Out of the box, the disc emitted a thin whistle-squeak, which passed through the walls and in a quiet time of the day was clearly recognized even in the next room. The disc was purchased with SN02 firmware. I started digging about managing the acoustics of the disk and came across a more recent firmware on the SG-SN04 website. It was sewn and - lo and behold - the whistle disappeared. Advantages:
Hello everyone!) Much has been written before me about noise, crackling, heating, etc. ... it's a nightmare, not a disc))) My answer is this ... guys, there are fewer hallucinogens in food and life will be easier))) Speed great! For 300MB, it reached when copying a 50GB microweight. No noise while working! A couple of times quietly clicked when copying. This is probably all, and even talking about some kind of tension is ridiculous. Very quiet in operation. Sn04 firmware. Even reluctant to update. Temperature 28 degrees. What else? ... like everything.
Disadvantages:
I didn't like that I don't see my reflection in the disk case))))

Take and do not fill your brain with nonsense about sound, temperature and so on. 5 years warranty !!!! Cool.
