is there an alternative ??? I haven’t contacted Tenda before, so for me it’s rather an experiment. What will happen with further support and what kind of "bugs" will come out - is it not clear? But for now, everything is stable - I set it up and forget. Lightweight, but voluminous device, not easy to hide. But you can hang it on the wall and programmatically extinguish all the illumination (thanks for this opportunity, a necessary thing for a residential apartment!) As usual, I, strictly speaking, do not recommend such things to everyone (straight, run and buy!). This is not a TV or iron! Conditions and "Wishlist" are different for everyone. Therefore, I give a relative assessment. I was satisfied with the choice.

Advantages: Easy to customize. Anyone can figure it out even in English. 2 ranges of work 2.4 and 5 Hz. Good Wi-Fi signal transmission speed. Nice design
Disadvantages: The standard coverage area in a 3-room apartment (although with such antennas 4 pcs of 5 dB I thought the coverage area would be much larger). Compared with a microtic that has no antennas at all. On a solid 4, in short
Comment: Worth the money. Confident coverage in a 3-room apartment with excellent download speed! I bought it for 2000 and did not regret it.

Advantages: Price - 1399 rubles. For this price, there are 2 bands, 4 antennas, quite a powerful signal. Normal speed. Doesn't get too hot. The power adapter is slightly warm.
Disadvantages: Perhaps too big. Very short power cord. Not a Russified menu (can be corrected by firmware, but figured it out) But given the price, it's not even nice to call it shortcomings.
Comment: Being a teapot in the network settings, I connected and configured myself. After ASUS died six months later, I was surprised at the speed and power of the signal. Let's see how long this one will last. In the meantime, taking into account the ratio of price and capabilities of the device, it is more likely even 5 with a minus, and a minus only for the design (a matter of taste), a short cable (I still had enough). If it works out for a year or two, then exactly 5 ..

Advantages: Powerful 2-band access point. Works great out of the box without any modifications or experiments with the firmware. There is an Android application for easy control. One of the firmware developers is at w3bsit3-dns.com and is always ready to help.
Disadvantages: No gigabyte ports or USB.
