Advantages: The speed of the wafer is provider (90-95 Mbit), it's easy to configure, you can't go under the torrent load.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for networks with VPN connection. When using iptv, it hangs once every couple of days (it is treated with a reboot)
Comment: put about fifty such routers in different networks. Holds all connections, does not go under load. This router is an excellent choice for networks with DHCP, Static IP, PPPOE connection type. Difficulties may arise with connections of the VPN type. You cannot register IPsec in L2TP, you cannot enable MPPE in PPTP (on native firmware, on ddvrt it is possible, but it will cut the connection speed decently). Now about IPTV. Suitable for wired iptv use, but will hang once every couple of days. For Wi-Fi, IPTV is suitable for SD channels, everything in HD starts to scatter a picture (checked on several DUNE HD models). The power of the antennas is average, I did not see anything outstanding, it is suitable for a kopeck piece, I would not put it in a three-ruble note. The speed keeps the normal 100MB with a normal receiver will give out easily. From the conclusions: An excellent router for a small apartment, it performs its functions with a bang, if the VPN network and / or you need iptv on the wafer, take a closer look at the 842 model, there are more settings and it holds the iptv load much better.

Advantages: IP-TV works great on a device revision 8.1. Even HD channels over Wi-Fi are amazingly shown. Low price, a trifle for such a productive router.
Disadvantages: The eternal glitch of many TP-Links because of the jamb with DNS - I recommend specifying the DNS provider's DNS in the DHCP information.
Comment: It is difficult to assess the reliability of a router in the long term. How many years will it work.

Advantages: Quality of work. Of course, the price (750 rubles). On / off toggle switch for wi-fi (when you are not using the network, you can turn it off, and less radiation for the body, and you don’t interfere with the neighboring grids). Range of antennas.
Disadvantages: As a nit-picking - non-removable antennas (someone might be a disadvantage, but I don't care). I didn't find it anymore for such and such money))
Comment: Now to the point. The device was purchased 3 days ago. The firmware immediately after the purchase was uploaded with the newest (for the current date) 3.14.19 Build 130122 Rel.43330n, from the official website. Router v8.3, Beeline provider, L2TP, speed 40/80 (day / night). I don't use IPTV.The settings took about 10-15 minutes. I entered logins and passwords, cloned the MAC and everything worked right away. The interface is in Russian completely, for each item the decoding is detailed for beginners. Everything on a green background, nice to the eyes. Feature: the most correct setting will be through IE (this is really so), it is this browser that the manufacturer recommends. Speed does not cut through the air. Everything according to the tariff (of course, in the line of sight of the router, i.e. in the same room with it, through 2 walls the speed will naturally be lower - physics is physics). The power of the antennas set the average - the signal throughout the apartment is not less than 2 strips out of 4. The standard is only N - there are simply no other adapters at home. At the same time, I connect 2 smartphones, 1 tablet and a player via wi-fi - no one feels any discomfort. The router is a little warm. We don't indulge in torrents. Conclusion - as a workhorse for ordinary needs such as online video and web surfing, that's it. In other conditions, I simply did not check because there is no need.

Advantages: Support for WiFi N (up to 300M / b) Value for money Fast and convenient setup Warm little 4-port switch
Disadvantages: Not identified yet
Comment: I needed an access point to distribute the Internet from a dedicated line, that is, with a WAN port and preferably with WiFi N. At first I thought to take some D-Link DAP-1160 (which, by the way, only WiFi G), since before that I used only them ( again due to the price / quality), but then I came across reviews about TP-Link, in particular the revised model. Before that, to be honest, I was skeptical about TP-Link, because I heard a lot of flattering reviews ("warm, breaks", etc.), but this time I decided to try, besides, the price for the offered functionality turned out to be very attractive. And I was not mistaken (yet). I was pleasantly surprised - the setup took about one and a half minutes. The only thing - I downloaded a new firmware. The router practically does not heat up, in comparison with the same D-link, despite the fact that the WiFi power is set to High. So far, very satisfied. When I was choosing this model, the younger 741N stood next to it, with one antenna and an "old" square design. But I decided to take a newer one, especially since the difference was about $ 10. In general, to summarize: if you need an inexpensive functional WiFi N router, take a closer look at this model.

Advantages: 1. Very inexpensive 2. Interface in Russian (after flashing) 3. Does not cut the speed (even with a vpn connection, the speed easily reaches 85 megabits), I compare it with DIR-615 4. Has a wifi signal strength setting 5. Allows you to quickly configure the issuance of specific IP addresses with DHCP by mac-address 6. Has the function of accessing the settings from the Internet 7. If necessary, allows you to control the channel width for each user 8. The lamps are not halogen, they do not interfere with sleep at night with their blinking (which is not to say about DIR-615)
Disadvantages: 1. Does not know how to automatically check / install firmware updates 2. Does not have a "port forwarding" system ... you can of course use "virtual servers" or DMZ, but this does not give the desired effect (you can specify a range, but you cannot specify a set of ranges and individual ports separated by commas) 3. There is no built-in function for determining the correct MTU size, and due to the incorrect MTU value given by default, with my provider, all the owners of such routers initially have problems 4. It is impossible (or very difficult) to determine whether the vpn connection is working (on the DIR-615, when the vpn connection was lost, an orange light was shining instead of a green one)
Comment: A very decent router for the price of 700 rubles. I don’t know if the old router was really losing packets somewhere, which caused the session to break in online games, but with this router, there seems to be no such weirdness anymore.

Advantages: price
Disadvantages: cuts up speed (Upload)
Comment: there were no problems with wi-fi, the apartment gives quite confident reception (50 m2), the neighbor below also clings without problems. At the same time, there are no problems when connecting any devices: 2 laptops, a tablet, 2 mobile phones - there were never any problems. [no problems now - see below] Problems with what cuts the speed up (over WAN). Connection 40mbit / s. for uploading, these 40 are stable, for output - a pipe, even a 1MB picture for mail is a problem to upload. At the same time, by connecting the computer directly without a router, I received my 40 Mbps in both directions. it seems that there is a problem with the Ethernet controller: by punching the router, sometimes it is possible to switch it to 10 Mbps mode for Ethernet - then 10 will come up and down. As a result, I buy Kinetic ... P.S. the problem resolved itself - everything with the router is OK. just in case, I decided to re-crimp the cable - it turned out that the cable was poorly crimped when laying the line to the apartment. like this ...

Advantages: Convenient setting, not a bad signal, speed at altitude. Pulls 5 different devices, at different ends of the house, no problem.
Disadvantages: Sometimes, after turning on, it does not immediately see the network.
Comment: I bought it on New Year's Eve. I connected quickly, the speed was perfect, the ping up to the speed test was 29-35, LG TV with SMART TV, iPhone4, Sumsung Galaxy Ace, Asus laptop were connected and a PC was connected through the 1st port. It has been working for more than a month, the TV set is in the opposite part of the apartment. But it works great. It pulls even at the entrance to the entrance, and this is at the opposite wall of the house, it should be borne in mind that I live on the 2nd floor. I will update the review as you use it.

Advantages: Reliable Sea of settings A little warm The cheapest, probably
Disadvantages: Didn't find
Comment: In terms of price-quality ratio, it cannot be better, DLNA, WI-FI, everything works at the same time, I VERY enjoyed using it, not a single comment on the work. I have been using it for a month, everything is fine, it does not hang, the speed is the same as with a direct (plug to a computer) connection. Of course I recommend !!!
